Chapter 40: What To Do With Aaron
In the middle of the night, she dreams of Julian making love to her. It turns into a bad dream where she sees blood pouring from him. She tries to stop it, but nothing helps. Instead, his life slips from her hands. She screams but no sound comes from her mouth, then the dream changes again. She sees Carlos smiling at her, he pulls her to him and kisses her. “It will be all right.” He caresses her face.
He wipes the tears from her face as he leans in and kisses her. “I am so sorry. I want to make it better.” He stops for a minute and then runs his fingers through her hair as he kisses her deeply. Caressing her face with his hand again, she turns to kiss his palm. “I want you.” He stops to look at her before he pulls off her nightgown.
The softness of her skin makes him become hard when he runs his fingers over her nipples softly. The feeling drives her mad, so she takes him in her hand and strokes him. He moans and takes her hard. Slipping in between her legs, he feels her hot and wet with desire. He thrusts into her slowly, then faster.
They do this for what seems an eternity until her eyes glaze over. She moans as he plunges deep into her. Their bodies touch as he hungrily kisses her, he stops and gasps while he releases. They hold each other and lay quietly.
“I have to go.” He whispers just before he disappears. She wakes up and quickly looks around.
She turns towards the window and notices that the sun is starting to come up. She lays back down and curls up with her pillow and gets a few more hours of sleep. Just before waking up, she has a dream about Julian. They are making love and playfully kissing each other. She feels so happy and carefree.
She wakes up and starts crying. Lying in bed for hours, she sobs and hugs her pillow. She thought she was starting to get better. What is the matter with me? Why can’t I stop crying?
Finally getting up, she catches a shower and eats lunch. She looks across the road and does not see Grayson’s car. “Thank goodness.” she sighs with relief. I don’t need that kind of drama right now.
“Hey, how are you doing? I heard you crying again this morning.” Samantha walks out of her room and sits by her on the couch.
“I had a vivid dream about Julian just before I woke up, it was like he was there. I have realized just how much I loved him. I don’t think I can ever have that again.” Kelly looks at her contemplating saying something else.
“Well, you loved John, and you moved on over time.” Samantha responded.
“But that love was different. It wasn’t fast and furious it was slow and sweet. It matured over years, not weeks.”
“You know, I never asked you why you called Aaron to come here anyway. Did you think I was so depressed that I would never pull out of it?”
“To be honest, yes. I was really worried about you. I also knew that Aaron would be able to help you. He’s a qualified psychiatrist and a good friend. Not to mention, he’s hot. One night I got a little drunk and hit on him at a party, we ended up in the backseat of his car. He literally was the best screw I have ever had, but it never went anywhere. We just stayed friends. We tried to have a relationship, but it didn’t work out and I found out later why. He told me that he had loved you for years.”
“You really are lucky in a way. So many men have loved you and still do. I can’t even get one to love me.” Samantha looks down at her hands.
“Samantha, you just haven’t found the right one yet. You will. Don’t worry. Your awesome. Some guy will realize that I promise. He will be the luckiest man in the world when he finds you.” Kelly hugs her.
“Hey, we haven’t been out partying for the longest time. Why don’t we go to the bar tonight, it will do me some good getting out. Who knows, maybe that lucky guy will be there, and you will meet him. Come on, you never know unless you try.” Kelly waits.
“Yes, sounds great. If nothing else, maybe I can get lucky. I haven’t had sex in a couple of months. I must be losing my touch.” Samantha raises an eyebrow.
“There you go. Don’t forget to scratch that itch.”
“Hey, maybe we can get Aaron to go with us. We all have not hung out together in a long time. He can keep an eye on you, so I won’t have to worry about you running off with some stranger in the night.” Samantha suggests.
“Like I really would do that. Or would I? Maybe that’s what I need. Some one-night stands might help me get this depression out of my system.”
“So, are you planning on just screwing anyone you see” Samantha asks.
“No, he has to be hot.” Kelly looks at her, “Well, when I talk to him then I will know.”
“Are we going to go after Aaron comes over and talks with you? Or should we call him and tell him not to come over tonight?” Samantha asks.
“After. He really helps me. Maybe, he can have some suggestions for me for tonight? After all, he is a guy.”
Samantha looks at her shockingly, “Kelly, you must remember that he has deep feelings for you. I don’t know if that would be a good idea to ask him about picking up guys? I know he is a professional and all, but some things are just best to leave alone.”
Kelly’s phone rings. “It’s the girls! Hi, how are you doing? I miss you. Are you having fun with grandma and grandpa?”
“Jaime has got a boyfriend!” Lilly exclaims.
“Lilly is a pain in the butt mom.” Jaime yells.
“Thanks for letting us come down here. We are having loads of fun. I have been swimming every day.” Jaime answers.
“Well, I’m glad. Things have been o.k. here. I am sort of getting back to normal. It’s just taking a while. When you guys get back, I will be a hundred percent, I promise. I love you.” Kelly starts to get emotional.
“Bye mom.” Jaime and Lilly both yell. They hang up.
“I am so glad they are having fun. Did you hear? Jaime has a boyfriend. How exciting.” Kelly turns to Samantha.
“Just as long as she doesn’t take after you. If you remember, when you were her age, you were already breaking hearts. I remember Michael. He really liked you. You turned around and dumped him two weeks after you started going out. It’s just too bad because he was a nice guy.” Samantha remembers back.
“Look, there was a lot of things in my life I’m not proud of. The one thing that turned me around is when I married John and had the girls. He was my salvation. He was good to me. I can’t believe that I was so lucky to have found him.” Kelly starts to get tears in her eyes.
“Well before we both start crying, why don’t we pick out our clothes for tonight? Let’s see how sexy we can dress.” Samantha gets up and starts walking to her bedroom.
Over the next couple of hours, they go through outfits. Finally, they both settle on what they are going to wear tonight. Kelly sits down on the couch for a bit. She gets excited when she realizes that Aaron will be coming over soon. She hears a knock at the door and jumps up to answer it.
“Hi, thanks for coming over.” She smiles at Aaron warmly. “Where do you want to talk?” She asks.
“Where do you feel more comfortable?” He looks at her.
“Let’s go in my room. It’s my comfort zone.” She leads the way. When they get in the bedroom, they sit down on the bed.
“So, have you thought about Grayson any?” He asks.
“I went over there, and we decided that it was best to just quit. I told him I could not have a relationship where I had to deal with my emotions. He couldn’t just have sex.” Kelly starts to feel uncomfortable.
“Well then, I guess that is something he will just have to get over. Most men would do anything to just have sex, especially with you. I bet, that if you asked any guy on the street to have sex with you, they would jump at the opportunity. I’m sure you already know that you are hot.” He blushes and she notices that he has a rather large erection growing in his pants.
“Aaron! Is that your professional opinion or are you speaking for yourself?” She flirts.
“If I throw out all professionalism and speak to you just as a guy, I must say both.” He tells her while still blushing.
