epilogue
Epilogue (Aron's POV)
A few months later
Candles, check.
Roses, check.
Wine, check.
Music, check.
I think I have it all set for our 6 months anniversary.
At least I hope so.
Let me bring you up to speed.
Rachel and Mason got married a month ago.
I was Mason's best man and Becky was Rahel's maid of honor.
Then a week ago, Rachel gave birth to a beautiful little angel.
They named her Rebecka after the most brilliant and beautiful woman, my woman.
Ana still didn't tell me about her reasons for quitting college.
But I would find out sooner or later.
She wanted to study since we were little kids, so for her to quit, it had to be something huge.
I knew Becky was in on the secret, but I didn't want to put her in a difficult position so I didn't even ask about details.
She was as loyal to Ana as she was to Rachel and lately Vicky.
Those four were getting into trouble at every turn.
But neither I nor Mason really minded.
All four of them were happy and that's all that mattered at the end of the day.
There was also something going on with Vicky, but she wasn't willing to share either.
And the main concern for the past few months. Margareth. We had no idea where she was, but I was sure she was planning something awful and evil. But I guess we would just have to wait for her to approach any of us.
But right now I had my focus on one woman alone.
My Becky.
Just when she popped into my mind she also popped into her house.
"Honey. I am home!"
She was my official assistant now and I had some difficulties preparing my surprise without her knowing.
But still, I managed.
So now I was standing in our living room, surrounded by red petals all over the floor, with a huge bouquet of roses in my hands and I was down on one knee.
She finally came around the corner and when she saw me, she dropped her purse and keys on the floor while her hands flew to her mouth.
"Becky, you know I am no good with romantic gestures, but I tried my best. And now I am asking you. Would you do me the honor and become my wife?"
My question barely left my lips when she already managed to tackle me to the ground.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! I love you so much!"
I chuckled at her and managed to put a bit of space between us, so I could put a ring on her finger.
It looked good and made me feel proud.
When I looked at her I could see she was deep in thought.
And I feared she was second-guessing her decision about marrying me.
But a second later she lifted her head and gave me her beautiful smile before she answered my unspoken question.
"I was just wondering when did my life change so much. I am the happiest woman alive right now, but just a few months ago I was JUST ANOTHER MODEL."
Oh, dear Becky. If only you knew how much more than just another model you truly are.
