❤️ He is awake and War (Part 1) ❤️
Does he truly know? Was that why he had told her to meet Dean?
Her face suddenly went pale which didn't go unnoticed by Adaoh.
The mysterious man had planted her here to show her that he is still calling the shots and going against him will result not only Cando death but Adaoh as well. And being the fool that she is, she took the bait and now she is trapped in his own game. She has got to think of a way to beat him up in his own game.
"What is it my dear child? Did you remember something or is something else bothering you?" Adaoh asked in concern.
"Nothing mother, I just realized a little mistake I did. Don't worry, I'm Rumi after all. I will get it solved in no time." Rumi said casually. "You shouldn't be worried about me, instead you should start packing everything that belongs to you, I will be taking you out of here."
"If you say so."
"I have got to go," Rumi said to her. "I will be back before you know it." she added quickly before Adaoh would open her mouth to speak. "Cando, please come and escort me out of here." she said pleading with her eyes at him to accept.
"Of course," Cando's surprised answer shocked her a bit before she smiled at him.
"Kando, when Dean is awake, you both should still pretend that you haven't gotten your memories back, do whatever he tells you to do. And be careful of him." Rumi told them. "I have a hunch that he will be awake soon, so please be careful and don't do things that will give you both away."
Kando nodded his head. "Thank you Rumi for everything." He thanked and watched as she left with his brothers.
"Do you think she will be able to trick Sarah about these chains?" Adaoh asked.
"I hope she does, and if she doesn't, well, there can be other ways to unlock the chains." Kando said. Knowing who Rumi is, he strangely has faith in her.
"How can you be so sure of other ways? What if there are no other ways? Do you think Dean or Sarah will gladly do that?"
"That was what Edgardo thought until he was killed. He thought that he was invincible and looked at how that ended for him."
"So what are you trying to say?"
"That everything will work out fine my Queen."
___
"Do I look evil to you?" Rumi asked as she and Cando slowly walked towards the gate.
"Who told you that?" Cando asked, turning his head to look at her. "You are not evil to me, you saved my brother's life and now you've given us something extra, so you are not evil in my book." he added.
"Well I am evil and I know you must have thought so when we first met, right?" Rumi said, glancing at Cando at the side of her eyes and saw him nodding his head. "I killed people who were close to me and now, my sister sees me as an evil one. I wish I could change the hands of time."
"You can't change it, you have the future ahead and that's where you make up for all the things you've done."
"You saw the state Juno was when she first came here, right?"
"If you are talking about Kira, then yes. She was dead but somehow Dean and Adaoh brought her back to life. Dean saw her and wanted her and that hasn't change."
"Storm has her now," Rumi whispered, then cleared her throat. "I was the one who did that to her, I killed my sister. I made the lies Sarah told me to get better of me and betrayed them. Even if others don't want to forgive me I want her to forgive me. I made a grave mistake."
"I understand, but you have to give her space and time and I assure you, she will warm up to you in no time. Make her see the other side, a good side of you she hasn't seen before."
"Thank you Cando but I still have one more question to ask you if you don't mind."
"Shoot."
"What was your first thought when you saw me for the first time?" Rumi asked stopping which prompted Cando to do the same and he turned fully to face her.
"You were rude and proud and I wanted to stick my sword into your heart."
Rumi's mouth hangs open. "For real?"
"Yeah, what will I gain if I lie?"
"That's a very, straight word."
"I don't beat around the bush if that is what you mean, I don't mince my words, I say it out loud."
"Okay, but now?"
"Right now I can tolerate your presence unlike before."
"So you don't like me?" Rumi asked, her heart beating faster than usual, as she awaits for his response.
"No, why will you think that?" Cando asks with narrow eyes.
Rumi forced herself to smile at him. "Thanks for the walk, Cando." she said quickly and didn't wait for his response when she left his presence. Running outside the Palace wall without turning to look back.
Cando stood there and watched her leave. He was smiling.
"I saw that," Kando said as he joined his brother. "Later on you will say she is not your witch."
"Hush brother, you are ruining my moment," Cando said and only turned to look at his brother when he didn't see Rumi. "What?"
"Nothing, but you hurt her feelings when you told her no."
"Were you listening to our conversation?" he asked with raised brows.
"Not really but u heard that part, I saw her face, you broke her heart Cando. She truly likes you."
"I can't develop feelings. That's how most idi.ots screw up."
"But she is not an idi.ot, don't pass this chance."
"What of you, you let Gwen slip right through your fingers and to think they are now related."
"Gwen has someone else she loves unlike Rumi who doesn't, or maybe she has." Kando said, walking away from his brother.
Those thoughts of Rumi having someone else unsettled Cando's stomach and he didn't like it.
"She doesn't have one."
"Believe that until she falls in love with someone else." Kando said over his shoulder leaving Cando to his thoughts.

Ashland Kingdom:
Rumi didn't encounter the unknown man on her way home. She decides to visit Sarah first before going to meet Emera.
Once she was at the comfy of her room, the ground beneath her opened and she went in.
Sarah was surprised when she saw Rumi. Maybe the girl had a change of heart and had decided to free her. she thought.
"I know you would change your mind Rumi," Sarah said, closing the space between. "I don't mind if I become your servant as long as I am out of here. Please get me out of here." she pleaded, grabbing Rumi's shoulders and shaking it.
"I am not here to free you so fly that thought out of your head Sarah, I came here for you to tell me how to unlock the chains that binds my mother." Rumi told her.
Taking a few steps back, "So you only came here because of that stu.pid mother of yours?" Sarah asked, surprised. Has she met Adaoh? "Wait, what were you doing in Kudarma?"
"The same reason you were there in the first place."
"I went there to see my friend Dean," Sarah defended herself. There was no need to lie anymore.
"And I also went there to see my mother."
"So Dean allowed you to visit Adaoh? I find it hard to believe."
"I am not asking you to believe me Sarah, I am here for you to tell me about the chains. My mother said you and Dean are the only ones who could unlock the chains, especially you since you are the creator of it."
Sarah laughed hysterically, then stopped.
"There is only one way to do that, Rumi, my blood, but I am afraid it is of no use now." Sarah said.
"And why is it? You are still alive," Rumi said, gesturing to her. "I will have to tear off one of your arms or legs and fill your blood in a container."
"It won't work on the chains, Rumi. When I created the chains, I was a powerful sorceress, magic runs through my veins but not now, you've taken away my magic and my blood is of no use to the chains anymore." Sarah explained.
"I don't believe you."
"The only one who could really help you out is Dean but I doubt if he will allow you to work away freely with his trophy," Sarah said. "And well, since you don't believe me you can fill my blood in any container of yours and see for yourself. Seeing is believing." she added. "Unless you return my powers back to me."
Rumi knew that Sarah wasn't lying. And asking Dean to release her mother will be too risky, he will suspect her and that's what she wants to avoid. Giving Sarah her powers back wasn't in her book and she was in no mood to fight her. It seems her coming here was in vain. She was gone two seconds later.
"You didn't even bring something for me to eat or water to drink." Sarah said to the empty room, glaring at the spot Rumi once stood.
With nothing left to do, Rumi decided to go back and inform Emera about Adaoh.

Palace:
"You shouldn't have hugged her father, that would make her think she has been easily forgiven." Kira said, trying not to be angry at her father right now.
"I did no wrong Juno. She has pleaded and I have forgiven her. It is left for you to decide when you want to forgive her. But let me remind you Juno," Emera said. "Rumi has suffered as much as you did."
"I don't care. I didn't choose any of this to happen."
"Neither did she."
"I want to go and have my bath," Gwen said and excused herself from the room. Morgan wasted no time in following her too.
"We can work out this thing Gwen. I still love you and I don't really care about your pregnancy." Morgan said, starting a conversation between them. When Gwen didn't speak, he continued. "I am serious here. You can't get rid of me that quickly. I will not allow it."
By now they have gotten to Storm's room. Gwen made no move to open the door, instead she turned around to face Morgan.
"Morgan, I am sorry for everything but you have to let go. I don't love you and you can't force me to. Sorry but my heart now belongs to someone else."
"I don't care who is in your heart right now, what I care is you being by my side. Your heart will change once again when you realize how much I love you. I will marry you and I don't care how long it will take for you to love me back, but I will wait, no matter how many years it will be."
"You are sick in the head Morgan, stay away from me." Gwen warned and was inside the room at a lightning speed, bolting the door and moving away from it when Morgan continued to bang on it.
"You can't get away from me Gwen. You are mine so get that into your thick skull!" Morgan yelled out as he continued banging on the door, ignoring the looks being thrown at him by the guards and servants passing by. When he realized Gwen wasn't going to open the door. He heaved out a sad sigh. "I can't stay away from you. I just can't stay away, do you hear me!!"
