Dharani slap Daksh

Divya POV

"No mom. I'm not in love with her. I didn't propose her for marriage. She's not carrying my child. She's lying. She's trying to trap me. Please trust your son mom" Daksh said with innocent expression. I closed my eyes and controlled my anger.

"LIER" Suddenly, we all heard another angry voice came from the door. I opened my eyes only to see who's standing. It's Anahita with fire burning in her eyes.

"Princess, what are you saying?" Akash uncle asked her.

"Dad, he's lying, don't trust him. I saw them at your anniversary party. When we were dancing at the party, bro took her upstairs, and I followed them secretly. They walked into a room which was covered with their childhood photos. Then, he asked her to marry him, and he even gave nuptial chain to her. Suddenly, Divya noticed my shadow, so I hide myself and went downstairs " Ana said.

Oh god! That day, the mysterious shadow was none other than Ana.

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier Ana?" Pari maa asked her angrily.

"Mom, I heard bro talking to Divya. Bro said, he will talk to you about their marriage after he came from New York trip, so I just keep my mouth shut. I'm also angry at Divya because we never kept secrets with each other, so I didn't ask her anything about her love. But I never thought he would cheat on her" Ana said sadly.

Oh god! Ana knows everything. I feel very guilty now.

"I am not cheating on her, mom. In fact, she's the one cheating on me with her friend Karthik" Daksh said. He took out his mobile and played that fake proposal video of Karthik. They all looked at that video with keen eyes.

"Now tell me mom, am I a cheater? I loved her so much. Why would she hurt me so much? I gave her everything. I loved her, and this is how she repays me? She betrayed me mom" Daksh asked Pari maa with tears forming in his eyes. The irony of the situation made me want to laugh and cry at the same time. If he could trust me little, this wouldn't have happened at all.

"I trust Divya, so marry her" suddenly, Pari maa said. We all looked at her with shocked expression.

"Sorry mom, I'm not going to marry such a characterless girl" he yelled.

Suddenly, I saw Pari Maa slapped him.

Well, he deserved it completely. His face flushed, and Pari maa hand was imprinted on his face.

"You know what Daksh? I am very much satisfied with my action. I didn't know that my son will be this cruel and a disgusting person" Pari maa yelled at him.

"Angel, please calm down" uncle said.

"How can I calm down Akash? How can I? Our son made her pregnant and now he is saying that he is not willing to marry her? Our son is a cheater. Today I realized I made the biggest mistake of my life to give birth to him. I hate him, Akash" Pari maa said emotionally. Daksh looked at her with painful eyes.

"Mom please don't say like this. You're hurting me with your words. I'm not a cheater. She's carrying that bastard's child. She slept with him. I have proof. Trust m-" another slap and the sound were echoing in the entire room.

Yes, Pari maa slapped him once again.

Did he just say that? How dare him? I didn't know why his harsh and disgusting words tore me that way, but my world was shattered. This moment I have nothing but hatred towards him. I don't want to marry him and just don't want him anywhere near me. I loathe him.

"HOW DARE YOU TO SAY THOSE WORDS TO HER? HOW DARE YOU TO SPEAK WITHOUT RESPECTING TO MY DOLL? I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU ARE UTTER ANYMORE RUBBISH ABOUT MY DIVYA. YOU'RE GOING TO MARRY HER WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. DO YOU UNDERSTAND MR. DAKSH MEHRA? NOW TELL ME, YOUR ANSWER, WILL YOU MARRY HER OR NOT?" Pari maa roared at him. I, never in my life, saw her this much angry.

"Do I have a choice?" He whispered looking down.

"Good for you. Brother what's your decision? Pari maa asked my Dad.

"Whatever decision you take, I will support you, Dharani" my Dad said, looking at me with angry eyes.

"Then it's final. They are getting married next week. No more objections" Pari maa announced.

Oh god! They didn't even ask my permission if it was ok for me to marry him.

"I object. I don't want to marry him. My self respect is my first priority, and he didn't respect it. He doesn't love me like I love him. He doesn't trust me even a bit. I don't want to make a mistake by marrying him" I said stubbornly.

"Oh Divi, but you already did mistake by becoming pregnant before marriage. We have to fix the problem before the whole town knows, so you don't have a choice other than marrying my bhai " Ana said sarcastically. I looked down, ashamed of my stupid act.

"No matter what you say, I don't need that untrustworthy man near me and my baby" I said sternly.

"God! I can't digest her acting!" Daksh yelled and left the hospital room angrily. I sighed.

"Brother, Akash and Ana, please wait outside the room. I want to talk with her personally" Pari maa said in an authoritative tone. They all left us and closed the door. Pari maa took deep breath and sat beside me.

She took my hand in her and said softly, "You know what doll, love or arranged marriage, matches are made in heaven. Marriage is the biggest decision of a woman's life. Because in the long run of life, people show their true colours, and some people even change completely but true love never changes. I didn't expect Daksh to do such stupid things. I thought I raised him better" Pari maa said and stopped suddenly. She took a deep breathe before she continued.

"But I know my baby boy loves you so much. I can see it in his eyes. But unfortunately now, his anger blinded him. It blinded his heart and love. The only thing that is dominating him is his anger, possessiveness and jealousy. Please try to understand him. I know you're hurt by his words. But I know you are smart. I won't force you to marry him. I don't have the right to force you. But this society simply cannot accept a woman who is pregnant before marriage. Don't take me wrong, I'm not afraid of society and people's thoughts, but I just want you and my grandchild to be happy.

"Divya, put yourself in my place. If you had a daughter, what advice would you give her in this situation?" Pari maa asked me.

I don't know what to say. But deep inside I know I will give my daughter the same advice as Pari maa was giving me now.

"Doll, let me tell you a secret" Pari maa said, and I looked at her with curious eyes.

"Your mom, Ritika wanted Daksh to be her son in law" Pari maa said. I gasped and widened my eyes.

"Yes, it's true. In your childhood, Daksh always took good care of you. You could say he was some what possessive when it comes to you. He never let you play with other boys. He wants you all to himself. Your mom noticed all of this but I never really knew it. One day, Ritika told me her wish, do you know what her wish was? Pari maa asked me. I nodded my head in no.

"Your mom wanted you to get married to my Daksh because she knew only my son will keep you happy. But after Ritika died, Daksh, and you always fight with each other, so I didn't think about marriage" Pari maa said and tears rolled down my eyes.

"Doll, now it's your choice. Whatever is your decision, make sure you don't regret it in the future because you have your baby, and you are responsible for that innocent life too" Pari maa said sounding really concerned. I wiped my tears and nodded my head at her understandingly.

Eventually, I decided that I will make all my mom wishes come true. If marrying Daksh is one of my mom's wishes, then I will definitely marry him because my mom always knows what is best for me. I knew pari maa's advice always comes with good intention and from a pure heart.

Finally, I decided I am going to marry him!

I wiped my tears and looked at Pari maa with a determined face, "From that look on your face, I'm going to take that as a yes" Pari maa asked me as I nodded my head.

"Yes" I said with my head still down.

Suddenly, we heard the door opened. I saw my Dad, Ana and uncle entering the room with a worried face.

"Divya agreed to marry Daksh" Pari maa announced. I saw my dad, and Akash uncle let out a huge sigh of relief. Ana smiled and hugged me.

"You take good decision, Divi. But don't worry, after marriage you can make his life a living hell" She whispered in my ear and winked at me. I looked at Akash uncle. He wore an expression of guilt and worry. He looked miserable. I felt really bad.

Pari maa lifted my chin gently and kissed my forehead and saying, "Doll. I can't wait to make you my daughter in law" Pari maa said and gave me a genuine smile. I felt myself blushing.

"Awwww my sister in law is blushing" Ana teased me. It was so embarrassing.

What the hell? Why I am blushing? I think it's my pregnancy hormones.
