Chapter 752 Two People Parted Ways
Captain America, who was kneeling on the ground, looked up at Tony and gasped, "He's my friend!"
Tony said calmly, "I was the same!"
[Then he raised his fist and hit Captain America's head repeatedly.]
[A few punches knocked Captain America to the ground, causing him to cough violently several times.]
[Tony grabs Captain America's shoulder straps and throws him backwards. Captain America hits a pillar and falls to the ground.]
[Tony looks at Captain America, "Don't get up! This is the last warning!"]
Even though he was extremely tired, Captain America still managed to stand up, took a stance, and said his classic quote to Tony, "I can spend the whole day with you!"
Tony slowly raises his arm, and the palm cannon begins to charge, but Bucky suddenly grabs his foot.
He immediately turned around and kicked Bucky in the face, but Captain America took advantage of his distraction and grabbed Tony from behind and lifted him up.
[Tony immediately activated his thrusters and tried to break free, but Captain America didn't give him a chance and slammed him to the ground.]
Then he pounced on him and punched Tony's face madly, even picking up a shield and hitting him hard.
[Under his attack, the Mark 46's facial armor was quickly broken, revealing Tony's face.]
[Captain America raises his shield high, and Tony quickly shields his face with his arms.]
【But Captain America smashed down on the reactor in his chest. 】
[Under this blow, Tony's reactor immediately lost its function, and the light on it became extremely dim.]
[Captain America gasped and looked at Tony. His face was covered in blood, and he had obviously suffered a lot of injuries in the battle.]
[Without the reactor, Tony's Mark 46 instantly turned into scrap metal, and most of its functions were unusable.]
[Captain America sat down for a few seconds, then pulled out the shield that was plugged into the reactor.]
[He helped Bucky up and carried him out.]
Tony said, "That shield doesn't belong to you! You don't deserve it! My father made it!"
[Captain America paused for a moment, then dropped his shield to the ground and helped the Winter Soldier away.]
Tony watched them leave, spat out a mouthful of blood in frustration, then slowly sat up from his knees and glanced at the discarded shield.
"Ah! So this is why Tony was so hesitant later! He and Captain completely fell out! Fortunately, such a terrible thing didn't happen here!"
Scott shrugged his shoulders, looking relieved.
Captain America glanced at Bucky and couldn't help but feel fortunate that Bucky had told Tony the truth directly after seeing him, so he didn't have to hide it from Tony.
"The Avengers were disbanded by this guy Zemo. How will Tony and the others deal with Thanos' attack? Is this the reason for their early defeat? Fighting on their own and then being defeated one by one?"
Eggyhead narrowed his eyes in thought. Hill's words made sense. This possibility was not impossible! It was even very likely!
Because Vision disappeared, Tony tried to contact Captain America, but who knows what the situation is with Captain America? And Strange is not very reliable!
Thinking of this, Egghead looked at him silently. He would never forget that Strange, under the instigation of Spider-Man, directly used the Oblivion Spell and caused a lot of trouble.
Even the scene in the final scene where Strange goes to seek Wanda's help is related to this incident.
They still haven't figured out what kind of trouble the future Strange is in, and why he specifically goes to Wanda for help. After all, the Wanda on the dome didn't become a disciple of the Ancient One.
There is also the person who looks extremely similar to Strange and is most likely his counterpart in the parallel universe, and what the broken world is, they have not figured out yet.
They also investigated the Westview Town that Wanda mentioned. It was a very ordinary town. Because of Wanda's words, it even became a popular tourist attraction for a while.
After all, there are always people in this world who are not afraid of death and want to explore certain things.
Lu Dantou couldn't help rubbing his eyebrows. There was too much information and he had no idea what to do. He hadn't been able to sleep well over the years and looked three points older than the original author.
As for the matter of the Skrulls, he spent a lot of effort to finally resolve the crisis of trust within the top government. Although the Skrulls were not expelled, they were also prohibited from leaving a fixed area.
Each Skrull was equipped with a unique positioning shackle, and Tony assured him that this thing was absolutely reliable.
“Eat at 8am and 5pm! You can go to the bathroom twice a day!”
[Zemo was locked in a sealed glass case. Commander Everett walked in and stood in front of him.]
"Speak loudly! I'll shock you! Hit the glass! I'll shock you! If you dare to do anything out of line, I'll punish you! Please, give it a try!"
【Zemo remained silent.】
Everett looked at him and said, "So? How do you feel? Spent so much time! Put in so much effort! And in the end... failed! A complete failure!"
Zemo finally raised his head, his lips curled up slightly, "Failed?"
Everett watched his expression, and the smile on his face gradually faded.
[Even on the other side, Tony drove his supercar back to the Avengers base in upstate.]
[As he got off the car, he looked at the Avengers logo on the building and was silent for a while.]
Inside the base, Vision sat silently in a chair, playing with the chess pieces in his hands, wondering what he was thinking.
Tony stayed with Rhodes and tested the function of the mechanical prosthesis installed on him.
"This is just a first test! Give me feedback! Anything you can think of! Shock absorption! Lateral movement!"
[He half-jokingly said, "Coffee stand?"]
Rod quips, "Maybe you should consider installing air conditioning down there!"
But as he moved forward, he lost his grip on the pole and fell to the ground.
Tony quickly squatted down and looked at him with concern, "Les, go! I'll pull you up!"
Rod refused: "No! No! Don't! Don't help me! Don't help me!"
He leaned on the ground, took two deep breaths, turned around and sat on the ground, looking at Tony and smiling.
[Then there was another moment of silence before he spoke: "One hundred and thirty-eight times! One hundred and thirty-eight combat missions!"]
"I flew one hundred and thirty-eight combat missions, Tony! Every time I flew, I might not have returned, but I went anyway! Because it was a fight that had to be fought!"
