Chapter 1515: God's Knight Support
On the Woya battlefield and the island of Kalundo, the air was filled with smoke and flames of war.
"Everyone, push forward!" The army commander raised his sword high and shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing amidst the hail of bullets. Upon hearing the order, the soldiers shouted in unison and charged forward like surging waves.
"Bang, bang, bang!" The dense sound of gunfire and artillery explosions intertwined, deafening. Bullets rained down like raindrops, and artillery shells blasted huge craters on the ground, stirring up billowing clouds of dust.
"Everyone hold on, we must not let the army break through the defense line!" The commanders of the revolutionary army ran around the battlefield and shouted, encouraging the soldiers to resist tenaciously.
"Beat them back!" The soldiers of the revolutionary army did not retreat. They used their lives and blood to build an indestructible line of defense and fought a desperate battle with the enemy.
The entire battlefield was shrouded in artillery fire and smoke, as if the end of the world had come.
Inside the army's temporary headquarters, the atmosphere was tense and solemn. Marshal Kettley sat at the conference table, his right arm wrapped in a thick bandage, apparently injured in the battle.
An intelligence officer hurried into the conference room and handed Kettley a copy of the latest battle report. The marshal took it, glanced through it, and nodded.
"Well done." His voice was deep and powerful. "Notify the frontline headquarters to maintain the offensive. Don't give the revolutionary army a chance to breathe. We must take down their headquarters as soon as possible!"
"Yes! I'll go back and contact the front-line command." The intelligence officer responded hurriedly, then turned and left like the wind, disappearing at the door in the blink of an eye.
Kettley watched the intelligence officer's back and breathed a sigh of relief. He took a deep breath and tried to stand up, but suddenly felt a heaviness in his right arm, as if it was restrained by something.
"Damn Dorag!" Kettley cursed softly, his face instantly darkening. He gritted his teeth, used his left arm to support his body, and struggled to stand up from the desk.
Kately slowly walked out of the desk and stretched his body, only to find that his body was tightly wrapped in thick bandages.
Kately couldn't help but frown and cursed Dorag in his heart.
Kettley trudged out of the conference room and into the hallway.
He stopped and looked out the window at the warships constantly docking and sailing, his eyes a little confused.
These warships shuttled across the sea, busy and orderly, as if forming a sharp contrast with his mood at the moment.
Just as Kately was in a daze, a voice sounded behind him: "Marshal, Mariyat's people are coming."
Kately turned around slowly and saw Bedam standing not far away, followed by three people wearing the coats of the Knights of God.
"Who are you?" Kately asked puzzledly, looking at the three strangers.
Boru, who was standing at the front, stepped forward and introduced himself: "We are here to support you." His voice was low and powerful, revealing confidence and decisiveness.
Katelyn's expression softened slightly upon hearing this. After all, in such a difficult time, having someone to support you is always a good thing.
"Saint Satan really does what he says." Kately exclaimed, praising Saint Satan for his trustworthiness.
"The king ordered me to convey a message to you." Boru had no expression on his face and spoke in a cold tone, as if this was just a routine matter.
"What?" Hearing this, Katelyn frowned slightly, his eyes fixed on Beru in front of him, as if he would take action if his words did not satisfy him.
"Destroy the revolutionary army and he will give you the greatest support." This sentence was said very bluntly without any concealment.
After listening to this, Kately was silent for a moment, then nodded slowly.
A rare smile appeared on his face. Everyone agreed on this point, which was very rare!
"Don't worry, I'm more anxious about this than he is." Kately's voice was calm and firm. Killing Dorag was his obsession, and this would not change.
"Bedam, please make some arrangements and let them know the current situation." Kately turned to Bedam who was standing aside and said.
"Okay, Marshal." Bedam responded respectfully, then turned to carry out the order.
"Come with me, I will show you our results." Bedam said to Boru and the other two, then walked towards the meeting room.
Boru and the other two looked at each other, then followed him into the meeting room.
At this time, Kately was standing alone by the window of the conference room, staring quietly down, wondering what he was thinking.
His figure seemed somewhat lonely and desolate in the sunlight.
In the revolutionary army headquarters, the atmosphere was extremely solemn. Ivankov was like an ant on a hot pan, pacing back and forth in the room, looking restless.
Crow sat quietly by the window, his chest wrapped in thick bandages. He held a Den Den Mushi tightly in his hand and was having an intense conversation with the person on the other end of the line.
The other three captains were also sitting in chairs, all of them covered in bandages, clearly injured. Mori appeared to be relatively less injured, but his expression was equally gloomy.
At this moment, the whole room was shrouded in a depressing atmosphere. No one spoke, only the sound of Ivankov's pacing and the conversation between Crow and Den Den Mushi.
Suddenly, Betty couldn't help it. She bit her cigarette hard, a fierce look on her face, and shouted at Ivankov: "Ivankov, can you please stop for a moment? You're turning around like this, and I'm almost dizzy!"
Ivankov stopped walking when he heard Betty's words. He walked straight up to her, his eyes wide open, and said excitedly, "What else can I do if I don't turn around? You know the current situation. The enemy's forces are obviously much larger than ours, and we have no idea what their weapons are. Give me some advice. What should we do?"
His voice was almost a roar, and his shouting echoed throughout the room.
Betty's face, which had turned red due to being yelled at, suddenly darkened and became as black as the bottom of a pot. She stood up suddenly, emitting a strong anger from her whole body, as if she was about to hit someone in the next second.
Mori, standing nearby, was startled upon seeing this and quickly shouted, "Everyone, calm down! Right now, the most important thing we should do is find a way to solve the problem, not argue endlessly here!"
Hearing Mori's words, Ivankov and Betty sighed at the same time. They looked at each other and saw helplessness and anxiety in each other's eyes.
At this moment, Crow hung up the Den Den Mushi and walked over quickly. His face was solemn as he said, "I just contacted the countries I helped before, and they all promised to send soldiers to support us."
Upon hearing this news, a glimmer of hope appeared on the faces of the people who had been frowning. However, Betty's face was still hesitant. She said hesitantly, "Borrowing troops from other countries? I'm afraid the commander-in-chief won't agree..."
However, before she could finish her words, Crow immediately said, "I have reported this to the commander-in-chief, and he agreed to this plan."
