Lorenzo’s death
They got to the meeting site, the helicopters landed on an heliport not so far from the sea.
Roberto strutted to the sea and his escorts followed him. He was three minutes earlier than the time he had given Lorenzo.
Roberto climbed up his feedermax ship and sat on a chair one of his escorts had placed on the deck.
He sat impatiently and checked his multimillion-dollar wristwatch. It was 12:04 pm.
Lorenzo was 4 minutes late.
Still trying to keep calm, he sighted almost seven cars driving to where they were.
“Bring Greta immediately.”
Roberto ordered the man that stood next to him. His escort gave him a bow and walked to where they had parked the helicopters.
Roberto looked at that direction and saw Martina causing trouble with the men he had assigned to watch her and her sister.
“What is she up to this time?” Roberto asked himself. Vincenzo lowered himself and whispered into Roberto’s ears.
“Martina said she wouldn’t stop causing troubles until they are fed. She said her sister is beginning to grow weary.”
Roberto heaved a sigh, he watched Lorenzo Ferrari walk with swagger to where he was.
“Such guts for a pig like him.”
“Get them something to eat and keep that b**ch’s mouth shout, if she is still a pain in the ass… Shout her.”
Roberto instructed Vincenzo, he kept his eyes on Lorenzo who sat on the chair in front of Roberto.
“Where is my daughter?” He asked in rage. He had brought more men, but Roberto wasn’t shocked, he was fully prepared too.
Roberto said no words, instead, he turned his head to look at Greta who was staggering towards them because of the way his men held her. He had a gun placed on her head.
“Let go of her!”
Lorenzo sprang to his feet and the more than the ten men that stood behind him pulled out their guns and pointed them at Roberto. Roberto’s men did likewise.
Roberto scoffed with an evil grin on his face. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
“You allow these papers to pull their gun at me?”
Lorenzo took a step closer and Bruno put his hand on the trigger, making him stop abruptly. Great stared at her father in fear, tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Relax. I didn’t do anything to her, at least not until we are done talking.”
Roberto looked at Lorenzo with a smirk.
“You will not lay your hands on her!” Lorenzo yelled.
“Ten years ago, my father gave a contract to you. You were to sell five tons of Cocaine worth $150M, you signed the contract which stated that you would be taking thirty percent of this pay.”
Roberto stood up, he stretched his hands to Greco and Greco passed him the files with him.
Roberto collected the file and walked up to Lorenzo. He got in close range with him and threw the file at him.
“Check it out to see if I’m mistaken.” Roberto paced in front of him.
“What do you want? Your father is dead, the contract was terminated automatically.” Lorenzo defended and Roberto let out a humorless laugh.
“I never knew you were so stupid. My late father, the great Giovanni had always done and written everything contract in my name.”
“In that file, is my name and signature. So I am here to collect what is mine.”
Lorenzo’s eyes widened, he picked up the papers in a rush and glanced through them. His eyes widened as he realized Roberto said nothing but the truth. He became dumbfounded.
“I want you to hand over my money in cash. The sum of $105M is all I ask, and your beautiful daughter would be in your arms.
“What?! Where do you expect me to get such an amount of money? It’s been ten years Roberto.”
Lorenzo barked.
“And when my father died you thought you could just take all the money? I have been so patient and given you time to repent but you are one stubborn man.”
“Now listen and listen good, it is $105M or your precious daughter. Or maybe, she isn’t even worth that price!”
Roberto laughed hysterically, he was having so much fun.
“Father please give him the money! I’m scared!” Greta cried out. Lorenzo became unstable, he had the money but he couldn't just give it to him.
“Can you please give me some time? I need to gather the money, I have nothing now.” Lorenzo begged calmly.
“That wouldn’t be possible. I need my money now, or I’m going to kill her.”
Roberto looked at Bruno, and Bruno moved his finger to the trigger again. He slowly began to pull the trigger.
“Wait!! I’ll give you the money!” Lorenzo yelled. He looked at one of his men and he ran to the car.
Roberto looked at Greco and moved his head, and Greco followed the man to the car.
Lorenzo shot Roberto a deadly look, but Roberto kept his smirk on.
“You lied about not having the money,” Robert uttered. Lorenzo said no words to him, all he did was look at Greta.
After a while, Greco walked back to Roberto with a large suitcase in his hand.
“Confirmed,” Greco whispered to Roberto’s ear and stepped back.
“It was nice doing business with you.” Roberto laughed.
“Let her go now!” Lorenzo said to Bruno.
“Not yet Mr. Lorenzo Ferrari. I have been in this business for years, I am not stupid. She will be released once we are safe to leave.”
Roberto walked out of the ship fully guarded by his men, they pointed guns at each other. Bruno kept the gun on Greta’s head and walked backward.
“Don’t shoot!” Lorenzo yelled at his men. They kept their guns up none of them made the mistake of shooting.
They got to the helicopters and Roberto climbed in. Martina sighted Roberto from the helicopter she was in, she was watching everything even though she heard nothing they said.
She wasn’t concerned about their discussion, she was more worried about Greta who had a gun pointed to her head.
“Won’t they let her go?” Caterina asked no one in particular. She wasn’t expecting a response.
Vincenzo shook his head and heaved a sigh, Martina and her sister had been a pain in the ass since he gave them food.
Roberto and all his men including Bruno got into the helicopter, they had their guns pointed at Lorenzo and his men, and some pointed theirs at Greta.
They took off and Lorenzo watched them leave, he focused more on Greta. He prayed Roberto wasn’t going to shoot her.
“Oh God, please save Greta.” Martina prayed as she shut her eyes tight. It was that time again, she was back to screaming.
After they were in the air, Lorenzo’s men began to fire.
The helicopter's bodies were bulletproof, and the doors were closed. Their firings did nothing.
Roberto looked at his sniper and gave him a nod. He stared at Greta from the window and watched her run to her father.
My sniper pulled the trigger and the bullet traveled straight to where Lorenzo was standing. The bullet hit him on the head and he fell to the ground.
Roberto let out an evil smile and looked at his sniper.
“Good job.”
Greta halted as she saw her father fall to the ground. She was dumbstruck with terror, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
She was eye-wide with astonishment, she couldn’t move.
His men ran to where his body lay and carried him.
Greta began to feel dizzy right there where she stood, her eyes closed and before she knew it, she fell to the ground.
She was unconscious.

“… What do you mean he left already! You were supposed to head there immediately I called!”
Alberto paced in his office. Lucia was back and she was pretty pissed he was still unkempt.
“F**k!”
He picked up the cup on his desk and threw it against the wall. Lucia flinched as the cup made a loud shattering noise.
“Calm the f**k down Alberto! You are sharing the hell out of me!” Lucia cried. Alberto held his forehead with his hand.
The sleeve of his shirt was rolled up roughly and he was barefoot. He was no different than a mad man.
“Where is he headed?” Alberto asked trying to stay calm.
“F**k!”
He grunted and dropped his phone on the table. He walked up to the wall and rested his head on it. He wasn’t himself.
“Look at yourself Alberto... What is wrong with you? You look like a mad man! Can’t you just give yourself a break?!”
“Why are you doing this to yourself? To me? Is she more important than I am?”
Lucia cried where she was seated.
“Don’t start Lucia.” Alberto muttered turning to look at her.
“Oh please… you made me go home to pick some clothes for you. I came back and you are yet to clean up! How can you think straight in an untidy environment hun?... Tell me.”
Lucia was so pissed as she talked.
Alberto fell to the ground and bent his head, hot tears heated his eyes as he began to weep.
“It's all my fault.”
Lucia heaved a sigh after seeing his broken Alberto was, she stood up from where she sat and approached him. She knelt in front of him and embraced him.
“I’m sorry… We will find her okay? She will be fine.” Lucia consoled. Alberto nodded and wept in her arms like a baby.
