❤️ A Man Called Storm (Part 40) ❤️
Seeing his room door opening to reveal Storm, Morgan was surprised when he saw him. Closing the door behind him, Storm's eyes hardened on him and he started moving towards Morgan.
"Yes, I did not remember sending for you or asking you to come to my roo-" Morgan didn't complete his statement when Storm fist met with his jaw sending his head flying to the left. Morgan, who wasn't expecting the punch, felt the pain and staggered a little before steady himself.
"What was that for, fool?" he asked with a heated glare as his fingers trace the line of his jaw to be nothing was broken. It wasn't broken but the pain he was feeling was much.
"That's for making Gwen cry. Seriously, I don't know why Gwen hasn't given you a thorough beating but let me warn you, stay in your lane Morgan." he warned Morgan.
"Well tell her to leave me alone. It is not a must to love her. She should be ashamed of herself forcing a love on someone who doesn't even have an atom of feelings for her in return. So please warn your idoit stupid friend to stay away from me and leave me alone. I will never love her, not now, not ever. She should get that into her thick skull and stop disgracing herself. She is definitely not my type and will never be." Morgan bellowed in anger, his teeth grinding together as he clutching his hands to a fist, his eyes not leaving Storm. He was taken unawares before by Storm but won't this time around. He was ready for him.
"I don't blame you," Storm said, shaking his head. "I blame Gwenevere who is just blinded by her love for you to see the horrible you. You don't deserve her and her pray whatever feelings she has for go away."
Morgan felt bad for saying what he said but couldn't stop the words from coming out from his mouth.
"That's better, and please tell her I don't mingle myself with dirt if she hasn't figured that out yet." he added. "So tell her to fu.cki.ng leave me alone, I will be more grateful if she does that."
Unknown to them, Gwen stood outside the door and heard everything. In fact she wasn't the only one who overheard their discussion, his guards guiding his door all heard everything. She left willing herself not to start crying, again.
Storm stared at Morgan unbelievably. "I will surely tell her that."
Morgan wanted to scream out 'No' but instead he found himself saying. "That's even better. Now get the hell out of my room."
"I just hope you don't regret this."
Huffing out in annoyance. "I won't, now leave my room."
Storm left Morgan's room.
*************
Storm entered his room, still angry at Morgan but halted in his movement when he saw Gwen, smiling at him.
"Why are you smiling like that?"
"I thought you said you wouldn't fight Morgan?"
"I was until I realized the only time you cried this much was your father's death so it must be very painful and I went to make him feel the same pain you had felt."
Gwen's smile widened up more. "You are a good friend Storm," she said her eyes dazzling with happiness.
"And so are you Gwen," Storm said and then with his no-nonsense face. "And please, forget him, I don't think he is the one for you."
"Look at who is talking, have you ever been in a relationship before to know who is the right one or not?"
"Are you talking about me or yourself? Look Gwen," Storm said and closed the distance between them, placing his hands gently on her shoulders. "Do not make a mistake." he added and dropped his hands to the side. "Now leave my room, I need to think, alone."
"Nah, I am not leaving. You haven't told me of your discussion with your Empress."
"There is nothing really to talk about. I asked some things Rumi told me and it turned out to be lies. Rumi lied to my face Gwen and I believe Rose,"
"So what are you going to do? Pretend or let me roughened her up for her to confess why she lied?" Gwen said suddenly in the mood for trouble.
"No, you will do no such thing Gwen. Let me handle it myself."
"Well suit yourself Storm, I'm out of here," Gwen said with raised hands up as she walked past Storm.
"..." Storm opens his mouth to say something as he turns around to face Gwen, at the same time Gwen turns around to face him, still walking backwards.
Interrupting Storm gently. "And no I am not going to see Morgan. Relax Storm, I have self-respect. I haven't spent more time with our brothers so that's where I am off too." She added and left the room. No sooner had she left the room, someone knocked on his door.
"Who is it?"
"My Emperor, Lady Rumi has returned to the palace with Lord Emera belongings and she requested for your presence." a voice replied to him.
"Okay, tell her to give me a few minutes morei will join her soon, I will meet her in the room Emera is in," Storm said and heard the retreating feet of the person. He quickly took his bath and changed into one of his father's clothes making him look like the Emperor he is.
He left his room and walked straight to the room Emera was in, ignoring the guards stares and only nodded his head as he responded to their greetings. He soon arrived at the front of the door and walked in without knocking, he saw Rumi and two servants in there.
"I brought his clothes like you ordered Storm," Rumi said sweetly, showing him the bag that contains Emera clothes, hoping that Storm will be impressed with her.
'Why did you lie that Empress Rose threw you out of the palace when you came to meet her for help?'
The question burned his lips as he fought himself to keep quiet. He nodded his head and forced himself to smile at her.
"You did good Rumi."
Rumi's heart flutters at the smile on Storm's face. Her eyes not leaving Storm's own as they stare into each other's eyes but she could sense the butterfly around.
'Have you forgotten yourself so soon that you forgot what to do? Bite him now that he is staring at him.'
Rumi willed her thoughts towards Sarah who perched herself on Storm's shoulder. The clothes he was putting on made it very difficult for her to gain access to his throat so she flew towards one of his hands and perched on it bringing Storm's attention to it.
Staring at it for a while, he lifted up his other hand and briefly touched it. "This is beautif-" he didn't get to complete his words when he moaned out in pain and the butterfly flew away to perch at something in the room.
"Are you okay?" Rumi asked with a pretend concern. With her experience with Storm, she didn't move to meet him and Storm was a bit happy she was learning.
"Yes I didn't know butterfly bites," Storm said, staring at the blood coming out from his back hand. Cleaning it with his other free hand. "Anyway, please make sure you return home early." he added and left the room.
"Please I need a moment with my father, can you excuse us." Rumi said and her eyes shone red and the two servants bowed before her.
"Of course my Lady," they said and left the room.
Going over to meet Emera she peer into his face and smiled in gratification when he was still sleeping but to be sure, she moved her left hand over his face putting him in a deep sleep. She went to the door and locked it.
"I hope you took enough of his blood before he swatted you away from his hands?" Rumi asked as she transformed the butterfly back to Sarah.
Spitting out the blood in her mouth to the ground, Rumi stared at the blood on the ground and raised it up to mid-air then made it disappear.
"They are safe back home. Once we are home, you will start the spell immediately."
"I didn't even get a thank you for the job I did perfectly well," Sarah said and with a pensive look. "Rumi, there is something you need to know."
"I'm listening."
"Storm's blood is strong and it may or may not work," Sarah said. Once she tasted his blood, he reminded her of someone from the past.
Could it be that he returned?
She wondered in thought. Staring at Storm before he left the room, his eyes looked like that of him.
"And why do you say so?" Rumi asked, bringing Sarah out of her thoughts.
"I just told you, his blood is strong for it to work."
"And how do you know that Sarah?"
"I existed before you and I do know how things work. For the spell to work you will need his approval but since we stole his blood from him without his permission, it might backfire at you."
"I don't care, you are going to do the spell Sarah or else."
"I didn't say I won't do it Rumi, I am only trying to make you aware of the danger that lies on it."
"Well I don't care, you must do the spell or else...."
"Don't threaten me child, if not for circumstances who are you?" Sarah said in anger and then her face relaxed. She had tasted his blood and felt a bit of her powers returning but she wouldn't dare take his blood again without his permission. If he is who she thinks he is, then taking his blood will be harming herself to death. "We will need some ingredients too, a rare flower, and they are not in Emera's house or in this Palace. They are somewhere in Ashland Kingdom so I will be back." she added.
"If you dare run away..."
Interrupting her. "I won't, after all you put these bracelets on my wrist. Now would you at least grant me the power to transform back into that butterfly and back to myself. It's the least you can do for the help I am about to render to you free of charge."
"Fine," Rumi said and touched Sarah's forehead briefly. "You can change to the butterfly at will and change back to yourself when you want to. Now go get me my flower and come back to my father's house as soon as possible. I shall be waiting for you there." she added and opened the closed window.
Sarah changed back to her butterfly and flew out of the closed window and flew towards Kudarma. There wasn't any flower like she told Rumi, she had only made that up so that Rumi can free her and let her search for it.
Removing the sleeping spell she had casted on him, Rumi left the Palace.

Kudarma Kingdom:
It took several minutes for Sarah to reach the Palace of Dean and flew towards the prison that held Adaoh. Flying past the guards at the front of the prison with ease, she entered the building and stopped at the door.
Changing back to herself, she opened the door that leads to Adaoh room. She. knows how the magic of the door works because she was the one who had built the prison.
"I told you I don't know the man you showed me," Adaoh said, sitting down on her bed, her eyes glue at a book she was reading
"I am not Dean you know," Sarah said and smiled widely when Adaoh quickly glanced up to look at her in shock. "Oh you were not expecting me, I can see that in your eyes."
"Sarah." Adaoh whispered.
"That's me," Sarah said, her smile gone. She thought she would see Adaoh in a horrible shape like Rumi had put her too but was surprised when she saw Adaoh was in a very good shape. Her beauty was still there.
"And here I thought Dean would have designed your face for me."
"In your dreams," Adaoh said and stood up to her feet. "Where is my daughter you are hiding?"
Sarah laughed at that, "You did so poor in giving Emera your daughter to hide her away from me Adaoh. In the end I got to know where she was living and I must commend you for keeping Dean in the dark about your daughters."
"Where is my daughter you took from me?" Adaoh asked again.
"She is with me and I will say she is a better version of myself, I made her so," Sarah said with a grin. "But that is not the only thing that brought me here. I know you gave birth to triplets, where is she? Where is your third daughter?"
