❤️ Forgiveness is Earned (3) ❤️

"What did you say?" Kira demanded as she became fully awake. Her movement woke up Emera.

Instead of replying, she grabs hold of Kira's hand and places it on her stomach. "My stomach is big." she said, staring into Kira's eyes which widened.

"But how is that possible?" Kira asked. "It hasn't been that long since you returned, hell, it hasn't been a week, how come you are pregnant and this big."

"I'm pregnant." Gwen whispers to herself touching her round stomach.

"You are pregnant Gwen and I assume Kando is responsible?" Emera said.

Nodding her head. "Of course who else do you think owns the pregnancy?" Gwen playfully rolled her eyes at Emera. She still can't believe her eyes yet. Kando didn't leave her.

"Oh, I had forgotten it's Kando. They are not human like us so probably that's why you now have a big stomach." Kira said smiling. "So I will be an Aunt soon."

"Will I make a good mother? Will my baby like me? Shouldn't I inform Kando? Do you think he will want me now that I am carrying his child? Won't he say I used the pregnancy to trap him?" Gwen rushed her questions.

Kira hugged Gwen gently, "Don't over think yourself on this. Everything will work out fine okay?"

"I'm scared Juno,"

"You shouldn't be, you have me and Storm and father here with you. So stop being scared."

"I'm really pregnant, I will be a mother soon."

"Yes," Kira laughed, releasing her hold from her body. "Let's go and Inform storm, let's tell him the good news."

Shaking her head, "I don't want Morgan to see me like this Juno. I don't know what his reaction will be."

"And who cares about his reaction? You don't love him anymore so let him deal with it." Kira grinned from ear to ear.

"I still do not want to come outside, you can bring Storm here. I will be waiting."

"Okay." Kira was out of the room.

"So how does it feel?" Emera ask, making room for Gwen to sit on the bed which she did.

"It feels so surreal to me but then again..." Gwen trails off rubbing her stomach.

They waited close to ten minutes before Kira returned with Storm towering behind her.

"See, I told you." Kira pointed at Gwen's big stomach with an enigmatic smile.

Storm was quiet and didn't say anything, he just stared at Gwen then at her stomach. This he kept doing for close to thirty minutes.

"Will you say something Storm? Your silence is killing me." Gwen sadly said getting up to her feet giving Storm the view he wanted.

"I can't believe this," Storm said in disbelief. "You're pregnant." he added a second later, smiling a lit bit.

"Yes, that I am." Gwen nodded her head.

"What is going on here?" Morgan's voice Interrupted and Gwen quickly turned around so that her back was facing him. "Who is pregnant?" he asked.

Emera House:

Rumi woke up and what had happened the previous day came into her thoughts. She should have killed Sarah for causing her pain but she couldn't because a part of her believes it was her fault too.

She has the right to say no to Sarah. She has the right not to do as Sarah requested. She has the right not to carry out Sarah's revenge but no, she didn't stop herself. So in as much as she is blaming Sarah she is also blaming herself.

Taking a quick bath and changing her clothes she heads outside. There are two things she needs to do, first is to go to the Palace and apologize to those she had greatly offended and secondly to go to Kudarma Kingdom to check if Dean was awake.

When she came out of the building, her feet carried her to the grave of Grace.

"I'm sorry for what I did to you. Wherever you are I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive my foolishness." She apologized and left the compound, locking the gate on her way out.

"Who is pregnant?" Morgan repeated. "I thought I heard someone saying that," he added. He has been looking for Gwen since and had done to check her in Storm's room. It was the guard outside the door that told him that she wasn't inside and pointed at the direction she had gone.

Kira and Storm stare at each other and Kira gestures with her head slightly at Storm.

"Gwen," Storm said, placing his hands on her shoulders and turning her around so that she can face Morgan. "She is the one that is pregnant," he announced.

Morgan's eyes slowly went from Gwen's head to her toes and stopped at her stomach. His eyes widened when he saw it.

"We talked yesterday and your tummy wasn't like this, what happened?" Morgan asked with wide eyes and raised eyebrows.

"I don't know, I woke up from sleep and saw my stomach like this. I'm pregnant for Kando's." Gwen answered. "I'm carrying his child." It was as if she wanted it to enter his ears.

"So the reason why you rejected me was because you slept with Kando and you're now pregnant with his child?"

"And love too, you forget to add the love part." Gwen said while nodding her head.

"I don't care Gwen. I still love you even with this pregnancy," Morgan said, surprising Gwen and the others. "I want to marry you," he added.

"I'm pregnant with Kando's child." Gwen reminded him once again.

"I know that, but that hasn't changed my love that I have for you. I will take care of you and your baby. The child will be my child too."

"You don't know what you're saying Morgan, besides, I can not allow you father a child whose father is still much alive." Gwen told him. "I just need to inform Kando about the latest development." she added.

"Gwen, you're not going back to him and that's final. Me and you belong to each other."

Gwen looked at Storm with pleading eyes which he understood.

"A word with you Morgan," Storm said, leaving the room with Morgan. They walked two feet away from the door. "Gwen doesn't love you."

"She does love me brother," Morgan said, shaking his head. "She is just too blind to see my love for her."

"Or maybe you are the blind one, Morgan. One thing that I know about Gwen is that once she made up her mind, there is no going back. You also know that once Kando gets to know about this pregnancy he wouldn't leave her alone."

"He shouldn't know for now, please, no one should inform him until I have gotten married to Gwen."

Storm stares at him as if he has another head.

"So you even know what you are saying?"

"I am fully aware of what I just said, Storm. Help me convince her to marry me to love me back again. I don't want to lose her to anyone." Morgan pleaded.

"We have talked to her and what I mean by 'we' is me and Juno but she remains adamant that she is in love with Kando." Storm told him. "It's in your court to convince Gwen to marry you but be assured that her mine is already mind up." he added and at that moment he saw Rumi walking towards them with graceful step.

Reaching them, she greeted them and entered Emera's room.

"We will continue our discussion later, I have to make sure Juno doesn't tear Rumi apart." Storm said and without waiting quickly returned back to the room he had left.

Rumi wasn't surprised when she received a death glare from Kira. She saw Gwen and her stomach and smiled at her.

"Told you, you're with a child." Rumi said with her chin up.

"Yes you did and I doubted you," Gwen said.

"Cut the crap and state the reason why you're here." Kira's cold voice was heard and it was at that moment Storm and Morgan re-enter the room.

"I came here to apologize to you and... father." Rumi said, closing her eyes, missing Emera's smile, she opened her eyes. "I'm sorry for what I did to you Juno. you were good to me and all I did was repay your kindness for evil. I'm truly sorry for that."

"Yeah, whatever." Kira snorted.

"Father, I know I have no right to call you that but I hope you will grant me the permission to. I am also sorry for ruining your life. I feel terrible for what I have done." Rumi apologized to Emera.

"It's okay, I understand you Rumi and I have forgiven you. Mistakes do happen but I hope you've learned your lesson." Emera said, still smiling.

"I have, father, thank you." Rumi said one heavy burden lifted up from her shoulder remaining Juno's own. "I also went to my mother's grave to seek her forgiveness."

"And you think she will forgive you? You killed her, you cut her body into pieces and pretended as if it was done by someone else, we believed you Rumi, I believed you but what did you do? You stab me in the back."

"And I am sorry for that Juno. What can I do to make it up to you? For you to forgive me?"

"Forgiveness is earned Rumi, until you prove to me that you are worthy to earn my forgiveness."

"Okay, I will do my possible best." Rumi agrees. "I will be leaving, I have somewhere else to go."

"Please leave already, your presence is irritating me." Kira shudders.

"Okay." Rumi said with a sigh. "I am sorry once again." she added and turned to leave when Emera's voice stopped her.

"Wait Rumi," Emera said, going to meet her and surprise her by hugging her. "I just want you to know that I still love you as a father will love his daughter. Nothing has changed. I still see you as my daughter."

"Thank you." Now isn't the right time to cry in front of others. Rumi chided herself.

"Tell me," Emera said, going back to sit on his bed. "What did you do to Sarah?"

"I locked her up in the place she has been all these years."

"A place she has been?" Emera asked in confusion.

Nodding her head. "Yes, after she taught me everything I needed to know, I stole her powers and locked her up before coming to meet you. It was recently that I released her and now that I know the truth, she will be staying there for the time being." Rumi explained. "I really have to go now, I will be back later to see you." she added and left quickly, breathing once she was outside the Palace.

Quickly she heads for Kudarma. She couldn't wait to see Cando.

Kudarma Kingdom:

Dean's Palace:

Cando and Kando were coming out of Dean's room when they spotted Rumi. Their wings spurted out from their backs and they flew towards her.

Rumi was surprised when she saw both brothers flying towards her and didn't stop it from showing on her face.

"Are those wings?" She asked in awe as they landed in front of her.

"Yes, it is. How do you think I carried you?" Cando said, crossing his arms across his chest.

"I-i mean I didn't know you have wings."

"That was how I kidnapped Gwen. Flew over, grab her and fly out of Ashland." Cando said.

Rumi felt jealous. Was the pregnancy for Cando?

"Okay. Has Dean woken up?" she asked as she headed for his room, she could still remember the room Cando had put him in.

"Not yet, we went to check on him." Kando answered this time around as they followed her back to the room they had just exited.

Touching Dean on his forehead, Rumi nodded her head at nothing in particular.

"He will wake up, his body is still weak." she told them. "So since he is not awake, I have some questions for the both of you."

"..."

Cando opened his mouth.

"What is your question?" Kando Interrupting Cando.

"Why didn't you fight back? Your brother also didn't."

"But I have told you the reason." Cando said with narrowed eyes.

"I want to hear from Kando." Rumi told him which irritated him.

Why not him? Why his brother? Cando thought.

"We can't fight him because we owe him our life, he rescued us and we are indebted to him so we can't hurt him even if we want to," Kando answered.

"What did he save you both from?"

"We don't know, we can't remember." Kando said sadly.

"What do you mean you can't remember?" Rumi demanded.

"It means we don't know who we are, the only thing we remember are our names. Our master wouldn't tell us what he had saved us from." Cando replied.

"Hmm," Rumi hummed out. "I see. I think I can help you guys with that." she added.

"Really?" Kando asked, surprised.

"You can do that?" Cando asks.

"Of course I can," Rumi said, laughing it off as if it's no big deal. "Sit down, both of you. I will be quick about it." she added and waited as both brothers looked at each other and as if they were communicating with one another they slowly sat down on the floor.

Rumi went closer to them and placed each of her hands on their foreheads.

"Close your eyes," she whispers as she closes her eyes too.

Murmuring to herself. She opened her eyes and stepped back, away from the brothers, who remained still like a statue.

She waited but didn't have to wait for long when Kando and Cando opened their eyes to meet hers.

"Well? Did it work?" She asked as they stare at her unblinking.

"I remember everything. I know who I am." Kando and Cando said at the same time.
