❤️ She is Mine (Part 2) ❤️
Dean was laughing at what Adaoh had just told him. He stop and with a serious look he asked.
"Let me get this straight, you believed what Kando said?" At Adaoh nod, he continued. "Have you forgotten who I am, who is standing before you? I am a god. How can someone control my actions? That's impossible. Just because he saw something on my forehead doesn't mean it's real, after all you didn't find anything there." he added.
After Kando had woken him up and had told him about the symbol he saw on his forehead, they had quickly rushed down to Adaoh prison who then confirmed what Kando was saying.
Standing close to him, Adaoh shook her head.
"You've forgotten that someone made you a god." Adaoh reminded him.
"I became a god the moment he died, Adaoh, there is nothing wrong with me. I will feel it if there is," Dean said in anger.
"Don't be stubborn Dean, whoever that did it do it in a way you won't notice. I believe Kando," Adaoh said to him. Something is wrong somewhere. "Look into it, whoever it is, must be powerful. It's not that I am not strong enough, it's just that I can't sense anything. Please listen to-"
Cutting her off abruptly. "No you both should listen to me, nothing is wrong with me rather the both of you should check yourselves," he said and made to walk out of the room when he remembered something and stopped. "Kando I will be in my throne room, fetch me my messenger." with that being said he left the room.
"He won't believe, his high ego has clouded his sense of reasoning," Adaoh said once Dean had shut the door behind. Kando nodded his head and with a brief smile he left Adaoh. He doesn't want to anger Dean the most by keeping him waiting. "Who could it be? What am I missing?" she asked aloud to herself.
What am I missing?
~~~
Dean was livid in anger. He tried not to think what Adaoh had told him even though a tiny part of him wanted to believe what the witch had said.
If it was Sarah, I would have believed without a second thought, but this is Adaoh. How am I not sure she planned this?
Dean thought to himself as he waited for Kando. When he heard the crack opening of his throne room door, he knew it was Kando and his messenger.
"Greetings to you my Emperor." the messenger greeted Dean with a bow.
"Get prepared you will be leaving for Ashland by morning. You will give them a message," Dean said to him.
"Okay my Emperor, what message?"
"It should be for the ears of the one who held my Kira hostage and not in anyone's ear. Tell him to release my bride or else I will kill the girl that Kando brought here and I will still come and take my bride away from him. I am giving him one extra day to send Kira back to me or face the consequences he will be bringing himself," Dean said to his messenger. "You must tell him every word I said here, do not remove or add any."
"Yes my Emperor," the messenger said. "Will that be all?" he asked.
"Yes, carry your sorry excuse of yourself out of here," Dean said and watched as the Messenger hurried left his throne room. He turned his gaze on Kando. "Send 1,000 armies to escort him to Ashland," he ordered.
"Yes Master." Kando acknowledge. He was scared a bit for Gwen's life and so many questions ran through his head. What if Storm didn't do as say? What if Kira doesn't want to come back? What if- his trail of thoughts was Interrupted by Dean's voice.
"Did you plan with Adaoh?" he asked.
No one needed to tell Kando what Dean meant by his question. "i did not plan with Adaoh my Emperor. I was only keeping watch of the palace when I sense it and I rushed to your room then I saw it clearly but it was gone."
"What about Cando then, why didn't he sense this since? He has been with me since after you left for Ashland with Kira and he didn't for once mention any of these things to me."
"Master, Cando is my younger brother and he is still growing. I and Cando are not the same, my Emperor and you know that." Kando explained.
Dean thought about it for a while but nodded his head. "But still, I don't trust that witch, even though I believe you saw a symbol on my forehead, I wouldn't believe someone has the guts to control my thoughts. It's impossible," Dean said. No one has the guts to that. No one.
Kando has no other option than to agree. "Of course master. But still yet, aren't you taking it too far to threaten our hostage? If you kill Gwen, he will kill Kira."
"He won't even touch a single hair on Kira."
"You are so sure of yourself, master," Kando said with raised brows. Is there something Dean knows?
"Don't worry I just know he won't hurt Kira even if I hang the girl's head on his rooftop, he won't do anything. Trust me," Dean said with confidence.
But I won't let you do that. Kando thought and then sighs. "If that will be all I shall leave to prepare the armies that will escort the messenger," Kando said and bow his head slightly before leaving the throne room.
Unknown Place:
The mysterious man's hands shook in anger as he stared at nothing. He has to do something about the Raven god, for the Raven god to sense his presence means he remembered. But it can't be. He just hoped Dean had gotten his message before the Raven god Interrupted him. He walked back to Phoenix who was still coughing.
"Enough." he bellowed in anger and the coughing fit stopped immediately. "If not that I am a man who keeps to his promises, I would have cut off your head from your body. I hate you."
"I thought you said you love hearing me cough." Phoenix couldn't help but whisper.
"One more word from you and I will make sure you cough until I kill him then kill you," the mysterious man said in warning and began putting on his cloak that hid his face and body.
"Aren't you tired of all these? Let him be, please." Phoenix spoke again after a minute of silence. The mysterious man didn't say anything; rather he looked at the cell she was in and snorted loudly for her to hear him before he left his secret lair.
Ashland Kingdom: Palace
Early in the morning when the morning sun was almost out. Kira had woken up to an empty bed, she looked around in the room and was greeted with emptiness. She blinked her sadness away. Did she dream of last night?
Pushing out Storm's thought from her head, she quickly went to the bathroom to freshen up. She then felt that she was no longer feeling any pain, in fact, she was alright and didn't bother about the bandages, the line of the whip was still in her body but other than that, she was not feeling any pain. When she came out of the bathroom and saw a blue gown on her bed, she grabbed hold of it and went back into the bathroom and came out shortly in the long flowery gown.
She opened the door and went in search of her father. She was told by a guard that Emera was still in his room and hadn't come out. She headed for his room and didn't bother to knock when she opened the door and walked in, she was surprised to see him talking to Storm which made her stop right there in her tracks. They were both sitting on the bed, whispering into one another like old friends.
"You are finally awake my Sunshine," Storm said with a bright smile on his face, and just like her, he had freshened up. "I didn't want to wake you up." he added and his eyes roamed her body. "I see you got the dress, it suits you and it brings out your beauty."
Kira blush. First was him calling her his sunshine and now calling her beautiful.
"Thank you Storm, I love it."
"How are you feeling right now? Are you in any pain?" He asked his playfulness gone and was replaced with seriousness.
"I am fine, I walked here on my own. After I woke up on an empty bed, I thought what happened yesterday night was a dream," Kira said and she began to walk towards her father, leaning forward to peck her father on his left cheek. "Good morning father, hope you had a good night's rest?"
"Yes I did. I slept well, I was just worried about you."
"Don't worry, I'm cool and also me and Storm are now cool."
"He was telling me that," Emera said with a bright smile which lightened up his face.
"Father forgive me for asking, have you seen my pendant?"
"Yes I have, it was with me." Emera replied and brought it out from where he had hidden both pendants. The diamond half pendant seems ordinary in his arms but when it touches Kira well, it was still looking ordinary.
"Thank you," she thanked.
"I was planning to ask him that before you came in," Storm said. "I told you it will be on a safe hand." Kira nodded her head as Storm stood up and took hold of one of her arms. "Come with me, there is something I need to speak with you in private." he added walking out of the room dragging Kira with him, though not too rough.
"I will come back later, father," Kira shouted.
Kira was surprised when they passed his bedroom.
"I thought we were going back to the bedroom," Kira voiced out as they started heading towards the palace gate.
"No, I didn't say anything about the bedroom." Storm told her and then whistled once and one of his brothers came towards them with Storm's horse. "We are going somewhere outside the Palace." he added and helped Kira on his horse before climbing after her to sit behind her. With a kick in his horse's side, they rode out of the Palace.
Kira relaxes against his chest, closing her eyes and wishing the horse never stops. She loves the feelings of Storm arms around her.
Soon Storm pulled hard on the reins of his horse which halts.
"We are here," Storm said and came down from the horse first which prompted Kira to open her eyes since she couldn't feel the warmth of Storm. Looking around her, her eyes widened up a bit when she realized where they were. With the help of Storm, she came down from the horse.
"What are we doing here?" Kira asked.
"Do you remember this place?" Storm asks.
"Of course I do, why will I forget here? That was the first day we met and saw a dwarf." Kira answered. They were standing at the marketplace. Where the dwarf had spoken to them years ago. "But I still don't get why we are here."
"Do you remember what the dwarf had told us?" Storm ask
