❤️ My Hostage (Part 10) ❤️
Kando wasn't expecting Gwen's next punch which landed on his mouth which split his lips.
"Are you always like this? When are you always serious?" Gwen asked, getting up from him and leaving his cell, locking it. "Don't you have anything else to say? What is with you and s*x?"
"Gwen," Kando said, getting up on his feet and walking to hold the iron bars that separate him from Gwen. "I am sorry okay, I was joking with you."
"Oh so it's Gwen now, didn't know you even knew my name."
"I know your name," Kando said, using one of his hands to wipe off the blood trailing down from his lips. "I just prefer to call you Beautiful."
"..." Gwen opened her mouth to speak but shut it when she saw Storm and Kira approaching them. Since her cell was opened, he pushed her in and locked it.
"What did she do?" Gwen asked Storm.
"What makes you think I did something wrong?" Kira huffed out.
Gwen shrugs, "I wasn't talking to you."
"I don't know what she did but I saw Morgan about to fight her before I intervened and saved her sorry ass." Storm said, staring at Kira and was, well, expecting a thank you from her.
"You should have left me to deal with that nincompoop."
"Well excuse me for trying to help you out so that he doesn't end up hurting you."
"I never ask for your help, dumbass."
Strom glared at her. "If it wasn't for me you could have still been there, getting your butt kicked by Morgan."
"He is not the only one who is good at kicking butt."
"You are being ungrateful and arrogant, you should be thanking me for saving you."
"Why should I thank you? For what? Did I beg you high and mighty Storm? Thank you for what I ask again?"
"....." Storm opened his mouth to fire back but Gwen stopped him.
"Storm please act your age and stop arguing like a child."
Storm turned to look at Gwen and blinked at her. Kira stared at her.
"I am not arguing like a child, I am only telling her, her wrong. It's called common sense Gwen," Strom said, trying to explain himself as his anger faded away.
"I can't believe you are actually listening to what this dummy here is saying."
"Who are you are calling dummy, uh dumb-bell?" Gwen asked with narrowed eyes.
"Who else if not you of course bonehead."
"I am going to remove all your teeth from your mouth so that in your next life you will be born a toothless jackass."
"Oh bring it on but I can assure you that by the time I am done with you, no one would recognize you."
"That is it!" Gwen yelled and made to move towards Kira when Storm grabbed hold of her waist, stopping her. As much as he would love to see Gwen beat up Juno, he doesn't want either of them to get hurt. Now who is the child here?
"Let go of me Storm," Gwen said struggling in Storm's arms.
"Don't listen to he, Gwen," Storm said, still holding Gwen who was struggling to get out from his grip and deal with the smirking lady inside the cell.
"Yes, don't listen to me Gwen. Keep holding her old man until you grow old, that's the only thing you are good at, holding." Kira mocked.
Releasing Gwen from his hold Storm stared at Kira in anger and this time around, Gwen was the one holding him back from attacking Kira.
"Let go of me Gwen," Strom said with gritted teeth.
"Not until you have calmed down," Gwen said.
"I am calm," Storm said, taking a deep breath to calm himself down. Gwen released her hold on him carefully, "Let's get out of here before I do something I would regret." he added and left and Gwen quickly followed him.
"That was...." Kando, who has been quiet and observing things, paused. "Surprising."
"Why do you say so?" Kira asked, staring at the door Strom and Gwen had passed a moment ago.
"He could have done something to me by now if I was the one talking back to him, but with you, it's different. He just doesn't want to hurt you even though he wants to hurt you he can't bring himself to do that."
"I also saw that, but it's none of my business. Let's leave this place, I am fucking tired. We go home and tell Dean that we failed. He didn't even tell us that there is a third brother."
"We kill them tonight and before sunrise tomorrow we are out of here," Kando said. "So why did they carry you out of the cell?"
"Just to question me and probably wound me if I refuse to talk."
"And?"
"And nothing, before I would teach the fool a lesson, Storm came and carried me back here," Kira said and smirked. "Was she the one that did that to your mouth?"
"Yeah, for a skinny girl like her, she surely has a fist made of iron," Kando said and then shrugged, "Get some rest and probably some sleep, we are making a move tonight." he added and went back to his former position on the floor.

"Storm always stands in our way and I am tired of this mother," Morgan said. "I thought you said he didn't know she was here?" He added in an angry manner.
"I did unless maybe he saw the guards bringing her here." Empress Rose defended herself.
"What are we going to do?" Morgan asked.
"I would have asked for Rica's husband's help but he is with Dean and Dean sent those two down to Ashland for reasons we don't know yet," Empress Rose said. "I suggest we let it be for now and see what Storm has in store for us." she added after a while of silence.
"I can't believe you are saying this mother," Morgan said and left their presence.
"What does he want me to do? I have tried everything I can think of but nothing worked. It pains me to say this but we have to let Storm be until we know when to strike. If my husband wasn't dead, he wouldn't have returned to torment us with his presence."
"You are right," Warlord Marcus agreed.
"I am always right Marcus," Empress Rose said, rolling her eyes at her brother. "Come on Fred, let's go."

Storm Room:
"I can't believe we let her get under our skin," Gwen said, crossing her arms across her chest, "And you didn't even hurt her but if it was Kando you would have removed his head from his body."
"This is harder than I thought Gwen. I thought it would be very easy for me but I thought wrong," Storm said. "What am I going to do now? I am standing in the middle of nowhere, trying to find my father's killer and also why Juno doesn't remember who she is." He added pinching his nose.
"Have you checked on her father, maybe he is the only one who could, you know, do something about her lost memory."
"True, let's go check on him."
They left the room and head towards the room Emera was in.
When they entered the room, Storm halted in his movement when he saw Emera sitting upright and drinking water from the cup he collected from one of the servants assigned to stay with him. His sudden pause made Gwen collide with his back, stepping aside to glare at him.
"You should have given me a sign," Gwen said, rubbing her nose and also noticed why he'd stop.
"When did he wake up?" Storm asked.
"Not too long my Emperor," one, out of the two servants, replied.
"And you didn't inform me?"
"He asked for water."
"And two of you went to get it?" Storm asks in anger.
"Strom is that you?" Emera asked, clearing his throat as he looked at a grown up Storm. His eyes weren't deceiving him.
"Yes, it's me, uncle Emera."
"You have grown into a handsome tall young man," Emera said and the loud snort from Gwen brought his gaze down to her. "Your wife?"
"No," Storm said.
"As if," Gwen said. They spoke in unison.
"Do I know you?" Emera asked Gwen as he narrowed his eyes on her. She looked like someone he knows. In fact he remembered the person, he just had to be sure.
"My father trained him."
Recognition clouded Emera eyes as he regarded Gwen. "You've grown to be beautiful, I can't believe I am seeing you. Now I know why you look so familiar to me." Emera said with a smile and then looked around him, his smiling, trading place with a frown, "Why am I in the Palace?" he asked and looked down on himself, he saw the bandages on his body and turned a questioning eye on Storm. "Was I injured? I don't remember fighting anyone and not to talk about getting injured."
"Should I throw a parade before you both will get out of the room?" Storm asks the two servants that are still there. Apologizing, they hurriedly left the room and Storm locked the door after them and gave Emera his full attention.
"What do you remember?" He asked.
"I remember nothing," Emera said as his head throbbed with pain. Then a memory came to him. "I remembered you leaving and Juno was attack-" he paused mid-way as his eyes flew wide. "Juno died and that's all I can remember. Rumi should be in a better position to explain to you, and speaking of her, where is Rumi?"
"Juno is not dead." Strom told him.
Shaking his head sadly even though he wished the words were true, "Juno is dead Storm, as hard you find it to believe. I buried her with my own hands, Storm. She was attacked and killed by an unknown killer," Emera said, closing his eyes and not noticing the tears that fell down from his eyes.
"Juno is still alive, Uncle Emera and she is in Prison, this Palace prison," Storm said and when Emera opened his eyes, he saw doubts in it. "Perhaps let me start from the beginning, at least to know the reason why I am here in Ashland."
Few Minutes later.......
Emera was shocked as he cleaned his tears. "Are you telling me that Ariadne, your father, is dead and has been buried?" Storm nodded his head. "And Juno is somehow alive with no memory of her childhood life?" Storm and Gwen nodded their heads at the same time. "But if Juno is in the prison like you said then who is the one I buried?"
"There is only one way to find out Uncle, you are going to talk to her and maybe she will remember who she is when she sees you."
"But how did Ariadne die? He was the best and he was the strongest, even his Ninjas were protecting him, I find it hard to believe he is no more."
"Even me. He didn't die a natural death Uncle Emera, he was murdered in his sleep."
"There is something still unclear to me, if all these were happening, what was I doing? Where was I?"
"According to what Rumi said, you are a chronic drinker."
