❤️ She is Mine (Part 5) ❤️
"Do remember that mother." Rumi ended her little speech and then took a deep breath.
"Of course my child," Sarah said with a forced smile.
"Go and prepare something for us to eat, I am hungry," Rumi said with her own smile, pretending not to notice the forced smile and focus on the task she was doing which indicates the end of their little discussion. Sarah made to turn and leave the room but stopped.
"After we are done eating, I will like to take a stroll, you know, to walk around," Sarah said, still smiling and this time her smile was genuine.
"Do whatever that suits you, mother, but remember not to go close to the palace because Emera is around there and like you said he knows you." Rumi dismissed her with a wave of her hands.
"I won't, thank you my child," Sarah said, turning around and gritting her teeth once she left Rumi's room and headed towards the kitchen. Her hands balled into fists.
A little girl telling her what to do, well, every beginning has an ending, right?

Kudarma Kingdom:
Kando's Room:
Gwen was wide awake at the voice of Dean, she overheard everything he said and was praying they were not going to attack Ashland. She was standing beside the window frame when they matched out.
The door to her room opened and she wasn't surprised when she saw Cando walking in.
Meeting him halfway, "What's going on? Why is your Emperor taking his armies to Ashland and why is Kando with them?" she asked immediately.
"He is going to warn that dark guy to release Kira to him or else there will be war." Cando answered.
"First of all, his name is Storm and not 'dark guy,'" she said defending Storm. "And secondly, why won't he send his messenger to deliver his message, why go himself?"
"I don't know his reason but whatever it is, I just hope Storm agrees to his demands."
"And why is that? Why will Storm agree to his demands?" Gwen demanded.
"Because Ashland doesn't stand a chance against Kudarma. So he should use his common sense but if he refuses, people are going to die and Ashland will fall."
"You are speaking as someone who has seen the future of Ashland, well let me tell you that sometimes the future doesn't always go as we had seen or planned. And I know Storm, he will use his common sense," Gwen said with a little bit of relief that they were not going to attack Ashland. "But why is Kando with him and not you? I hope he does realize that he kept me here." she added with a frown on her face.
"Master wanted him to be with him if not he would be with you, my brother is the strongest of our two, so..." he didn't finish his statement hoping Gwen would catch the drift of where he was heading too and she did.
"Okay, I mean no offense but why are you here and not doing whatever your Emperor asked you to do in his absence?" she asked. Now that she has gotten all the answers needed, he should leave.
"Well Kando wanted to bring you to meet someone and since he is not here he asked me to do that for you," Cando said casually. "So I am here." He added.
"And who is this person?" Gwen asked with raised brows, suddenly curious. She just arrived and someone wants to see her, scratch that, Kando wants her to meet someone?
"You will see," Cando replied with a shrug. "Freshen up so that I can take you to meet her and bring you back to the room before they return. We don't want to risk our Master seeing your face." he added.
"And why?"
"You ask too many questions," Cando said. "When I take you to see her, you will know the reason why I spoke so. I will be waiting outside the door for." he added and made to leave but paused to say. "And please don't take much time."
With that he left Gwen who couldn't help but wonder who the lady she was going to meet was. And why did Kando want her to meet this unknown lady? She quickly took her bath and wore her dress she had worn the day she was taken by Cando.
Opening the door, she saw Cando waiting for her, he looked at her from head to toe and nodded his head and without another word to her started walking away expecting her to follow him which she gladly did.
Staring around the Palace in broad daylight made her realize how beautiful the palace was. Whoever built the palace really needs a good pat on his head for doing a job well done. And thinking of the palace brought back the memories of Kando when he flew her around and their kiss.
She didn't know when Cando and she ran into his back, regaining her balance she glared up at him.
"Couldn't you at least give me a signal." Gwen yelled out in anger.
"If you weren't so daydreaming about my brother you would have heard when I said we are here." Cando said, turning his head slightly to look at her fuming eyes with a knowing look and a lopsided smile.
"I wasn't day dreaming of your brother and please cut off that damn look from your face, whatever that you are thinking is the complete opposite," Gwen said immediately. If not that she was angry, she could have been a blushing mess by now.
"Deny all you want," Cando said and if possible his smile increased. He cleared his throat and gestured with his head. "We are here," he added.
Gwen looked at the building in front of her where more than two guards were. It looked normal and wasn't built the way the palace was built. It looked bare.
"And where is it exactly?" Gwen asked, ignoring the guards as she tried to meet up with Cando long strides. They were in and she only saw one door inside the building. "Why are guards here? Is the person I am about to see important? If she is, why is she here?" she demanded.
Cando kept quiet and opened the door and waited for Gwen to enter first like the gentleman he was but Gwen crossed her hands across her chest and gave him a sneer look.
"Do I look dumb to you? You expect me to just walk in first because you open a fucking door for me, enter and I will follow suit and our journey here will be so fruitless."
Not having the strength to argue with her he walked him to see Adaoh chuckling at him. Rolling his eyes at her as Gwen entered after him, shutting the door behind her.
Her eyes first went around the room; noticing the books and clothes in one corner and the bed before it finally landed on the woman in it. The woman she was going to meet, the woman who was staring at her, unmoving, the woman who looked almost just like her, an older version of herself.
She gasped out loud as she moved closer to the woman who did the same. "Are we related? You look. just like me. Who are you exactly?" Gwen couldn't hide her shock.
"I'm your mother." Adaoh revealed as she closed the distance between them and she couldn't hide her joy from showing in her face. "I have finally got to meet you my dear daughter. You don't know how hard it has been for me to keep my acts together." she added and pull Gwen to a tight warm hug. "I am so happy Eden kept to his promise and took great care of you."
"I don't understand," Gwen said pushing herself away from Adaoh. "You're my mother? My birth mother?" she asked and Adaoh nodded happily. She never had a mother while growing up and her father didn't speak of her mother when he was still alive. Wait a minute, what if her father isn't her real father?
"If you are my mother does that mean h is my father?" Gwen asked and Adaoh didn't need to be told twice who she was referring to.
"He is not your father, he just took care of you because at that time I was in danger." Adaoh answered happily.
It was too much for Gwen and she didn't know when she went to the bed and sat down.
"I can't believe this," Gwen said, closing her eyes. "Why are you here then, why are you hiding away from me when you could probably come to the Garden of Edenis as you like. Don't you want me?"
"My daughter," Adaoh began as she sat next to Gwen holding her hands in hers. "It's a long story but I never wanted to leave you, or any of you, but I had no choice. Your father was dead and I wasn't going to allow his children to die . That is why I did what I did. I think of you everyday." she told Gwen.
"But you could have at least paid me a visit," Gwen said and then halted as she remembered what Adaoh had said. "What do you mean by any of us, are there more of us?"
"Yes," Adaoh nodded her head and glanced briefly at Cando who gave her his charming smile- which means whatever secret she was about to reveal is completely safe with him- before she returned her gaze back to Gwen and continued. "I gave birth to triplets and my friend stole one of them from me and ran away with her, then I gave the two of you to your father's trusted friends each. And now I am so blessed that I was able to see the two of you and I believe soon I shall come across my third daughter."
"Hold on, you've met one of us before you met me?" At Adaoh nod she continued. "That means she will be in this Palace, who is she?" Gwen asked anxiously. First she was being kidnapped and now she has met her birth mother.
"You have met with her too, my dear."
"I have? When was that?" Gwen couldn't hide the shock from her voice as she tried to remember the servants that she bumped on her way here. Could it be the servant girl that washed her dress? Or the one who brings food for her? "Who is she?"
"She went to Ashland with Kando and didn't return with Kando."
Gwen stared at Adaoh as if the woman had grown two large horns. "Juno? You mean Storm's Juno?" she asked to be sure she was correct.
"Yes, Kira. She is one of your sisters."
"I can't believe this," Cando muttered, he was just as shocked as Gwen was. Was that the reason why his brother had asked him to bring Gwen here because he knows?
"Unbelievable," Gwen said loudly enough for Adaoh to hear. "I can't wait to tell Storm this when I return."
Adaoh smiled at that. "I haven't told her yet."
"But she doesn't look like you."
"I know because she looks so much like her father."
"And my third sister, where is she? Who has her?" Gwen asked.
"Like I said before, one of my friends stole her from me and I haven't seen my daughter until today. I don't even know how she looks by now, but I know we will meet just as fate has brought my two daughters to me in one way or the other," Adaoh said with a smile. "I just wish I am not here."
"Why are you here anyway?"
This time around, it was Cando who replied to her. "Your mother is a prisoner here."
Scoffing out loud. "I see no chains bind to her so stop making things up."
"He is not making things up Gwen, I'm truly Dean's prisoner," Adaoh said sadly. "And you can't see the chains here because it is made of magic."
Feeling pity for her mother, she once again hugged her. "Don't worry I will find a way to get you out of here, once I go back to Ashland, I will tell Juno who she really is and tell Storm about you. He will take you out of here."
Adaoh could say nothing but only nod her head.
"I'm hungry," Gwen said, standing up on her feet. "I will come visit you again."

Ashland Kingdom:
Outside The Palace:
Storm had nearly reached the gate of the Palace, in fact he was in front of the palace when he heard the running noises made by some horses and that stopped him right in on his track. He turned his horse around and watched as the horse riders approached him. The guards in front of the gate all stood in a fighting stance just in case it was an attack and Ninja brothers all came out to join him, including Emera, Morgan and Fred. A guard had hurried inside to inform them about the armies coming.
Storm was able to make out the faces of Kando and another new face. He couldn't deny the red headed guy glaring at him with all his might was good-looking. And Kira gasped out in shock and surprise. They stopped their horses leaving a few meters separating them.
"Apart from Kando, do you know the red haired with him?" Storm asked his eyes equally, giving the red-haired his own glare.
"Yes, that's Dean," Kira's voice was shaking a bit when she spoke. She didn't want Dean to start a fight with Storm.
Storm was shocked, he had thought the Dean he normally hears from Kira mouth was an old man, like the age of Emera, but he was wrong. Dean was a young man like himself.
Dean couldn't hold back his fury as he noticed Storm hands on Kira's. He shouldn't be touching what is his.
"You." he pointed at Storm.
"You." Storm said with the same tone.
"Well, well, well, I have finally come here for my bride. Should I talk to him peacefully to give me back my bride or since he is my enemy should I kill him or bury him?" Dean asked no one in particular in a smug.
Storm grinned which made Dean angry. "First option is better Dean, and even if you talk to me peacefully Juno is going nowhere. Second option is very risky. Don't try that with me or else you will embarrass yourself."
