Chapter fifty-one( Destruction)

Nicholas's Pov:

Standing in front of my window with a glass of wine in my hand, I watched the pack members go on with their duties. It has been up to four days that I haven't seen Mira, but I kept perceiving her scent around the pack house. I know that she is running away from me, it is impossible that she could have escaped. This pack is not somewhere that someone could vanish just like that, she should keep running but once I caught her I won't spare her.

Unhurriedly sipping my drink, and closing my eyes, the events of the other day flooded my mind. What took place in Derrick's room rushed into my senses, I swear I smelt her scent in there. Her scent was lingering around the room as if she had been there. It was fucking obvious that she was inside that room before we entered because her scent was still strong and irking out of Derrick's body which angers me.

"Why should my mates be all over Derrick?" Anger flickered in my eyes as I shut them open, I didn't know that I could play cool like I could resist the urge of breaking my brother's neck and pulling his head off his body. I know that he was lying, he knew what I was talking about because her scent was strong and was all over him and his room.

"What is she doing with only Derrick behind close doors?" Clenching the tumbler in my palms, I grit my teeth in anger as the image of them kissing and fucking flooded my head. Is that why Derrick took long before he opened the door? Is that why he couldn't respond to our calls because he was busy having fun with my mate, MY WIFE? I was outraged, this can't be possible. Smashing the tumbler forcefully at the wall I growled in bitterness and anger. Slapping my hands on my head I kept chanting in annoyance.

"This can't be possible…….

" This can't be possible………

"Derrick you can't do this……..

" Mira I will destroy you if I ever lay my hand on you……..

"Haa!!......." Punching the wall I groan in frustration.

"Not my brother, Derrick you can't be fucking my wife," with confusion and doubt I mumbled. "Mira!!!......... I screamed.

" I will kill you with my pair of arms," I snarled dangerously.

Sitting on my bed, with my head in between my palms, Derrick's words clicked into my head instantly **I have found my mate, Annabel……*** was he with his mate and I am here battling with myself but I could scent that Mira was in that room.

"Was Mira in the same room with him and his mate?"

"But what was she there with them?...... Or maybe she only accompanied his mate," different questions and answers kept bombing into my head. I felt my hand spinning, I felt the air around me heavy as I tried making out the meaning of what happened in Derrick's room.

"But why is my mate's scent on him?" My anger burned up as I recalled Mira's scent lingering from Derrick. "Bro, let it not be what I am thinking because you aren't going to like the outcome of your actions,"

I need more drink, striding towards my bar his word kept vibrating in my ears, is this why Mira wanted to reject me? But what could make her suddenly want to reject me? Laughing bitterly I poured my whiskey into another glass. Pausing halfway "But who is Annabel……?

" I haven't heard of the name, and it is not possibly Angel……

"The only pack member that Mira gets along with is no other than Angel or was it someone else……?

"Ouch!..." Slamming the whiskey bottle on the wall I grumbled in anger.

I am just tired of all these things, this girl is fucking driving me insane, she is complicated. The more I tried to stop thinking about her, the more I found my attention focused on her. She is making me insane without putting on any effort. I just want her out of my mind!!!

I want to make her suffer for choosing this marriage, I want to make her stay a living hell but here I was thinking about how to damage any finger that will touch her body "Stupid mate bond….." I growled, I need a distraction before I lose it. I seriously need to get laid. Gradually raising my head, I heard a knock at the door.

"Yes, come in," with a dangerous tone, I mumbled. I am damn sure that I wasn't expecting anybody today so who could the visitor possibly be?

Pulling the door open, Nengi walked in like she knew what I wanted right now. "Hello………" smiling seductively as she whispers in a lower tone. Smirking, I motioned for her to come closer.

"Hey, baby, you don't seem happy," lowering her head a bit as she stares into my eyes she asked. "Any problem?"

"I am fine, just stressed," I lied with a phony smile.

"And momma is going to make you feel better," she muttered, she surely knows how to make my day. I still wonder why the moon goddess doesn't bless me with a mate like Nengi, an innocent soul. Pushing her body flat on the bed, I pulled her shoes and yanked down her clothes. She kept staring seductively at me when nodding for me to proceed, sneering sinfully at her. I towered all over her as she shivered underneath me.

"You know how I like it, baby…… hard and rough," whispering as she grazed my earlobe with her teeth in a sensual way.

"Fuck!!...." I groaned as I thrust inside of her with force and rode her roughly, her moan and scream were heard in the room. I kept banging her hard as she cried out. I kept slamming her inside wall as I poured out my frustration in the sex, pulling out slowly I brutally thrust deeper inside her making her whimper as she cried out in pain. It hurts me that Nengi is the one that is going through this, she doesn't deserve all this but I need to forget about that wench Mira. This is also among the reasons why I will destroy her once I catch her, her life won't remain the same if I lay my hands on her. I know that Nengi was going to be freaking sore once we are done but I promise Mira she won't escape this time around.

"I will destroy you, Mira, just wait for me. I am coming for you……….
