Chapter Fifty ( Obstacle )

Nengi's Pov:

I am Nengi, the girl you all have ever wanted to see. Mr. Philip is my father, the gamma of the bright moon pack, the smartest of them all,l and of course, I have to look like my father because a mighty lion can't give birth to a weak one. A lion can't give birth to a snake, we rule and we will always continue to rule. I am a beauty to behold, the moon goddess has honored and adored me with a beauty that fucking turns head, who could resist the beauty goddess like I? Absolutely no one, I mean no one, not even the twin brothers can resist me. This is one thing that the moon goddess had done that I appreciate, but my pain is when she didn't honor me as Nicholas or Derrick's mate rather she mated me to their personal servant **Lucien*** I can't see myself getting entangled with a servant, a nobody, despite him being the future beta but I don't have any interest in him. I can't even imagine myself being with him, he disgusts me. I want to be the future Luna of this pack, I want to be respected and treated like a queen and that's why I have to reject that idiot but my pain is when this fool rejects my rejection. He refuses to let me go, he is obsessed with me and this shit annoys the hell out of me.

My father is one powerful man that you couldn't dare to anger. He is calm, and slow but poisonous, he irks dangerous and harmful. He is a power-hungry creature likewise me, nobody dares us and go, scout, free. My mother has once tried us but where is she now? She lost her memories, was termed mad, and was finally thrown out of the pack territory. Her way about is something that we still didn't know but all I know is that she is somewhere running mad and all this is my father's handwork. He always has a solution to every single thing, even when the stuff seems dangerous. He still bravery follows the dangerous lane, he is strong and fearless. He deserves to be the Alpha. Alpha Den is a coward and doesn't deserve that title. Smiling when sipping my coffee, I muttered "But it won't be long before he joins his ancestors…..

The twin brothers haven't gotten their mate, so I will use this opportunity and grab one of them. I will go for Nicholas though I want Derrick. Nicholas is a coward just like his father, he is not a threat at all and can easily be wiped out of the way, unlike Derrick. I want him and once I get him, he will pay for stressing me but before that, I need to destroy that little wench of a girl called Mira.

I couldn't see myself telling my father that I am mated to Lucien, he will kill me. My dad and their family are not fond of each other, the two fathers are more like enemies. And my father is doing anything possible to destroy Mr. Peter the beta, just the same way that I want his son killed but anywhere, he is still a bit useful. I will keep using him to get information about the twin brothers and that imbecile of a girl. I will slaughter him once I am done using him but till then he will be used like the fool he was.

" Nengi, you there….." I snapped back to reality as someone called me. That voice I knew was my father's voice, dead, serious, and dangerous.

"Yes, dad, here I am….." Placing my coffee down, I slowly moved in his direction.

"How are you, my beautiful damsel?" With a fatherly smile, he asked.

Smiling sheepishly I mumbled "I am fine, father…..and what about you? Did you sleep well last night?"

His face hardened as he uttered "No…….

" Why….." With a confused look, I asked, "Everything ok, dad…."

Turning around with his hands on his back he started pacing around the room, "Everything is not well, we need to fasten up. That little bitch has found out about the rogues and I am afraid if more time is delayed he will find out about us….." He said in one go with a heavy breath.

"Calm down, dad, but we are working on it," I mumbled to him.

"No, we are slow….. We need to be quick before he strikes," he countered.

"He can't do anything, dad," I undoubtedly said though the word sounds unsure to me, we couldn't play with Derrick because he is like a fire that couldn't be easily tamed. Turning around with a force, he glared hazardously in anger before he snarled madly at me causing me to flinch back. "Ok, dad, easy……

"What do we do now," I asked, raising my hands in apology.

"Yes, that's what you are supposed to say and not behaving like a dummy," nodding his head, he growls in satisfaction.

"We need to come up with a plan and strike them before he does," with a wicked smile, he said.

"Why don't we just wipe him out of the way?" I said with annoyance, I can't deal with Derrick. He is strong and not that easy to get.

One of his eyebrows curled in anger as he stared at me "You think if it was that easy and I haven't done it, right?"

"But dad, if we try harder, we can do it," I persisted. Clearing his throat in a frustrated way, he focuses those frightened eyes on me "How do you plan on killing him?"

Opening my lips to talk, I instantly closed them back as no word was coming out of them. I embarrassingly glance at him.

"You see……" he let out a mocking laugh "You couldn't even tie down that small brat and here you are talking about killing his brother," he sneers at me. I quickly bent my head in shame.

"Sometimes I wonder if you are my daughter," his words caused me to jerk my head up as I gaped at him.

"Dad…." I surprisingly muttered "But I have been helpful and playing my role well," I murmured.

"Then what's taking so long?" He asked, annoyed.

Chewing my lips I mumbled, "Is that wench of a girl……"

"Which girl….?" With a furrowed eyebrow he asked.

"Mira….." I whispered with heads down.

"She is not a threat….." He let out.

"What!!......" I bewilderingly uttered.

"Yes, she is not a threat, you are just angry at her that's all," shrugging his shoulders he said.

"Though I never liked her….." He confessed.

"Am not….." I denied.

"You are….." He teased me.

"Am not!!..." I groaned in frustration.

"And you are……" he insists.

The routine continued for a while, noticing that my father wasn't going to give up, I retreated and gave up. What was I thinking arguing with him, he never gives up no matter how small the argument is. As much as I hate to admit it but I am damn jealous of Mira, check it she stole my honor and title. This isn't fair and I am not going to spare her for that, I will make her life miserable and painful that she couldn't do anything but wish for death. Even in the afterlife, I will keep tormenting her soul to ensure that she doesn't derive any comfort from any part of her body.
