16. Fuck you All.
The more Arthur sat in the room watching the auctions, the more disgusted and irritated he was. He was never a fan of slave auctions unlike his father who loved it so much and bought human slaves once every three years. What he couldn't understand was why his father didn't come himself this time to buy whatever he wanted plus he had already bought one slave this year already.
His father had even specifically told him which slave to buy, one Winifred, he made sure to even describe the girl physical attributes so well for him since their names are never mentioned. He had said he wanted her as his new sex slave and would discard the one he had already recently bought. His father, who was the alpha king of the lycan Kingdom loved to make humans miserable, he hated humans so much and made sure everyone in the kingdom did too. Arthur was raised to hate humans too and he actually do hate them, it was afterall said that humans killed his mother when he was just five.
"Wow, look who we have here. Have you also taken a liking to sex slaves?" A masculine voice said as he took a seat beside Arthur.
Arthur immediately looked to see who it was and as soon as he registered the face, he rolled his eyes. It was none other than the Vampire king, Edward.
"I'm here because father sent me here. I have not developed any interest, I don't think I ever will, this is so disgusting." Arthur said.
"You know, if not because you're such a strong lycan wolf, I would be very convinced that you're not your father's real son. You do not act like him in any way, when he was your age, he visited the house of babylon everytime there was an auction. Back then, we'd buy human slaves as toys and do whatever we wanted with them before we discarded them. Those days were so fun, you should do the same with Xavier." Edward said, smiling as he reminisced on the old days with his friend.
Arthur decided to just not respond to the ageless man with stupid coily hair beside him, he figured out that the more he did that, the more he would keep talking and he was exhausted enough about the auction to have a chatterbox beside him. His father and this man had always been friends before the big war that separated them all happened, but that separation was only for a few years as the Vampire land and lycan kingdom came to a truce five years ago.
Loud excited noises attracted him and he looked back at the auction stage to see that a girl had been stripped, leaving the upper part of her body completely naked and then the warden spoke again.
"Beautiful, I know. Now, who wants to be the master of this pure virgin. Let's start with five hundred shillings!" The man shouted.
And before he could even finish his sentence, a man already bade five fifty.
"Eight hundred!" Another man on the right side of Arthur bade higher only to be out-bidden by another man who shouted "One thousand shillings!" with so much frenzy that Arthur couldn't help but wonder what was getting grown men so excited about buying sex slaves.
"One thousand! Anyone else want to outbid them before the good gets sold out? One, two, three! Okay, she's sold to the Sir Thomas!" The warden confirmed. "You can go and get your good backstage sir."
The whole ceremony was starting to get Arthur pissed and he was about to just go out of the room and get some fresh hair when another girl was roughly dragged in, one that looked like everything his father described, he was forced to remain seated and bid for what his father wanted.
He had been wondering what was so special about this girl that had made his father send him out on a mission he was in no way interested in but on seeing the girl on the stage with so much light shining on her, he could see why he wanted her so much. Even though he hated it, he knew he would be living in denial if he said he wasn't mesmerized by the girl he was seeing at that moment. And as he looked around, he was sure that he wasn't the only one who found the girl really attractive.
"She is the one." Edward whispered to Arthur, succeeding in breaking whatever trance he was in.
"What do you mean?" He questioned, his eyes still fixated on the stage.
"She's definitely the one who would be bought for the highest price today and her owner is sure to be me. I always get the best slaves." Edward said, making Arthur turn to look at him this time.
"I wouldn't be so sure if I were you." Arthur responded, smirking.
"Oh, I never loose. That's for sure." Edward said, giving an equal smirk, he loved games and competitions afterall.
But then, Arthur was prepared too.
"There's always a first time to everything sir." He said, adding an arrogant tint to his voice.
"Oooh, I'm so going to have fun beating you."
"We shall see."
But then, what no one could ever expect happened and it was shocking even to Arthur. The girl slapped the warden right across his face. Hard.
The silence in the room was deafening and even a pin could be heard if it dropped at that moment, everyone's attention was on the auction stage and it was evident that they all had the same thing on their minds.
'What is going to happen next?'
Arthur was already thinking that they'd probably make a scapegoat out of the girl by doing unspeakable things to her, no doubt but as soon as the warden was about to grab her for whatever, she went the other way, swiftly and then she held up her middle finger and pointed it at the man afterwards, with a smirk.
"This girl must have a death wish, that's for sure, but I'm definitely loving this. Never has something this interesting happened in the history of auctions." Edward said to Arthur who simply stared ahead, watching the drama that was unfolding, the same thing most people in there were doing.
The warden tried to get hold of the girl again but she instantly sidestepped him and then kicked him, in the groin.
It was at this point that the audience started to squeal with excitement, laughing at the warden's terror.
Two other guards immediately stepped into the scene to help their colleague who was now writhing in pain on the stage floor, they started to shout and growl at the girl, trying to keep different angles so they could immediately get hold of the rebellious slave in front of them. But just when they were about to get her again, she found her way out of their midst and they ended up grabbing one another instead. The audience continued to holler wildly, like they were loving the spectacle while the warden on the ground kept trying to restore order by shouting instructions no one was obviously listening to.
More wardens and guards claimed the stage and started to move towards the girl, the crowd went silent as she continued to back away from them even when it was evident that she could never outrun them and then she spoke.
“Okay, look, I know that I can't escape this, I knew that obviously so it's not that I'm not trying to run away. I just wanted to teach this particular man a lesson." She spoke loud and clear pointing at the warden who was still on the floor.
“Because fuck him, he shouldn't keep touching me inappropriately any reason at all. In fact, you know what, fuck you all too!" She said, while facing the audience this time and as if realizing something, she gasped a little and continued, "Oh, I forgot that you might not understand some of my languages or slangs so I will rephrase. To hell with all of you! I'm no slave, neither is anyone, neither should anyone be. I can't believe how fucking sick and twisted you all are for doing this. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Now that that's done and said, I'm done with this bullshit so when and how am I getting killed?"
