❤️ A Man Called Storm (Part 39) ❤️
Rumi was done and the chains binding Sarah disappeared into thin air. She watched in amazement as the skeleton body of Sarah started gaining flesh and soon a beautiful woman stood in the place a skinny malnourished woman was before.
Sarah was a beauty to behold, her black hair cascading her back and stopping at her hips. Her eyes were dark as midnight and she was tall, taller than Rumi by a foot inch.
She stared at her body as if she was just seeing it for the first time and lifted her gaze back to Rumi and with a beaming smile she ran up to her and pulled Rumi into a tight hug.
"Thank you so much Rumi," Sarah said as she kissed the top of Rumi's head, releasing her hold on her. "Can we leave here? It's been a long time since I have seen the sun, the stars, the moon. In fact I don't even know what things would look like now." she added eagerly.
"Mother, I did not release you because of that but I only released you based on what we discussed or have you forgotten?" Rumi asked, keeping her guard up. She doesn't trust her mother that much.
"Oh I haven't forgotten my dear daughter of mine. I will keep to my bargain. Just get me out of here, it's suffocating me."
"But it wasn't a few minutes ago," Rumi said with raised brows.
"That was because I had no hope you will keep to your words by releasing me so now, I am suffocating here so let's get out of here before you have a change of heart." Sarah reminded Rumi.
"Just to be sure," Rumi said mostly to herself as she made a golden bracelet appear on the left wrists of Sarah, taking the woman unawares.
"What is this Rumiana?" Sarah asked as she saw the golden bracelet on her wrist.
"Oh just something I can use to control you and keep you in check and when you run away from me, this bracelet will bring you back to me," Rumi said with a smile which brightened up her face.
"So you don't trust me, your own mother?"
"I don't even trust myself Sarah so how can I trust you? The bracelet will be a second option when you fail to keep to your promise," Rumi said with a much larger smile. "So in other words, don't dare me mother." she added with a colder threatening voice, smile gone
Sarah couldn't argue with Rumi. If not that, nearly all her powers were taken away from her by Rumi, who is Rumi to talk to her in such a way or threaten her. She blamed herself for letting her guard down on Rumi when she was little, who knows such a little girl will have such a plan of stealing and imprisoning her down here for who knows how long.
"I won't dare you child," Sarah said with a forced smile.
"Good, because one mistake and then you will be gone and this time for good. Don't make me kill you, mother."
"I won't Rumiana," Sarah said as she smiled lightly, only if Rumi knows.
"Let's go," Rumi said and grabbed hold of one of Sarah's hands and went back to her room. When she opened her eyes, she saw Sarah in her room looking around. She gets up to her feet and snaps her fingers bringing Sarah's attention to her.
"You still live here with him?" Sarah asked as she recognized whose house they were in.
"Of course, where do you expect me to live? The street of Ashland?"
"Forget I asked that question Rumiana, so where is the boy you love."
"I told you he is in the Palace and please do not call me Rumiana, my name is Rumi. Everyone here calls me that."
"No problem Rumi, just get me close to him to take either his hair, fingernails, spit or blood from his body. For the spell to work we need something from his body." Sarah explained. "But for it to work stronger we will be needing his blood." she added.
"I can get you close to him to take his blood out," Rumi said after a few minutes. "And I just know how to." she added with the plan running through her mind as she stared at Sarah with a grin.
"How?"
"Like this," Rumi said and clapped her hands, Sarah transformed into a beautiful yellow butterfly. "This will be better, he won't suspect you when you perch on him to bite him." She added, very pleased with her plan.
"Is this what you can come up with, a butterfly?" Sarah asked, her voice high.
"Yes, this is perfect. No one will ever notice. You will know him when I start talking to him or I will inform you through my mind. Don't make any mistakes mother. I made your teeth sharper to able you suck out his blood," Rumi said and left her room. She went to Emera's room, opened his wardrobe and began to pack his clothes into a a small bag that she saw inside the wardrobe.
"Where are you taking those clothes too?" Sarah asked.
"To the palace, apparently, Emera will be living in the Palace from now onwards. I won't be able to touch him there you know, I will have to be a good daughter so that Storm can see me. He likes Emera even though he hates Juno," Rumi said, leading the way out of the house.
"Can you show me Juno, let me see her hideous face."
"She is beautiful," Rumi said, hating herself for admitting that. "And if the spell fails then I will have to do something about her face. Maybe it's because of her face Storm can't even glance in my direction even though I am more beautiful than her." she added with a jealous voice.
"Oh don't worry Rumi, you will get your man." Sarah assured her as they left the compound. She flew close to Rumi taking note of everywhere. A lot hasn't changed but someone who is still a prisoner has changed.
Sarah thought as she finally perched herself on Rumi's shoulders.

Ashland Palace:
Empress Rose Room:
Storm saw Rose coming out of her room with Fred following suit. Seeing Storm, she moved out of the way and waited for him to walk past her which he didn't.
"Where are you going?"
"None of your business Storm, am I not allowed to stroll the palace with my son again?" Empress Rose asked, crossing her arms across her chest and standing comfortably staring at Storm with a twisted expression on her face.
"I came to see you."
"What for?"
"Rumi told me a lot of things but what baffles me the most is that when she came for you for help, you didn't help her."
"Help her with what?"
"Emera was owning a lot of people and I don't know why he became like he is now, but when she came for you to help her by giving her some money, you refused," Storm said, his eyes never leaving Empress Rose face and when he got her facial reaction he was expecting from her, he shifted his gaze to Fred.
"Whoever told you that is lying. Rumi never came to meet me for help. I would have gladly do that if she had after all Emera late wife was my friend so yes I would have helped if she asked me but she never did." Empress Rose brought his attention back to her.
"So you're telling me Rumi never came to meet you for help?" Storm asked.
Why did Rumi lie against Rose?
Storm thought to himself.
"Yes, never for once has Rumi set foot in this palace except recently, probably because of you," Empress Rose said to him.
Storm nodded his head and left her and headed straight to Morgan's room. Luckily for him, he saw Morgan in his room.
He has some scores to settle with him.
