Chapter 46

Darwin blinked and the ceiling of the room looked a little foreign to him. Remembering for a moment, until he finally realized that he was currently in Velove's room.

Without noticing Darwin smiled. Lowering his gaze, he found Velove who was still fast asleep in a state of tightly hugging his body.

More than that, the two of them were even under the same blanket. So close. As soon as they stick like their skin smeared with adhesive. And don't forget either, the two of them haven't even worn a bit of clothes after they finished making love last night.

In silence, Darwin held out his hand. Rubbing Velove's smooth cheeks, while draping a strand of hair that seemed to cover his wife's beautiful face.

"It's only three in the morning," said the man. Then he lowered his gaze back to Velove. "Why did you suddenly wake up yourself? Did any of my movements startle you?"

Velove shook his head. She did not wake up because of her husband.

"No, really. I just suddenly felt cold. When I opened my eyes, I realized that I wasn't wearing clothes yet," chattered the woman casually without the slightest awkwardness.

Darwin chuckled. For some reason, he suddenly likes and enjoys his interactions with Velove, who are so intimate like this. In fact, when he was with Vicky he was also very close. But why, it feels so much different again.

Even though it looks spoiled, Velove can position itself. Not even the slightest to maintain the image when near him. Looks outspoken and likes to say directly what he wants. Very different from Vicky.

Even though this wasn't the first time, Velove was still surprised by the sudden attack that her husband gave her. Then, Velove's hands went up, then pushed Darwin's chest a little so that the kiss broke down for a moment.

"Win," Velove squeaked in a soft voice. "You don't want to continue sleeping?"

Darwin took a sip of his saliva. Continuing to lock Velove's eyes, the man gave a response with a shake.

"How about if the sleep is postponed after repeating what we did last night."

"You mean?"

This time Darwin nodded with a mischievous look in his eyes.

"I feel like I'm out of my mind, Ve. I'm sure that now I'm starting to get addicted to you."

"Can't you just take a day off?"

Velove shook his head. Even though they are both leaders, they still can't act casually. Which their actions will later become a bad example for other staff.

"You forgot? At 10 there will be a meeting with one of the investors from Singapore, right?"

Darwin let out a long sigh. He finally remembered that today he had a scheduled meeting with one of the clients. In fact, if he had free time, he wanted to spend all day in the blanket with his wife.

"So, we work?" asked Darwin convincingly. Who knows what concessions there may be.

"Yes, Win. So, hurry up and take a shower."

"But, aren't you tired?"

Darwin suddenly felt worried. He was afraid that his wife would feel exhausted from what they did last night.

"Tired, really. But how? You really have to work."

he smiled. He kissed Velove's forehead for a moment. Then he grabbed her wrist and held it tightly.

"Thanks for everything. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be better than before."

Velove nodded. He thought there was nothing wrong with giving Darwin a second chance. After all, if the household can still be improved to be better, why not give it a try.

"You don't need to thank all kinds of things, Win. What is certain is that I hope you will hold on and prove what you have promised me."

"You don't need to worry, Ve. I'll try to do my best."

"And about Vicky..." interrupted Velove when Darwin finished the previous sentence. "Are you sure you want to end your relationship and prefer me?"

"I have decided to choose you, who is indeed my wife. Later, if there is a chance, I have permission to meet Vicky to explain everything and at the same time end our relationship."

Velove nodded and smiled. From the look in Darwin's eyes, he was sure that her husband meant what he said.

"Then, the day after tomorrow you just prove what you said just now."

Hearing Velove's words, Darwin's eyebrows reflexively knit together. Of course he wondered what Velove meant by just now.

"The day after tomorrow? You mean?"

"Yes," nodded Velove. "The day after tomorrow there is a working meeting for the heads of divisions for all branches. Vicky will automatically come to Jakarta. I will give you one day and one chance to meet him and get everything done. I hope you will keep what you promised."

Darwin nodded in agreement with what Velove said. There is great hope that his meeting with Vicky will resolve everything.
