The Servant
"Clary!!!" Mom called so I immediately run to the living room and see her watching the TV while eating snacks, Andrea, on the other hand, is busy polishing her own nails on the couch.
"Have you finished doing the dishes?" She asked when she sensed coming me near them.
"Yes, mom," I answered.
Dad isn't here because he goes to work every weekday.
"Good, now do the laundry." She ordered as she flicked her left hand.
"Done it, mom," I simply said.
"Already done?" She asked with disbelief "Okay, have you cleaned the backyard?"
"I did and I just finished it," I answered.
"How about watering the plants?" She asked once again.
"Done it too."
"Okay, now go and cook for our dinner." She said.
"But, it's just 2 in the afternoon mom. It's too early." I retaliated politely.
She faced me "I don't care, we will have visitors tonight. Make sure you do your job properly and make the foods delicious. Our guests tonight are very important. And oh, after you cooked, you eat early and go to your room.
Don't you ever go out, okay? Especially when the visitors have come." And then she once again faces the Television, watching the series that I don't even care what title about is.
I sighed, ever since, mom doesn't want me to face the visitors or any visitors who come in the house, she's ashamed of having a daughter like me... weak. She never even introduced me to anyone, I never felt like belonging to this family as a normal child but... I felt like a... slave.
"Yes, mom," I said looking down, and walked towards the kitchen.
‘And again, you'll let them do that to you, Clary?’ Cordia said trying to control her rage.
‘It's okay, Cordia,’ I replied.
‘You always say, it's okay Clary, it's not okay for me! And I'm hating you for that! Agh!’
‘Relax Cordia, I'm the one doing the work, not you, okay?’ I tried calming her.
‘Do you think our mate will let this happen to you?’ She asked with longings and sadness in her voice.
I suddenly felt my heart quenched. I'm already 21 and we haven't met our mate yet. Does he ever look for me? But I have Darren now, I hope it wouldn't complicate things in the future.

I took a deep breath, thank goodness I could rest now. I just finished cooking 5 different dishes, I have also prepared apple juice in case someone will look for juice other than wine, I hope mom and dad will be satisfied with my works.
After preparing all the dishes, I went upstairs to my room and directly proceeded to the bathroom to take a bath. It's been a week since I last met Darren and things are doing good, as of now.
‘Doing good... don't lie to yourself Clary, as long as you're here in this house, there is nothing good!’ Cordia nagged.
I took a deep breath calming my wolf, "Since they don't need me tonight, wanna go for a run, Cordia?" I asked calmly.
‘That would be the only good thing that will ever happen today, Clary.’ She said sighing.
I smile "Good."
After I took a bath, I went to my closet and looked for comfortable clothes. I took black jeans and a black shirt then I wore them. After wearing my clothes, I reached for my archer that is just near the window. I opened the window and since I'm just right on the second floor, I jumped down.
Well, I always have done this and I got used to it so, it's just a piece of cake because even though I'm a weak werewolf, I could still do things that made me feel strong.
When I reached the forest far from the house but, it was still in sight, I saw several luxurious cars coming and parked in front of the house... they must be the visitor's mom said earlier.
I looked up and see the starry night, it's already nighttime, I smile to myself.
"Let's enjoy our night too, Cordia." I said to my wolf.
‘Let's go, Clary!’ She yelled and I jumped into the air as my body shifted into a wolf form.
I didn't wait to see the visitors that as of now... they have not yet got out of their cars. I picked my archer using my mouth as I speed off and gone to the forest for a relaxing run.
We run until we reached the magical falls as I call it, this is very magical at night because the moon is reflecting the water falls resulting in it to light at night. The fishes are also emitting light which is called bioluminescence in science that made it more magical. I found this place 4 years ago, when I was looking for comfort.
I smile as I took a relaxing deep breath, this is what you called, Life. I decided to shift back into my human form and picked my archer, and since I hide arrows right on the top of the nearest tree, I took it.
This is a pretty good time for training. There is a river in front of me dividing another forest, and right on the other side is my target tree. This magical place is my practice place, I felt like my instincts and strength is kicking in every time I got here.
After few more shots, I decided to go back into the house, it's getting late. Mom and dad might look for me, and I have already promised them I will not go out without their permission, but that will just only be valid if I’m caught, as long as I’m not, I could do what I want at night when no one is watching me.
I fixed my archer and then shifted back into my wolf form, I could run faster and comfortable with this form.
As I was getting near into the house, I don't know why I felt so different, my wolf instinct is kicking in.
‘Do you feel that, Clary?’ Cordia asked.
‘What's wrong, Cordia?’ I asked back.
‘We'll see, let's go faster.’ She said and we ran as fast as we could.
When we get to see the house within a distance away from it, I can see several people outside. Most of them are men and black, with that formality... could it be that a leader has come into our house? Who might it be?
‘Don't you forget? Your sister's mate is the Alpha.’ Cordia answered.
‘Oh, yeah.’
I decided to hide into the nearest tree and shifted back into my human form. I also wore my clothes which I have had since earlier. I was about to come out of hiding and go to the house when suddenly, the door of the house opened which shocked me and my wolf as the most enticing scent covered my nostrils even in this farthest distance.
I could feel my heart banging in my chest.
‘Mate!’ Cordia exclaimed and I was left speechless.
