Chapter 47
After meeting with investors from Singapore, Darwin decided to immediately return to the room. Looking for a cell phone, quickly contacted Velove and asked him to immediately go to his room. For some reason, Darwin suddenly felt homesick for his wife.
If you think about it, it seems too much. But, what else could he do, that was how he was feeling right now. Anyway, since last night's incident, there has been a feeling that made Darwin want to stay together and linger with Velove.
"Oh my God, I think I'm really strong with Randy because I used to boast that I wouldn't fall in love with Velove."
Darwin recited the sentence silently. While he was busy daydreaming, Velove, whom he had called before, appeared to enter the room. Walked closer, approached the position where Darwin was sitting.
"Why? You want to talk about the meeting earlier?"
Darwin looked up. Staring at Velove's face with a smile, the man then grabbed his wife's wrist and then pulled her so she sat right on his lap.
"Win!" shrieked Velove so surprised.
"Yes, what, honey?" Darwin even answered Velove's words so softly. Taking his hand, then without hesitation immediately hugged tightly from behind. Even taking the opportunity to kiss Velove on the cheek with an exasperated expression.
"What do you want?" asked Velove with a worried tone. The problem is, Darwin's room door is not locked. I'm just afraid that other staff will suddenly come in and see what the two of them are doing.
"I miss you," Darwin replied while continuing to kiss Velove's cheeks and neck alternately.
"What do you miss? We are no longer far away."
"But, I want to keep hugging you, Ve."
"You don't have to overdo it," Velove replied while continuing to try to get out of his husband's confinement.
However, instead of letting go, Darwin turned Velove's position instead. Deliberately directed his wife's body to sit sideways on his lap.
"I'm not exaggerating. I really miss you and want to hug and kiss you all the time."
"The problem is we are at the office. Later if someone suddenly comes in, those present can see what we are doing."
"Do not mind it!" replied Darwin coolly. He didn't seem to care one bit if the people around saw what he and Velove were doing. "Why should we be ashamed? We're husband and wife."
Darwin then proved what he said. Bringing his hand, then cupped Velove's both cheeks. Interestingly a little, to then pulverize it tenderly.
One of Darwin's hands then dropped, moved to then slip into the black blazer that Velove was wearing. Stroking slowly, until finally found what he was looking for then squeezed it slowly.
In Darwin's kiss, Velove jumped in surprise and even glared unintentionally. Feeling unprepared for what Darwin did to him. He wanted to brush it off, but her husband had anticipated it by holding his hand so it wouldn't move anywhere.
Then Darwin continued to deepen the kiss. Continue to pulverize and also bite without stopping. In fact, when he heard a knock on the door, the man did not care. Until finally someone entered and saw clearly what he and Velove were doing.
"Gosh. Sorry if I disturbed Mr. Darwin and Mrs. Velove," shouted a man's voice that was so familiar to Darwin and Velove.
Feeling bad, the man intended to get out. Just about to turn around, heard the owner of the room calling.
In his position, Darwin slowly broke the kiss. Seconds later, the man turned his head casually to the source of the sound.
"No problem, Mr. Nathan. I was the careless one who didn't lock the door first. By the way, are the files I asked for finished?"
Nathan nodded with an uncomfortable facial expression. Taking a step forward, the man then handed over what Darwin asked for.
"I've corrected everything. All that's left is to hand it over to Pak Darius."
"Then thank you. Mr. Nathan can continue working again.
Without many words, Nathan immediately stepped out of the room. Leaving Darwin who seemed to smile happily at the previous incident.
It's not without reason why Nathan could suddenly enter Darwin's room. After asking Velove to come into the room, he deliberately contacted Nathan to hand over one of the files that he would bring to Darius' office after this.
And finally the bait he threw was eaten by Nathan. Darwin believed that what he and Velove were doing would have been clearly seen by Nathan.
"You really are, Win! I'm so embarrassed," complained Velove after previously being silent. The woman's face was sullen. Very annoyed with what Darwin did.
"Are you really embarrassed? Or are you not comfortable with your ex?" Darwin quipped on purpose.
"Don't start!"
he laughed. Rising from his seat, the man then approached Velove who had already stood up.
"Okay, let's just continue cranking up later. I'm going to your father's office. You'll come along, okay? So, it's over from there, let's just go straight home."
Velove did not refuse. Even though he was still annoyed, he agreed when Darwin asked him to go. This afternoon, Darwin had several important things to convey to his father.
Entering the Wijaya Group building, Darwin immediately took Velove intimately. Down the 15th floor corridor, then stopped in front of one of the rooms.
"Honey, do you want to stay here?" asked Darwin to make sure. It seems that Velove prefers to stop first at Deasy's room. Because in the past month, his best friend has been on duty at the main building.
"Yeah. I'll stop by for a bit. That's fine, right?"
Darwin nodded. Even though it was his turn to dislike Deasy, he still didn't feel comfortable limiting and forbidding Velove from socializing or keeping in touch with his best friend.
"All right. Then, I'll go to papa's room first. When your business is done, just follow me upstairs."
Darwin then proceeded to immediately go to Darius' room. Meanwhile, Velove immediately approached Deasy who was currently busy doing something at her desk.
"Really serious," Velove said as he stepped inside. Walking closer, the woman pulled up a chair and sat her body there.
Deasy, who was focused on checking her work, then nodded. Without even turning around, the woman answered Velove's rebuke.
"The deadline must be cleared this afternoon. You know that all these reports must be presented at the work meeting the day after tomorrow in front of all the superiors," Deasy explained while continuing to do her work. "By the way, who are you here with? With Nathan?"
Hissing Velove. Why did Deasy even guess that she was going with Nathan.
"With Darwin, that's how it is possible for me to come here with Nathan. For whatever reason with him."
"Hiss, really lazy," Deasy chuckled. The expression on his face, which had been flat before, immediately changed to annoyance when he heard Velove say Darwin's name in front of him. For some reason, the hatred that Deasy instilled from the start, until now, has not left the woman.
"Why lazy, really?"
"Yes, I'm lazy to hear your husband's name, Ve. Have you forgotten? He embarrassed me at the bar the other day. Besides, why did you marry a jerk like Darwin," complained Deasy bluntly. He didn't care if Velove got angry or offended by what he said.
"Loh, why do you blame me," Velove sneered quickly. "You know that my father is the matchmaker. How can you be picky about the matchmaker's name?"
Still focused on the PC screen in front of him, Deasy nodded her head. After that, the woman spoke again.
"Then, how about a month's trial to become a happy husband and wife? The time will soon be over, right?"
"Yes," nodded Velove. He understood what Deasy meant. "Should be finished in two days."
"Then, how? You guys still divorced in six months?"
Velove smiled. Even though Deasy wasn't looking at him at the moment, she still reflexively shook her head.
"There will be no divorce, Des."
Deasy, who had been busy with work from the start, suddenly stopped her hands on the keyboard. Looking up, the woman immediately threw a questioning look.
"You mean there is no divorce how, Ve?"
Deasy kept throwing questioning glances at her interlocutor. Instead of answering, Velove just smiled broadly, which made Deasy even more exasperated and finally guessed herself.
"Don't tell me you two are really in love with each other."
After the sentence was ejected, in the next second Velove immediately nodded. He simply confirmed what Deasy had just said.
"Your guess is right. Darwin and I have decided that there will be no divorce in our household. Yes, let's just say that we both really like each other."
"For God's sake, Velove!" exclaimed Deasy with a look of disbelief. The woman's head shook repeatedly. Trying to deny what he just heard. For Deasy, his best friend is really out of his mind. "Don't be crazy! Are you sure you want to live forever with a jerk like Darwin? Oh, come on. You can get much better than Darwin, Ve. Why does it have to be him? Why?!"
Velove kept a relaxed face. Not affected by what Deasy said to him. After all, he had already made up his mind. And no one has the right to interfere.
"Yeah, that's okay. I'm sure of it. After all, from the start of my marriage, I've made a commitment to myself to take my household seriously in the future."
"The problem is, your husband is Darwin, Ve. Likes to play with women and is clearly having an affair. In fact, I'm sure his previous relationship with Vicky Mouse has gone too far! It's really not fair for you to get an ex-boyfriend like him."
Deasy growled in annoyance. The woman did not accept what Velove had decided. For some reason, the main thing is that Deasy is not willing for her best friend to get a jerk husband and far from the criteria.
Velove himself was only able to take a deep breath. Actually, he was too lazy to argue about personal matters like this.
"Des..." Velove called out. "Every human being must have made a mistake. I'm not God. So it's not right to judge his past. If only what he did in the past happened to me, it would be really sad if no man would accept me because he has bad past."
Velove kept staring at Deasy's face. Trying very hard to convince his friend that what he chose was the best.
"The important thing is, now Darwin has changed and is committed. He has also promised to run, foster, and look after our household well in the future."
"But, cheating is a disease that has no cure, Velove Vexia Fernando," Deasy debated once again. His voice sounded getting higher. Not satisfied with hearing Velove's argument, which seemed to be desperately defending the figure of her husband. "Don't close your eyes too much. I'm sure, even though he's changed now, it's possible that in the future he can repeat the same thing."
Velove nodded. Not in the slightest disproving what Deasy told him. In fact, he would probably be grateful that his best friend was so worried about what would happen to him in the future.
"Never mind, Des. My decision is final to continue with the marriage. Even if something happens in the middle of the road, let it be my business. Thank you very much for worrying."
Deasy looked resigned. All the suggestions and arguments he put forward were useless because in the end, Velove still chose Darwin as her husband.

Deasy, who was still annoyed as usual, asked Nathan to meet each other. After work, as before, the two made an appointment to have dinner together at a restaurant in a well-known mall.
Deasy certainly arrived first. A few minutes later, Nathan, who had also come home from work, was seen approaching to join in.
"For what purpose are you asking me to meet this time, Des?" asked Nathan when he had sat down. I'm pretty sure there must be a big reason her ex-boyfriend's best friend asked to meet up like now.
"This is bad, Nath," Deasy raped with a worried expression. As if there was a fear that the woman was feeling.
Nathan first took a sip of the strawberry milkshake that Deasy had ordered. Putting on a stay cool look, the man clarified.
"What's so bad? Are you fired? Or are you pregnant and your boyfriend is not responsible?"
"God forbid seven generations," snorted Deasy. "This isn't about me. It's about you and Velove."
Nathan nodded with a relaxed expression. Not really surprised that Deasy asked him to meet to discuss the matter of his ex-girlfriend.
"Why? She's getting closer to her husband?"
Deasy nodded repeatedly. Yes, that was indeed the issue he wanted to discuss with Nathan.
"Velove has decided not to divorce Darwin. He insists on maintaining his marriage regardless of background or what Darwin has been doing so far."
"Are you serious?"
Once again Daisy nodded.
"What I'm afraid of really happened, Nath. At this rate, it will be difficult for you to get Velove."
Nathan took a deep breath. His jaw tightened. Maybe trying to hold back emotions.
"This afternoon, I even caught Darwin and Velove kissing in the chief's room."
"Do not be crazy!"
"For God's sake, Deasy. I'm not making this up. And it seems, Darwin did invite me to his room on purpose because he wanted to show off what he and Velove were doing."
Deasy gaped. For a split second he couldn't even say anything.
"I'm sure the two of them have done more than just kiss, Nath," Deasy continued, sounding heated. "In the end, what I was afraid of actually happened. If it's like this, what can you do? It will be difficult to get Velove to come back to your side, Nathaanel."
Deasy cursed repeatedly. The feeling is not right now.
Meanwhile, Nathan was silent. The man stared straight at her with an expression that was hard to decipher. Either feeling resigned. Or even think of something he might still be able to do after this.
