Chapter 1513 Worry
Morgans took a deep breath, tried to calm his thoughts, and continued to stare at the men in front of him.
His gaze was as sharp as a torch, as if it could penetrate their hearts. However, after looking for a long time, he did not find any flaws on anyone's face.
"Since no one is willing to stand up and admit it, then, Alan." Morgan's voice was low and majestic, breaking the silence in the room.
Hearing Morgans's cry, Allen immediately responded and walked over. Behind him followed a group of men, each holding a pair of seastone handcuffs, obviously to prevent these people from escaping during the process of being taken away.
The editors all looked a little nervous when they saw this, but they still stood there obediently, waiting to be handcuffed.
Morgans's eyes never left these people. He carefully observed their every move, trying to catch any signs of resistance from their subtle expressions and body language.
However, to his disappointment, these people behaved extremely submissively from beginning to end and showed no intention of resisting.
Morgans couldn't help but wonder, "Am I really wrong? Or are they just too good at disguising themselves?"
Everyone was put in cold handcuffs. Allen slowly turned around and stared at Morgans with sharp eyes.
"What should we do now?" Alan's voice was low and serious, revealing a hint of anxiety.
Morgans frowned slightly, and after a moment of silence, he answered decisively: "Take them away."
"Okay." Allen responded and quickly left the scene with his men.
Morgans stood there, stroking his chin thoughtfully, as if weighing something.
At this moment, the sound of Den Den Mushi suddenly came from the room. It was a unique "Bulu Bulu Bulu" sound, breaking the original silence.
"I hope it's not the captain looking for me..." Morgans prayed silently in his heart. He walked into the room hesitantly and glanced at the Den Den Mushi on the table, only to find that it was not ringing.
However, when his gaze shifted to the shelf at the back, he was surprised to find that one of the Den Den Mushi was ringing non-stop, as if urging him to answer it.
"Why did Mori look for me?" Morgans muttered to himself, feeling confused.
He walked over quickly, took the ringing Den Den Mushi off the shelf, and then answered the call.
"Hello?" Morgans' voice was a little nervous.
"Morgans, I have something to talk to you about." Mori's voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Oh? What's the matter?" Morgans calmed down and asked.
"I want you to help me find out the current intelligence of the army and the revolutionary army." Mori's tone seemed casual.
"Army?" Morgan's voice suddenly rose an octave, almost shouting. He immediately felt a sense of vigilance, wondering if Morrie was deliberately testing him.
"Yes, I received news that the army and the revolutionary army are fighting, but I am worried about the accuracy of this news, so I want to ask you for help." Mori said seriously, with a hint of anxiety in his voice.
Mori knew the importance of this war. If the news was true, it would be a world-shaking conflict. He had to find out the truth in order to make the right decision.
Morgans frowned after hearing Mori's words. He also realized the seriousness of the news and secretly pondered how to deal with this situation.
"Okay, I'll find out as soon as possible." Morgans agreed without hesitation. He knew that he had a heavy responsibility.
Satisfied with Morgans' answer, Mori said gratefully, "Then I'll leave it to you," and hung up the Den Den Mushi.
Morgans let out a sigh of relief after putting down the Den Den Mushi. He knew his next mission wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to give it his all and live up to Mori's trust.
At this moment, Alan walked in slowly, his steps seemed a little heavy.
"What should we do with those guys? Do we really have to send them to Captain Enel?" Alan frowned and asked worriedly.
"Of course we can't send it over!" Morgans answered without hesitation. "Let's not even talk about what will happen to those guys. Just think about us. If we bother the Thunder God over such a small matter, once he gets angry, he will definitely punish us severely."
Alan couldn't help but shudder, "I don't want to be electrocuted like a roasted chicken!" He said with a wry smile, while subconsciously touching his body.
Morgans seemed amused by Allen's words. He chuckled softly and began to stroke his feathers, as if thinking about something. After a while, he finally said, "How about this, lock them up for a few days and see if they reveal any flaws."
Alan nodded in agreement.
"Also, I have something else I need you to do with me." Morgans said suddenly.
"What's the matter?" Alan asked curiously.
"Let's talk while we walk." Morgans smiled mysteriously, then turned and walked towards the door.
The two men walked out of the news agency while talking. A moment later, a huge golden eagle appeared in front of Morgans.
"Come up."
Allen said.
Morgans jumped on it, and Alan spread his wings and flew high, carrying Morgans on his back and quickly rushed into the sky.
After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Mori hummed a little tune happily and walked briskly to find Katakuri.
Katakuri was in a dessert shop at the moment. In front of him was a huge bowl filled with a variety of donuts, which made people salivate. Katakuri was eating these delicious donuts in big mouthfuls, completely immersed in the world of food.
Mori walked into the dessert shop and saw Katakuri at first sight. He walked straight up to Katakuri and asked with a smile, "Why are you here?"
Katakuri, his mouth full of donuts, replied vaguely, "I'm hungry, looking for something to eat." As he spoke, he continued to stuff donuts into his mouth, and from time to time he glanced at Mori out of the corner of his eye.
Mori couldn't help laughing as he watched Katakuri wolfing down his food. He sat down opposite Katakuri and looked at the donuts in the bowl. Suddenly, he felt a little hungry too. So, he reached out his hand and wanted to take a donut to try.
However, just when his hand was about to touch the donut, with a "pop!", Katakuri suddenly slapped Mori's hand away.
Mori was a little dazed by this sudden blow. He looked at Katakuri and said dissatisfiedly: "What are you doing?"
Katakuri, still chewing a donut, said incoherently, "Go find some food yourself. This is mine."
Mori curled his lips helplessly, secretly cursing Katakuri for being stingy. However, he didn't insist any further, but instead extended his hand to the men around him, asking them to bring some food.
"It will take some time for Morgans to find out the information. You can contact Baot later and ask him to tell you all the information he has." Katakuri said slowly, his voice low and powerful, as if every word was carefully considered.
