Chapter 2853 Why Does My Wife Follow Me Every Day? 12
Standing at the entrance of the coffee shop was a young man who looked to be in his early twenties. He was quite tall, with very short hair, and looked quite energetic.
He was waving this way, a bright smile on his face.
Jin Chen was somewhat surprised to see him. She raised an eyebrow, opened the car door, and got out.
"Why did you come here? Didn't you say you were busy today?"
“That’s what you’re saying,” Feng Qiu laughed. “Only a fool wouldn’t make money, especially since it’s your business.”
"I brought you all the new Geisha, Mandheling and Yirgacheffe varieties that arrived. The quality is absolutely top-notch!"
As he spoke, he glanced to the other side, saw Yun Jian, paused for a moment, then nodded to Yun Jian, "And this is?"
"This is Mr. Yun, the owner of the flower shop," Jin Chen introduced simply. "This is Feng Qiu, my friend."
Yun Jianchao nodded to Feng Qiu with a gentle and polite smile, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Shall we go now?" Feng Qiu asked Jin Chen. "I just came out of the warehouse."
Jin Chen glanced at the time, then turned to Yun Jian, "I'm going to pick up a newly ordered batch of coffee beans. Feng Qiu works for the supplier and will deliver them here specially."
"Go back and rest first, I'll be back soon."
His tone softened again, unlike when he was speaking to Feng Qiu earlier.
Yun Jian's fingers secretly clenched her sleeves at her side. She looked up at Jin Chen, her expectations and romantic thoughts shattered.
Why... can't you just look at me?
I was so happy being alone today. The sun was shining, the food was delicious, the wine was great, and most importantly, Jinchen was wonderful.
He smiled at him so many times and even patted his head... Why did someone else have to appear at this crucial moment?
Ke Yunjian dared not show the slightest sign of anything amiss.
He didn't even dare to reveal his bitterness and dissatisfaction; his smile was flawless. "Okay, be careful on the road."
Yun Jian stood at the entrance of the flower shop, watching Jin Chen drive up and follow Feng Qiu's car.
The car drove away and disappeared around the street corner.
Yun Jian's smile slowly faded.
He stood there for a while before turning around and going into the flower shop.
Tan Quan peeked out from the flower shop entrance.
Taking advantage of Jin Chen's absence, he tried to sneak over to find Song Cun again. When he saw Yun Jian, he was stunned for a moment. Perhaps feeling guilty, he immediately shrank his neck and looked around.
But Yun Jian had no interest in paying attention to him at all.
Tan Quan scratched his head, somewhat puzzled.
But he quickly put that doubt behind him and moved closer to Songcun, who was arranging the newly arrived flowers. "Hey, Songcun, want to go out and play? I still have lots of gold bars! I'll take you to buy some delicious food!"
Song Cun continued with his work, but sighed helplessly and gently nudged Tan Quan, who was almost pressed against him, with his elbow, "I'm not going."
After several days of relentless pursuit, Song Cun's attitude towards Tan Quan softened a little.
"Alright then," Tan Quan said, undeterred, and instead leaned even closer, saying mysteriously, "We'll keep it a secret, we won't tell anyone! I'll go bring you back something delicious! Wait for me!"
After saying that, before Songcun could react, it ran off like a big dog, disappearing in a flash, no one knew where it was going to scavenge for food.
Songcun watched his disappearing figure, shook his head, and continued tidying the bouquet in his hands, but the corners of his mouth curved slightly.
-
The second floor of the flower shop.
The living room remained exactly as it was before he left. A clean blanket was laid on the sofa, a newly bought teacup was placed on the coffee table, and new green plants had been installed on the windowsill.
He had arranged all of this in the morning, thinking that if Jin Chen came up and sat down, he would be able to see it.
How could you do this?
Yun Jian walked to the sofa, picked up the black jacket that was folded and placed there, covered himself with the jacket, and curled up on the sofa.
He buried his face deep in the fabric of his coat, breathing almost suffocatingly.
The faint scent that once belonged to Jin Chen became his only solace.
But it's not enough.
Not enough, not enough.
Far from enough.
Mingming Jinchen patted his head, looked at him with such gentle eyes, and even asked him out to dinner...
Why is it that you can so naturally talk to others and leave with them as soon as you turn your head?
Who is this Feng Qiu?
How long have he known Jin Chen?
Why could he pat Jin Chen's shoulder so familiarly?
Yun Jian was restless and anxious, his fingertips constantly fiddling with the zipper of his coat, the teeth marks leaving bloody marks on his fingertips.
The rabbit hopped out of its burrow, approached his feet, and nudged him with its nose.
"Chi chi chi chi!"
Yun Jian didn't move, but hugged the coat in his arms tighter, his voice lower and more obsessive, "It's not that I don't allow him to have friends... I just want to see him. Today should have been mine."
They only ate breakfast and lunch together, wasting an entire morning.
Logically, they should have the whole afternoon together, and in the evening, he could turn into a rabbit again and naturally enter Jin Chen's bedroom to occupy his bed and embrace. That's how it should be.
Jin Chen's eyes were so beautiful that even when she looked at people without any emotion, she still seemed affectionate.
His lips are so perfectly shaped and look so soft... Why can't we taste them today?
The more Yun Jian thought about it, the more indignant he became.
He opened his eyes, his pupils almost turning red, and there was an overwhelming surge of emotions in his eyes that he couldn't suppress.
The two rabbits were still chirping, their voices tinged with urgency, as if they were trying to remind someone of something.
But Yun Jian was no longer listening.
He got up, walked to the wardrobe, took out a pair of sunglasses and put them on, then changed into a dark coat and turned up the collar.
“I didn’t mean to spy on him.”
Yun Jian corrected Rabbit again, his tone stubborn, "I'm just going to take a look."
"Can't I even look? That doesn't make sense."
He thought to himself, "I've already been very restrained."
According to the methods of those orcs in the underground arena, Jin Chen should already be in his bed by now, locked tightly by his side, with only him in her eyes.
But that doesn't mean he can't use his own methods to get close to and protect his treasures.
The two rabbits stared at him speechlessly, then turned and hopped away, too lazy to bother with him anymore.
Yun Jian put on sunglasses and went downstairs.
As soon as I got to the first floor, I heard a commotion outside.
He pushed open the flower shop door and saw Tan Quan jump out of the coffee shop window.
The two men met each other.
Tan Quan was startled. He was holding a bulging backpack in his arms and looked like a dog acting suspiciously.
Yun Jian glanced at him, said nothing, and walked straight toward the street corner.
Tan Quan breathed a sigh of relief, scratched his head, and muttered, "That scared me to death."
Then, carrying his bag, he disappeared in a flash.
Yun Jian didn't care at all what Tan Quan was doing.
He didn't even know why Jin Chen kept such a noisy and disruptive dog.
Isn't raising rabbits a good idea?
His mind is now filled with thoughts of Jin Chen, where Jin Chen and that Feng Qiu went, and what they were doing.
Yun Jian walked to the street corner, hailed a taxi, and gave the address of Feng Qiu's warehouse.
That was something I found out while investigating Jin Chen.
In the car, Yun Jian leaned against the window, his face mostly hidden by sunglasses.
He took out his phone and brought up a tracking interface. There was a small locator that he had secretly installed in Jin Chen's car, hidden in a gap in the chassis.
The red dot is moving on the map, heading towards the outskirts of the city.
Yun Jian stared at the red dot, tapping his fingers lightly on his knee.
