Chapter forty-one( I reject your rejection)

Mira's Pov:

"I am here to reject you…." I wanted the word to come out serious but it rolled out of my lips more like I wasn't ready, it came out like I was nervous. Which annoys me, I am here to reject him and I am not going back without completing this task.

"You want what!!......" He surprisingly uttered but masked his expression immediately before I noticed it. I just hope that he accepts this rejection. I know that it is going to be painful but I need to disentangle myself from him. It is better that I feel the pain of breaking the mate bond than being under his torture for eternity, it is better to feel the pain of the mate bond which won't last for long, than being mated to a demon.

"I want to reject you……" I mumbled.

"I still can't get you well," with a furrowed eyebrow he said in a mocking tone.

Swallowing hard, I straightened myself with my head up, I said as I stared into his eyes "I am here to accept your rejection……."

Staring at me for a few minutes, he burst into a very dangerous laugh. "Is that why you are standing in front of my room like a wretched being," with a devilish smile he glared at me.

His words pierced into my soul like lighting, I have to endure the pain and focus on rejecting him. He can't be toying with my life, I am also a human I'm bound to have emotion. He can't be treating me like trash, it wasn't me that mated us together because if I were given a chance to choose my mate. God knows that I wasn't going to pick him or have anything to do with him, I wish I could turn the clock back and insist on not getting married to him. The only thing my father could do was to be furious, I thought that I could have summoned the courage in fighting for myself. Assuming that I fought for my right I couldn't be here, I couldn't be in this mess. Even if my father gets annoyed at my decision and decides to banish me by turning me into a rogue it is better than being in this state of the dilemma of being mated to two dangerous twin brothers. I am damn sure that a rogue is far better than me, their only problem is that they are going to find it difficult without their pack and will be killed if they in any way come in contact with any pack members or territory. But what of me, that was already losing it? What of me that doesn't know if I could survive this pain and scar engraved deeper into my heart? A rogue is better than me because I am leaving like a rogue here. I wasn't wanted by my first mate and I am at the edge of being hated by my second mate once he finds out the truth. I am sure if I am a rogue I might be living the best of my life even if it wasn't going to be easy but it is better than staying here.

I could have been in my mate's arms by now if I could have chosen the path of being a rogue, the moon goddess might have honored me with a mate that will treasure and want me. I could have gone to the human world, where I will have peace of mind, though it was going to be hard. I believe that with time I am going to get used to it, and with time I am going to get used to their lifestyle. "What's the point when I will go into a rogue sooner……."

"I was waiting for you to come back so that we could end things," I muttered.

"Really….!!!" He snorts angrily.

Nodding my head, I mumbled "yes…..I am serious,"

"I didn't ask you whether you are serious or not, it is just that you are crazy….." He sarcastically said.

"What…….!!!" I surprisingly voiced out.

"When I said that you are not sensible, I meant it….." He snapped at me.

"What……what did I do?" I confusingly asked him, as I whimpered in fear.

"What makes you think that I will accept your rejection?" With a hazardous look, he asked me. I gulped down as his smirk deepened.

"But you have always wanted the rejection," I nervously whispered.

Glancing at me for a few minutes, he turned to his door holding the door handle. He stopped and veered around again and nonchalantly mumbled "What if I no longer want the rejection……"

"No oooo…..you can't do this," I half yelled, causing him to smirk.

"Accepting your rejection is going to cause you less pain, that means letting you go and you being senseless, you thought that I was going to accept it or let you go that easily……" with a taunting smirk he whispered as he leaned towards my ear, his breath twinkling my ear and cheeks. I suppressed the urge of sealing our lips together as I lustfully watched as they moved when he spoke, how he kissed me the other day flooded my head as I stared lustfully at them. How soft and tender they look, I remembered clearly how they tested like my favorite candy.

"What the fuck…..!!" I screamed at myself, I was supposed to reject him and not having a burning desire for him. His nose flared as he stared at me with a mischievous smile, I know that he smelled my arousal and this annoys the shit out of me. I fucking hate myself and this mate bond. A devilish smile flashed on his face, and his eyes turned a darker color before replacing it with a disgusted look.

"Nice one of being aroused for your darling mate but the truth is that your sweet mate doesn't want you….." He mockingly whispered to my ear, and my heart twisted badly at his words.

"You disgust me…….!!" He retorted with an irritated face. Pushing me a bit back, he tried opening his door but I stopped him. I have had a lot of this humiliation and I am not fucking going to continue going through the same pain every single day. I have to reject them to avoid him getting to me using the mate bond, I am a human being and not a punching bag or a laughing stock. He has shown me how much of a disgrace I was to him, how I am disgusting to him so there was no need to stay back and take this shit from him anymore. Since he wasn't going to reject and end this mess. Since he wasn't going to reject me, so that we can part ways as if nothing happened then I have to do it by myself. I was left with no choice.

"I Mira Parker, the Luna of the bright moon pack rejects you, Nicholas……..

I didn't get to finish as I found myself pushed suddenly to the wall. My head painfully hits the wall causing me to wince in distress.

With his face closer to me, as I could feel his mouth breath on my cheeks he dangerously let out a low growl " Don't you dare…….

"No!! I reject you, Nicholas….." I breathlessly cried out. I noticed a pain shot through my heart but it disappeared as he angrily growled "I reject your rejection……." before my face collided with a stinging slap.

"Haa……!!" I cried out while holding my cheeks, tears trailed down my face as I stared at the demon in front of me.

"I will never accept your rejection………" he snarled madly at me, causing me to shrink back in fear as I whimpered in agony.
