This afternoon, as promised, Darwin actually picked up Velove at the Wijaya Group building. All the way home, the man seemed silent and chose to busy himself with the tablet in his hand. There is no intention at all to invite Velove to talk as usual.

While Velove himself chose not to interfere. She knew her husband was in a bad mood. So, instead of being curt like this afternoon, Velove chose to remain silent and hoped that her husband's anger would not last any longer.

Arriving at home, Velove rushed to clean up. Once finished, she took the initiative to immediately go to the kitchen because she wanted to prepare dinner for her husband to eat.

However, once again Velove had to accept reality. Entering dinner time and even when he waited until eight o'clock, Darwin never came down to the dining room. Reni even assigned Velove to call and still her husband refused the invitation to dinner on the pretext that he was not hungry and did not want to be disturbed by his activities when he was finishing work.

"When I saw earlier, you are really working on something, Non," Reni reported to Velove when he returned to the dining room. "It looks like he's also on a video call with a lot of people."

"You mean teleconference?" Velove guessed as if he knew what Reni meant just now.

"Maybe that's the name this time. I don't understand either. What is certain, earlier I saw you busy chatting in English in front of a computer screen. His clothes were neat too."

Velove nodded. Think positively if her husband is busy doing something and doesn't want to be disturbed. That's why, because she was lazy to make a fuss, she ordered Reni to return to Darwin's study by bringing food for her husband to eat later after finishing work.

Making sure he himself had eaten dinner, Velove returned to the room. Getting rid of boredom by watching television until finally at ten in the evening he decided to rest. Velove thought there was no hope for her husband to sleep in their room tonight.

However, this time Velove's guess was wrong. When it was one o'clock at night when he accidentally woke up, Velove faintly saw Darwin who had just opened the bedroom door and then decided to enter. From inside the blanket, Velove watched how her husband changed clothes then decided to go back to sleep next to him.

Velove thought, maybe Darwin deliberately entered the room so late because he was waiting for him to sleep first. However, no matter what happened, Velove still felt relieved. At least, Darwin was willing to return to rest in the same room with him.

The next day, when Velove woke up, he didn't find Darwin lying beside him. There was a desire to search, until he saw Darwin who had just come out of the bathroom and walked towards the walk-in closet.

"Win...." Velove called softly.

In front of him, there was Darwin who looked busy choosing clothes to wear. I don't know where her husband is going. Even though it's the weekend and Darwin definitely isn't working.

"Where are you going so early in the morning?" asked Velove carefully. He was sure Darwin heard what he said just now.

However, instead of being answered, Darwin seemed indifferent. The man still looks focused on choosing clothes then put it on.

Feeling neglected, Velove did not remain silent. Realizing that his life partner's mood was still the same as before, he took the initiative to change the question and hoped that this time Darwin would answer it.

"How long are you going to leave me like this?"

Darwin, who had finished wearing clothes and was even preparing to leave the room, held back his steps. Seconds later, turned around to look at Velove who was currently sitting on the side of the bed. From Darwin's eyes, he could see the sad look that his wife was showing.

God, Darwin actually felt sorry. It felt like he wanted to walk closer and hug the woman who had just come back together with him. But, because of the amount of selfishness that was filling his heart, he refused to do it all.

According to Darwin, this time he had the right to be disappointed. He even believes, if what his wife does is considered trivial or a passing wind, it is possible that it will happen again in the future. That's why, it didn't hurt that he looked a little tougher than usual.

"You really won't forgive me?" squeaked Velove with sad eyes. There is hope that Darwin will end his anger. "What should I do to make you apologize? What should I do so that our relationship can return to normal as before? How much longer do I have to wait, Win?"

Once again, Velove at length expressed his whole heart. For her, it was enough for her two days to be silenced by her own husband. It's useless under the same roof, in the same room, even in the same bed, if you are reprimanded or spoken to, you are not genuine. If this continues, why are they together?

"I'm not angry," Darwin finally said. "I just need some time to fix my chaotic mood."

"But, how long will it take? Do I need to leave this house first so that the process of improving your mood can run smoothly and we can make up soon?"

Darwin took a deep breath. In fact, he was completely wrong at the moment.

"If you're not interested in what else to say, see me in this house, you can say it's fine. As soon as I'm out of your house, Win."

"I didn't ask you to leave," Darwin said quickly. The man's voice even sounded a little high. "I just ask you to give me time to fix my feelings that are no longer okay. I realize that maybe what you did was not as cruel as what I did in the past. It's just that I've been trying to change for the better, Ve. "You're not coming home, Win? We've been outside the house all day. I'm afraid Velove will be looking for you," Samuel warned.

"Don't worry, Velove won't be looking for you," Darwin said casually.

"Why won't you look for it?" Randy inquired curiously. His name is curious, he will always question further what he thinks is interesting to discuss.

"The point is I'm fasting to talk to Velove. There's one reason that makes me disappointed with the actions he's been taking for a while."

Randy chuckled lazily. He thought, Darwin and Velove just got together. There were many tests and obstacles that both of them did to get back together.

Instead of being touched, Randy laughed. Even the man's laughter sounded quite loud. Obviously this raises a question mark in Darwin's mind. There's something funny about that sentence.

But, if your wife has apologized, you must forgive her. After all, teaching lessons can be done by speaking kindly, not by keeping silent."

"Yes, here," continued Randy. "Everywhere, it's women who like to be cranky and silence. Here, why is it upside down?" sneered after Randy.

Darwin let out a long sigh. That's why he was lazy yesterday to tell this problem to his cousin. Instead of being supported, he must be made the main suspect.

Just about to respond to Randy's words, Darwin's cellphone rang. An unknown number seemed to call him several times. Because he was afraid of something emergency, Darwin immediately picked it up.

"Yes, hello?"

"Good afternoon, what is this with Mr. Darwin Morales Khiel?"

"Yeah, that's right," said Darwin. "Can I help you?"

"We from Siloam Hospital would like to inform you that your wife, Mrs. Velove Vexia Fernando, is in the emergency room. She and one of her colleagues have just had an accident. We request you to come to the hospital immediately."

Darwin gasped in surprise. Without saying much, he also asked to confirm the address of the hospital then hurriedly went to his destination. Even Samuel and Randy also accompanied.

Arriving at the hospital, Darwin half ran straight to the emergency room. There, he was asked to wait for a while for the medical team who was treating Velove.

Until 15 minutes later, one of the doctors came out and Darwin immediately approached.

"Father of his family, Mrs. Velove and Mrs. Deasy?"

"Yes, doc. I am her husband. How could this be an accident?"

"Then how are my wife and her friend?"
