SCENE 29
"So you know this?" Cheryl asked in a voice almost lost. Juna just nodded.
"So we are siblings?" Juna only responded with a chuckle.
Cheryl is relieved, even though she can't take it all for granted. How could it be, the person she had a crush on and like for almost a year ago and found this fact.
Cheryl was still mad at Delisha. Whether reasoned or not, the girl has not been able to return to her feet on the earth for what has happened to her now. She—Cheryl Anastasia crushes on Arjuna Raftali. Who repeatedly did not glance at her, always considered her like dust. It turned out that this was the reason. It meant that Juna had been doing the right thing. Cheryl was amazed at Juna's mature attitude.
Cheryl wasn't hurt, but her shallow brain still couldn't believe it. When her mother said that, Cheryl was silent on the green sofa for an indefinite period until all of her body went numb.
"Want to eat?" Delisha bargained. It didn't count how long Cheryl sat there. Delisha certainly knew that if she told her this, it would have had this effect. Even more insane, Cheryl could have committed suicide or became a madman. Hence, Delisha held back. And always remind Cheryl, don't let her feelings for Juna deepen. Because after all, that blood relationship should not happen. And Delisha is grateful that Juna knows the limits and only considers Cheryl her little sister. She was afraid that Juna would be carried away. However, his only daughter was so beautiful.
"I want to make juice?" Delisha bargained. Cheryl was silent. Not reacting, feeling the head of her brain was about to crack. The girl turned her gaze to the beautiful woman who made her have to suffer and feel the cruelty of the world.
Delisha took a deep breath and sat down again in front of her daughter. "I understand it. That's why you endure it desperately. But, it's time for you to know. However, you have the right to know and must know. It would help if you were angry, disappointed. This is a fate that God has outlined."
Cheryl looked away. Destiny? She hated this word because the fate she had to suffer was not acknowledged. Because of fate, she has no father. And another damn destiny, Juna—the crush she dreams of a prince on horseback must be her brother!
"Because you already know your father, you can end it. An acquaintance, maybe. I doesn't forbid." Delisha's statement caught Cheryl's attention. When her face was bent now, she had a face that was either happy, excited. For whatever reason, Cheryl already felt that vibration the first time Juna's father. What's this called bondage? But does Cheryl have to be mad because of that damn boy to make her have to be adrift like this?
The man Cheryl had to call him unlucky, even though she had his blood running through her. Juna's father is very handsome.
"What is his name?" asked Cheryl. She always used to guess who her birth father was, how old he was, and his name. Although never succeed and know for sure.
Delisha took another huff. She was discussing the past, making her fall back and remembering the dark events first. She was completely in a shattering position, left behind— crushed.
"A-Ayden." Delisha held back her voice as if she wanted to cry. Oh, does she have to cry in front of her daughter? She was just a fragile creature who was hurt many times by standing up in front of everyone. Cheryl, who was not interested in it, immediately started to squeeze her saliva roughly. The girl was confused about what to do.
"Have you met?" Cheryl nodded. Does Ayden know if she is his real daughter too? Cheryl's eyes widened, remembering the afternoon. She and Juna stretched out a mat and various foods when Ayden saw them from the window. Did he miss Cheryl? Or regret having missed all of Cheryl's growth up to this point.
"You need time, I understand. When you accept reality, talk to me. Or if you want to see your father, I can arrange it. Even if he is evil, he is your father. I can not dictate you should love or even hate him from personal decisions. just you."
'He's your father' seemed to bring down Cheryl's entire defence. Unconsciously the girl's tears. Her body got goosebumps. In each of her dreams, and now she knows who the father figure is, what she had always dreamed of, that she could never achieve. Cheryl used to be, always dreaming like other children, wishing there was a father who was always there when they were sad, teaching cycling, or carrying Cheryl in an aeroplane-like fashion and little Cheryl laughed cheerfully, when her teeth changed and became toothless, there was someone she could do. Mix.
There was someone who could kiss her forehead before going to sleep, the figure of a worried father when little Cheryl fell, and her knees bled. A father who could help her complete homework when Cheryl didn't like maths lessons, there was a father who was so patient and thorough in teaching her that he could.
The father figure kissing Cheryl on the cheek every morning and making milk or when she wakes up gets a warm good morning. "My daughter is grown. If you get a hundred math tests, you can take her to park." and the toothless little Cheryl laughed cheerfully while eating her father's fried rice. As simple as that.
Don't know how long Cheryl's body has been shaking because of this. What always disturbed her night's sleep finally spilled now.
Delisha stood up, patted Cheryl on the back fondly and understood how her son was feeling.
"Okay, mom will arrange your introductory meeting. He's nice." Cheryl calmed down a little and was quiet. 'He is good. Where are the good people who throw away their children? Even animals with no sense are good at caring for and protecting their young.
"You are free to do anything, to make you happy. Find someone who is truly responsible, make all lessons and guidelines for Cheryl's life, don't let your life like mom."
Cheryl hugged her birth mother. The woman who gave birth to her, how that woman struggled first. There comes a time, Cheryl will ask this. And she wanted to be told every detail of her story. Certainly.
"Talk to mom, when you're calm. I will arrange a meeting with your father, Juna, if you want."
This second. Cheryl realized that the Juna figure she dreamed of would never belong to her. Sacrifice other happiness for the thousands of good that follow.
Cheryl was finally able to raise her face. And took a deep breath. Get rid of the shit. She wanted to get rid of all the bad luck in her life that he had felt so far.
"Make peace." Delisha's last message that made Cheryl finally meet Juna now.
Cheryl sucked in an avocado juice with chocolate milk on the edge of the glass and looked around.
"Ready to meet daddy." there was usually a choking event to make it more dramatic, but Cheryl just gaped, holding the straw-like an idiot. When she regained consciousness, she again sucked her throat cool.
"Dad? Hahaha." Cheryl's been acting like crazy. Juna shook his head. It couldn't be helped, and this was the reality they had to face. Cheryl realized her ridiculousness and cleared her throat.
"Okay. So, when are we going to meet up?" Cheryl arched her eyebrows upward. When? Of course, sometimes. Is she ready to meet strangers and suddenly become the most important person in her life? Cheryl still didn't think that her life was like this.
"I was like. Ah ... everything feels weird. The world is so unique, huh." Cheryl looked outward, looking at a beautiful woman in heels pecking at the restaurant floor with a total of 4 children. The youngest two were twins and had two older siblings. The largest was around ten years old, and the other female was around six years old. And twin boys and girls. When married later, Cheryl wanted her life to be busy. Do not want her life is lonely and cooped up like what he is experiencing now. Her children must be free, have a complete and complete family. Harmonious family. She will be the best mother for her children and have a husband responsible for all of their lives.
Cheryl shifted her gaze to the boy in front of her with black, jet-black cropped hair and pomade that made him look shiny. In the past ... Cheryl always dreamed of Juna being the father of her children, which makes Cheryl only able to make her children's uncle with whoever will be her match.
If it is possible to ask Cheryl to hope that Ayden is not her father, she will continue to be with Juna. However, fate was not on their side, and Cheryl did not belong to Juna.
"So my feelings have been wrong?" Cheryl asked softly.
"There's nothing wrong with feeling. The feeling is a form of emotion, an expression that we feel. That's normal."
"You're like a psychologist." cursed Cheryl, carelessly making Juna chuckle and ruffled the girl's hair. It's just that Cheryl's feelings are nothing more, no confession.
"Uh, but you are amazing. Wise in your attitude, wise in saying. Even though the children in the technique of working with machines are not words."
"As intelligent and intelligent creatures, of course, we can sort out the right words to say."
"That's right ..." Cheryl accused, making Juna chuckle again.
"Okay, just talking like a friend."
"Do you think isn't getting married because she can't move on?" Juna shrugged his shoulders. Rhetorical question. Anyway, why not just go straight to the owner. Does Juna understand Delisha's feelings?
"Don't understand this. Try asking the grass that is swaying."
"Ask the mushrooms that refuse to grow."
"Ask the rainbow, why is he only present and leaves a thousand words that can be chained."
"Better enter literature. I, who is a literary student, can't speak like that."
"Good, so have a lot of expertise."
"Juna so arrongant."
"Cheryl is noisy!" on reflex Cheryl immediately threw Juna with a yellow tissue box. Luckily the guy was able to get away and make all the visitors focus on them, thinking that the two of them were fighting.
"The feeling I know Juna is calm. It's not like his mouth is dirty." Juna pursed his lips like a child, making Cheryl anxious to pull his off.
"Not always I have to be serious. Maybe it's time to break the ice like this." Cheryl nodded in agreement. That's right so that Juna won't be too stiff like a dry chamois.
"So I don't always belong to Juna?"
"Never. You'll never be mine."
"I was never yours." Cheryl mourned as she looked at the floor, where she saw that it was stained.
"You'll find your soulmate, and you're a partner."
Cheryl finally looked up and smiled sincerely at Juna. What else can we do? Maybe this is also how God shows so that all the riddles and questions why hwr life is not as normal as others are answered.
"And ... I hope, you can make peace and accept father's presence. After all, he's ... your father." Cheryl looked away at random. Is it possible? Can you accept your biological father with happy?
She hope she can.
