Chapter 4
It's been a few days, Things have been running pretty smoothly around here. Rose wasn't a messy little kid like other kids I've babysat for, so this job was pretty easy. All I had to do was wake her up for school, get her dressed, drive her to school, pick her up from school, and cook for her.
-
It's been a pretty chill day so far, I've taken Rose to school and Anastasia was out with Vincent handling some business. I was alone in the house so I decided to go for a swim. I got changed into my bathing suit then headed downstairs and outside. I dived into the pool, I swam around. I laid back and floated "This place is amazing."
I swam around for about ten minutes, I remembered that Vincent had a few bottles of wine in his cabinet. I got out of the pool and walked back inside the house. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass, I grabbed the bottle of wine and walked back outside with it. I sat in the smaller part of the pool and poured me a glass of wine and sipped it.
"This wine is very good." Of course he would only have the most expensive wine, I loved it. My phone started to ring, I picked it up and saw Sam was trying to FaceTime me.
I answered "Hey babe."
"Hey, you seem like you're having a good time."
"I'm having the best time, i'm in an amazing house, with an amazing pool, delicious wine, i'm living life right now." I sipped some more wine.
"Maybe I can come spend some time with you for a while? Or is it too soon?"
"I don't think Vincent would care, he told me that it's okay for me to invite friends over; We just can't smoke or drink or curse around Rose."
"You don't have to tell me twice, I'll call off work right now." She laughed. "But how are you enjoying working there so far?"
"I love it, Rose is the sweetest girl ever, working here is a breeze."
"And what about Vincent?"
"What about him?"
"How do you feel about him?"
"He's okay." I chugged the rest of my drink.
"Just okay? You don't feel anything else?"
"What do you want me to feel? I love working here so however I feel about him I just need to let go, No matter how sexy he is."
There were plenty of nasty thoughts running through my head. I haven't had sex in so long I was thinking of all the positions Vincent could fuck me in.
"See, you find him sexy so you might as well try and see if he finds you sexy too."
"No way, I've only had this job for a week, there's no way i'm gonna ruin anything."
"Whatever, Anyways, I just called out of work so i'll be on my way in a few; just send me the address."
"Okay, I'll see you in a few, and bring a bathing suit."
"Of course, Later." She hung up the phone.
I sent her the address then grabbed the bottle and poured me another glass of wine, I sipped it while the sun shined in my face. I looked back at the house, I saw Vincent standing in the doorway watching me.
I don't know when he got back, but he was looking hot as fuck. He stood there in his white tank top and grey sweatpants, I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. But obviously he couldn't keep his eyes off of me either.
I waved at him, he waved back then I saw some girl walk up behind him and wrap her arms around him. She then slid the door open and walked out, she was in her bathing suit. I can see why he went for her, she was beautiful and she had an amazing body also.
"Hey there, we haven't met yet. I'm Sabrina." She walked towards me with a smile.
"Hey, I'm Maya." I smiled.
"Hope you don't mind if I join you out here, today is a nice day." She sat down next to me.
"Of course it's fine."
I wasn't really fine with it, but I can't really say nothing. She was here before me.
"So, How are you enjoying the lavish life?" She said as she slipped her Gucci shades on.
"Um, I guess i'm loving it."
"Of course you are. Are you here only for the money, Or do you actually want the Job?"
"Um, it's a bit of both. I love being a nanny, taking care of children, making sure their homework is done, reading them bedtime stories, and so on. I've been doing this for years, so it's enjoyable and it makes me happy. But at the same time I really needed the money because of personal issues."
I don't know why she even cares.
"Okay. And how are things going with that job?"
"Everything is going fine."
"That's good. So how long have you been working here so far?"
"Only about a week."
"Wow, and you're already so comfortable?" She laughed.
"Well yeah, I do live here now."
"I hope you're not just living here so you can mooch off of my boyfriend."
"What? No, I already told you why I took this job."
"I just don't believe it, I think you're here for the money, I don't think you care about Rose."
"Well good thing you don't know me personally."
"And i'm glad for that, me and you could never be in the same room."
"Why are you being so rude? You don't have to be a bitch to me, you don't even know me. I don't know if it's jealousy because i'm living in the house but -"
"Jealousy? Me? Please don't make me laugh." Sabrina chuckled "I could never be jealous of someone like you, I got the man and I got the money."
What the fuck is wrong with this girl? I barely said anything to her and she's attacking me for no reason.
Vincent began walking over "Don't say anything to him unless you want to lose your job and become homeless again."
"How's everything going over here? are you two getting along?" He asked.
"Yeah baby." Sabrina smiled.
I opened my mouth to say something then stopped, no matter how bad I wanted to let him know about Sabrina, I needed this money more than anything.
"I'm glad you both are getting along well." Vincent pulled his shirt off and jumped into the pool.
"Join me." He said to Sabrina.
She took her glasses off and set them on the side, she hopped into the pool with him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Uh, i'm gonna go." I stood and grabbed my things and walked back inside.
Now she gave me a reason to dislike her even more. She fucked with the wrong one.
**********************************
It was about an hour later, I was waiting in the living room for Sam to arrive. She was gonna be here in a couple minutes, I haven't seen her in a week so I was excited. I watched as the cab pulled up outside, I ran outside as she stepped out.
"Hey!" I pulled her into a hug.
"Hey, I missed you!" She tightly hugged me.
"I missed you too." I smiled. "Let's go." I grabbed her hand and we walked back inside.
"First, I just wanna say, this house is everything!"
"I know!" I laughed. "I'll show you around."
I showed her around the kitchen, living room, laundry room, bathrooms, and my bedroom.
She dropped her bag onto my bed "Vincent has this big house for what? It's literally only him and his daughter living here."
"You know how rich people are, they just wanna show that they have money."
"True." She dug into her bag "But I thought we were getting in the pool, why are you dressed?"
"Vincent and his girlfriend are out there, so I decided to come inside."
"So what, why can't we be out there with them?"
I didn't wanna tell Sam about Sabrina disrespecting me, because I know if I did then she would say something to Sabrina. She's very overprotective of me and I love her for that, but I don't want her to jeopardize anything for me.
"I just don't feel like it anymore. We can stay in my room and watch some TV or something."
"Oh no, I wanna go meet Vincent so put your swimsuit back on and we're going out there. I called off work and came over here for a good time, so that's what we're gonna do."
"Okay, fine."
She grabbed her swimsuit and walked into my bathroom, she came out a minute later changed. I changed back into my swimsuit then led her outside.
Sabrina was laid back on one of the chairs relaxing, Vincent was nowhere to be found.
"Let's go chat with her." Sam grabbed my arm.
"No, I don't want to."
"Why not?"
"I just don't wanna."
She could tell something was bothering me, I could never keep a secret from her or hide my feelings from her.
"Did something happen?"
"No."
"Maya, stop lying to me. If something happened then you can tell me."
"Okay fine, but promise me you won't say or do anything."
"I promise."
"Okay, well Sabrina and I got off to a bad start. She was questioning me about my intentions, basically said I'm only here for the money and to mooch off of Vincent; Which is not true. She's just one of those stuck up prissy bitches that I don't like."
"Hmm." She looked towards Sabrina "And what did you say back to her?"
"I told her that I'm not here to mooch off of him and I don't know why she's being a bitch, and she just kept attacking me. Obviously I haven't told Vincent because she told me that she would get me fired, Sam, please don't say anything because I've only been working here for a short amount of time and I really love this job. I need this job."
Vincent walked back out the house, he saw me with a friend so he walked over.
"Hello. I'm Vincent, and you are?" He held his hand out.
"I'm Sam." She shook his hand "You are very handsome."
"Thank you." He smiled.
"You told me that I could invite friends over so I hope this is okay."
"Yeah, it's fine. This is your home now too."
"I've done a lot of research on you and from what I found you're sweet, and charming; and that smile is mesmerizing." Sam smiled at him.
I can't believe she was really flirting with him right now.
He chuckled "Thank you, that's kind."
"Of course. So, are you single?"
"I'm not. That's my girlfriend sitting over there." He pointed to Sabrina who was now walking over to us.
"Oh, that sucks."
"You must be a friend of Maya's, I'm Sabrina."
"I'm Sam, Maya's best friend."
"Hmm. Well, I and Vincent will go and leave you two alone." She grabbed his arm and pulled him inside the house.
"I can already tell I'm not gonna like her, just because she tried you."
"Let's forget about her and just have some fun."
Me and Sam hopped into the pool, we swam around and dunked each other into the water. We spent the next hour in the pool catching up on things and just having a good time.
