Chapter 20: The Aftermath
As they arrive at the limo, the driver holds the door for them so they can climb in. When they sit down, Julian is right next to her. He puts his arm around her and kisses her sweet lips. “Excuse me for interrupting but what’s your address?” The limo driver asks through the sliding window between the front seat and back.
Kelly looks at the driver, “1239 W. Brindle Lane.” He puts it into his GPS and starts the limo as Kelly calls home to let Samantha know what is going on.
On the way to their destination, Julian starts to kiss her again, but then he stops and cocks his head to ask thoughtfully, “I hope you don’t mind? I’m a very touchy-feely person. When I find someone, I like I tend to not let go. If I’m smothering, you let me know.”
“No, I love it. You can touch me as much as you want. I don’t mind at all.” She replies quietly as she starts feeling flushed.
Placing his palm on the back of her neck, he kisses her again passionately before they arrive at her house. The girls are waiting outside with Samantha. As soon as they see the limo pull up, the girls start jumping up and down. She opens the door and the girls come running.
Lilly gets in and screams. “Mom, you didn’t tell me this is Julian’s limo.” Jaime steps in and almost faints when she sees who’s next to Kelly.
Samantha pokes her head in, “Hi, nice to meet you. You guys must hurry so you are not late.” She says as she shuts the door.
The limo starts moving no more than a minute later and Julian states softly, “So, I heard that you girls just happen to be the bands biggest fans. Would you guys like these?”
He holds up the two shirts he signed earlier and adds, “I didn’t have any of the band’s shirts, so I just gave you girls two of my shirts.
“Oh my god, thank you so much!” Jaime screams as she grabs the shirt and smells it. “Mom, it smells just like him.” she yells before she screams again.
Lilly grabs hers and gives him a hug before saying shyly, “Thanks”.
The limo stops at the school but not before it pulls up out front where all the kids are standing. As soon as he rushes out of the vehicle, the chauffeur opens the door as Lilly and Jaime pop out. All the kids are staring at them and talking but stand perfectly still.
When Julian gets out and says goodbye to Kelly’s girls, all the teenage girls start screaming and running towards him. He steps back into the limo in no time and then driver shuts the door. She says to him sarcastically, “Well, that was entertaining. Did you do that to give them something to talk about for the next year?”
“Yeah, it’s fun. Now, don’t be surprised if the reporters hunt you down. When things happen like this it tends to draw a lot of attention.” He laughs as it’s no big deal. “I’m used to it. It just comes with the territory. Your girls will probably be the most popular kids in the school.” He says as he smirks, before he puts his arm around her and claims her lips as his.
“I must get back to the hotel and take care of some things. Do you want to go home or is there some place else you would like to go?” He asks thoughtfully as he kisses her again.
“I probably should go home and get a shower. It’s been fun and all but now I must get back to real life.”
“What do you mean? This is real life. You just became the girlfriend of a famous rock star. It doesn’t get any more real than this.” He kisses her again before he adds, “Even if we didn’t just hook up, the reporters would make it into it. They are good at that. Besides, I didn’t think you would mind the girls getting some publicity. It will be fun for them.” As he runs his fingers through her hair again and then licks her soft lips.
The limo pulls up at her house and stops. The driver hurries to get out and hold the door for her. Before she climbs out, Julian holds her back and states in a matter-of-fact tone of voice, “I’ll give you a call later today to see what you’re up to. Alright?”
“Yeah, sure.” She says as she smiles and then he kisses her again.
“You better go before I change my mind.” He lets go of her hand and she leaves the vehicle.
She turns around and smiles, “Bye.” Then she walks up the driveway and enters the house. The chauffeur shuts the door and then drives away.
Samantha is waiting at the kitchen table. “What the hell, was that? What happened? You must tell me everything. And why did he take the kids to school in his personal limo? Damn, you must have screwed him good!” She keeps talking without taking a breath between sentences.
She laughs and then stares at her before saying happily, “Calm down and I will tell you every little detail that your heart desires.” She sits down on the couch and relaxes.
“First of all, when I got backstage, he was nice and told me that we would be going back to the hotel for a party. I accepted and then we went. We rode to the hotel in his limo, while the band rode in the other one. When we got to the suite I looked around and asked him to “take me on a tour.” Code word for the bedroom. He pulled me inside and we had sex like he hadn’t had it in years. He was just so hungry for me and wanted to touch every inch of my skin. God, just thinking about it makes me all hot and bothered.”
She stops for a second and takes her shoes off. “I found out later that he hasn’t had anybody in years, then the band knocked on the bedroom door and told us to go out and party with them. We drank some beer, talked a lot, and then made out. Sometime later we had sex on the couch, then he saw that I was getting tired, so he took me back in the bedroom and I slept on his chest. He woke me up about an hour or so later and then I called you. Apparently, I’m his girlfriend now.” She murmurs under her breath while she looks at Samantha and smiles.
“He thought it would be great if we took the kids to school in the limo. On the way he gave them his own shirts signed and then when we got there, he even stepped out and said goodbye to them while everyone was watching. All the girls ran screaming at him when they realized who the limo belonged to. So, then we made our getaway, he got my number and gave me his so he can call me later today. After everything I am just supposed to act like this was a normal day and go over to his new house sometime next week.”
Samantha takes a deep breath and spouts off, “I tell you; I don’t know how any of this happened.” She gets up from the table and grabs a piece of toast.
“So, what the hell? You go screw him and then now you are his girlfriend?” Samantha asks.
“Apparently, he’s not into college students or teenagers. He likes women his own age and he does not usually get a chance to meet any. He’s actually really down to earth and serious.” She smiles and runs her finger over the edge of the table.
“So, did you forget about Grayson? What are you going to say to him? I thought you two were getting fairly serious?” Samantha asks hesitantly.
“I know, I thought this was going to be a one-night stand. I only did it because I was mad at him. I don’t have a clue what I am supposed to do. We were going to go away this weekend, but he scared me when he choked me. I didn’t like that one bit.” She admits while she stares at Samantha fleetingly.
“If he is really a violent person underneath all that sweetness and passion, what am I supposed to do? I’m going to have to go over there and let him know that I can’t go this weekend. Should I dare tell him about this whole thing?” She asks Samantha quietly.
“If you don’t, he’s going to find out one way or another. It’s going to be all over the papers about how Julian’s got a mystery lover.”
“How was I to know that a famous rock star would be really attracted to me. He is so lonely his band members thought he was gay, because he wouldn’t screw any of the college girls who hit on him. He told me that his last relationship was about six years ago. She was too immature for him, and she just wanted him because he’s rich and famous.”
Kelly looks down at her hands and mutters, “Apparently, he wants a serious relationship. I’m just going along for the ride for now. I don’t know if it will go anywhere or not. I guess I will just have to wait and see.” as she gets some apple juice out of the fridge and pours a glass for herself.
“You know Julian is a nice guy. He’s cooler than I thought he would be, and he is so good looking. He’s got an awesome body, but I’m getting off subject. I need to take a shower and then go over and talk to Grayson. At least he wasn’t home this morning when the limo arrived.” Kelly adds before she heads to the bathroom.
After a nice long hot shower, Kelly puts on a fresh pair of clothes and brushes her hair. Samantha comes in and points across the street as she announces excitedly, “He’s back! You need to go over and talk to him because your fun with Julian has hit the net. Apparently, one of the kids at the girl’s school caught this morning on their phone and now the video has gone viral. The reporters are trying to figure out who was with him this morning in the limo.” Samantha says as she smirks knowingly.
“Alright, truth be told I knew this was coming soon. I just didn’t want to tell him. Should I just admit that I screwed up because I was mad at him? Or should I just break it off with him? I don’t know what I should do. Matter of fact, I don’t know what I should feel anymore. I am so confused.” She says in frustration as she frowns, and she tries to figure out what to do next.
“Just go over there and talk to him. The thing with Julian is cool and all but most likely it is just a great screw for a while. It probably is not going to be a long-term relationship. You must think of the kids too.” She points out while she acts concerned for Kelly.
“Your right, I should listen to the voice of reason because the girls thought we would get married, and they adore Grayson. I think he would be a great dad if given the chance. Perhaps, the other day was just a mistake.”
