Chapter 753: The End of Captain America 3
Tony listened to what Rhodes said silently.
"Same thing with the Agreement! I signed it because it was the right thing to do! This is just awful! So unlucky! But it doesn't change my mind! I don't think so!"
Tony looked at him and stretched out a hand. Rod put his hand on it and Tony pulled it up. "You okay?"
"Oh! Yeah!"
[Just then, there was a knock on the door. The two turned their heads and saw a familiar old man knocking on the glass door with a delivery box.]
"Are you Tony the Shithead?"
Rod raised his head and said with a smile, "Yes! He's Tony the Shithead! You've come to the right place! Thank you so much!"
Tony looked at Rhodes helplessly and shook his head. "How could he still be in the mood to joke after all this?"
Rod put his arm around Tony's shoulder and said, "I'm going to use this for the rest of my life!"
"Oh! My God!" Tony turned his head away speechlessly and scratched the back of his head.
Rhode leaned against the railing and continued practicing his prosthetic limbs, saying, "One person's table! Mr. Shithead! Sit by the toilet!"
【Tony couldn't help laughing when he heard his words.】
[The scene changes, Tony tears open the express box, there is a letter inside, he sits on a chair and opens it, it is from Captain America.]
"Tony! I'm so glad you're back at the base! I didn't want you hanging around the mansion alone! We all need family! The Avengers belong to you! Maybe more than to me!"
"I've been on my own since I was eighteen! I've never really fit in! Not even in the military! I think I trust people! I believe in individuals! And! I'm glad! Most of the time, they don't let me down!"
[In the isolated island prison, Wanda sat in the cell with lifeless eyes, Scott was beating the chair as if it were a drum set, Patton was lying on the bed, and Falcon Sam was pacing back and forth, wanting to know what happened to Tony and Captain America!]
[In the control center, soldiers were lying on the ground in a mess. It was obvious that they had been invaded.]
“So I can’t let them down! The lock can be changed! But maybe I shouldn’t! I know I hurt your heart, Tony! I probably thought I was being considerate of your feelings by not telling you about your parents! But…”
"But now I understand, I was only thinking about myself! And I'm sorry! I hope you can understand someday! I also hope we can reach an agreement on the Agreement! I mean it!"
[Tony also found a cell phone in the box, the same one he took out in Avengers 3.]
"I know you're just doing what you believe in! And that's all we can do, so we should do it!"
As he was reading Captain America's letter, Friday suddenly reminded him, "Priority call from Secretary of State Ross! The Solitary Island Prison has been broken into!"
“Yeah! Take it!”
"Tony! We're in trouble!"
"Ah! Standby!" Tony fulfilled what he had said to Ross before and asked him to standby.
[“No! Don’t…” Ross was speechless, but Tony had already hung up the phone. He had already guessed who had invaded the prison.]
[Falcon slowly turned his head, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, and saw Captain America slowly approaching.]
"So... no matter what! I promise you! If you need us! If you need me! I'll be here!"
[Tony slowly turns his head to look at the flip phone on the table.]
"Sure enough! This phone was given to Tony by Captain! That's why he carries an old flip phone with him!" Star-Lord understood.
Rocket complained, "Even an idiot can see that, okay! Quill!"
Star-Lord rolled his eyes. Rocket's personality is really hard to like!
"But didn't you notice? When Tony took it out before, the phone was fully charged! What does this mean?" Natasha supported her face with her hands and glanced at Tony.
Barton laughed and said, "Tony may talk tough, but he actually wants to reconcile with the captain all the time!"
Rhodes was immersed in the old man's words: "Tony Big Shit". He felt that this nickname would follow Tony for the rest of his life.
Tony's cheek twitched slightly when he heard this, and he inexplicably wanted to swear, but facing this ubiquitous old man, he could only bite the bullet and accept the name!
The egg-head stared at Tony and said, "From now on, when we go to the bathroom, Tony will be the first in line!"
"Hahahahaha! He's just like me, famously big!" Drax laughed out loud, causing Tony to roll his eyes at him, but he didn't know what to say to this big fool!
[The scene shows Bucky, a black medical worker bandaging his wound.]
After the medical staff left, Captain America came over and asked, "Are you sure?"
Bucky sighed, "I can't trust my own brain!" He said with a self-deprecating laugh.
"So until they figure out how to remove the brainwashing, I think continuing to sleep is the best option! It's good for everyone!"
[Captain America nodded silently. Although he felt helpless, he had to admit that this was the safest approach!]
He watched as Bucky entered a hibernation chamber in Wakanda and fell asleep.
[After Bucky fell asleep, Captain America came to the glass and looked outside in silence.]
[Black Panther T'Challa walks over.]
[Captain America glanced at him and said, "Thank you for your help!"]
[T'Challa put his hands behind his back and said calmly: "Your friend and my father! They are both victims! If I can help one of them find peace!"]
"You know! If they knew he was here, they would come and get him!"
[T'Challa looked slightly disdainful at this and looked out the window, "Then let them try!"]
[The scene follows his gaze, and a huge leopard statue appears before them.]
"Is this small African country so arrogant? They actually dared to hide Bucky? And even threatened to let Tony Stark come and try?"
Tony and others believe that it is the best option for Bucky to continue sleeping before clearing the commands in his brain, so that he doesn't have to worry about being used as a weapon again.
But T'Challa's help to Bucky and Captain America was beyond many people's expectations.
T'Chaka patted T'Challa's shoulder with great satisfaction. His son was able to maintain his sanity in the face of hatred and not be consumed by it! He was worthy of being his chosen successor!
T'Challa's choice also made him famous in Wakanda, and many tribes believed that he was a monarch who was both capable and kind-hearted.
