All I want for Christmas is you...
Chapter 1 (Ana's POV)
It's been a month since Aron and Becky got married and today they are finally returning from their honeymoons.
I can't wait to see them both.
Sure I missed my brother like crazy, but I also missed my sister-in-law, maybe even more, since I never managed to build friendships with females until Becky.
Well, technically that's a little lie.
I and Vicky were friends since childhood, but she had her own business to run and I hated to bug her with my problems all the time.
So I sometimes gulped down my problems.
And lately, it's starting to get overwhelming.
All these problems and I always kept quiet about them. Now they started to come to the surface.
So a few months ago I admitted to Rachel and Becky about my ex-boyfriend.
At least I think that's what I should call him.
Well, let's start from the beginning ok?
So his name is Will, short for William.
His name should give him away ,right?
But stupid me, I didn't put one and one together.
So we hit it off in our first year at college.
I managed to get to the third year, there were only a few finals left and I would get my business degree.
But one day on campus, while I was on a cloud from all the happiness inside of me a woman approached me.
She looked intimidating just by looking at her outfit.
It was like she dressed for a fashion show rather than a visit at a college campus.
But hey I don't judge.
After all Becky was an ex model that still loved her fashion and out-shoned everyone on almost every occasion.
But what Becky never possessed was the arrogance with which this woman carried herself.
Like she was above everyone here.
I might be here just because my brother dearest helped me with expanses, but since then I managed to make some major improvements for myself. We will come back to this a bit later.
So back to the story.
She approached me, looking down on me, insulting me just with her look.
But then she had to open her mouth and shit on my parade.
She told me William JUNIOR (!!!) had an arranged marriage. Yes you guessed correctly. She was his bride to be.
When I didn't believe her right away, she showed me their wedding invitations and it took me all my strength to now break down in front of her.
It was embarrassing enough that I had to hear that news from her and not my supposed boyfriend, I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing me cry.
So instead I gave her a saccharine smile, told her to enjoy her marriage and walked away, leaving her with her mouth wide open staring at my retreating back.
A few days later I packed my bags and left college.
Thank God I was in the good books with my professors and they wouldn't allow me to quit just like that.
So we managed to make a plan.
I would have my final exams from home and so far it went amazing.
I had my last exam today and already received my results. It was 100% like all the rest. So now I was done with school and could finally start my business.
But to get there I needed help from my best friend and sister-in-law.
So that's how I ended up at the airport waiting for my brother and his wife.
I was starting to get worried when everyone from their plane already exited, but they were nowhere in sight.
But suddenly they emerged from the bathrooms, together.
Becky's hair was a bit messy and I didn't have to be a genius to know what they were doing, so as soon as I saw them I started laughing.
Becky started blushing, but my brother just stretched his proud grin even wider.
Damn but they were perfect for each other.
As soon as they were in arms reach I pulled them into a hug.
"I've missed you, you horny teenagers."
Becky was as red as a tomato at my words and a giggle escaped me.
"Stop it Ana! It's not my fault your brother corrupted my innocence."
Sure, she tried to be serious, but as soon as our eyes met we both burst into laughter.
"It's so good to have you both back. Now tell me all about your vacation and then I have a business proposition for you."
Aron looked shocked at my words.
"Wait. You have a business proposition for my wife, but you don't want to be in any connection with your brother?"
I gave him a smile, because I knew he just wanted the best for me. But I never allowed him. I wanted to build my business with my own hands, from bottom just like he did with his company.
And we had the same stubborn genes so I knew I would succeed one day.
"Aron, you know I appreciate your help, but you also know I want to build my success on my own."
His shoulders slumped at my words like he was defeated but I knew he understood.
On the other hand Becky was practically bursting from excitement urging me on to tell her more.
"Ok,ok, calm down woman! So, my business is a make -up shop. All my products are made without any additives, only flowers, plants, their extracts etc. You could call it bio I guess. Now I need someone for my promotion campaign and I was wondering if you would be willing to help me as being my main model for products?"
Her smile right now could light up the whole London and the next moment she was hugging me so tightly I was barely able to breath.
"Oh my God. Of course I will. I am so proud of you and we will make the best team. I will also bring Rachel on board to help out with phone calls and any paperwork."
She was rambling and making plans and I didn't mind even one bit.
It was amazing to have my best friend next to me in this early stage of my business.
And we would be able to launch the first products before Christmas with their help.
What more could a girl ask for as far as Christmas wishes go.
Oh yes. I could think of one thing.
Or rather a person.
Because even after almost 6 months away from Will I still missed him and my heart ached each time I thought about him.
So yes there was one more wish I had.
I thought about him when I looked into the cloudy sky of London and thought to myself: "All I want for Christmas is you."
