Chapter fifty-two( You owe me an explanation, remember)

Mira's Pov:

"What the heck…." I jerked up as the door flew open. Staring at the person was no other but Angel.

"Gosh, you scared me….." Resting my hand on my heart to calm my heavy breathing.

"Can't you knock?" I asked amidst my breathing.

"Sorry, I didn't know that I would scare you," she apologized.

"Whatever, never mind," using my arms I motioned for her that it was nothing.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Am I no longer allowed here?" Forging confused and surprised, she asked.

Swallowing, I gaze at her "Why are you, Angel? I don't have all day,"

Shrugging her shoulders, smiling, she asked "Don't you think that you owe me an explanation?"

"I owe you no explanation, Angel," I mumbled.

"Really……?" With an unbearable smile, she uttered.

"Yes….." I answered back.

"What were you doing inside sir Derrick's room and at the same time laying on his bed?" She narrowed her eyes with her hands positioned on her hip.

Strutting towards my bed, I uttered "Is none of your business, besides you have no right to question me,"

"It is all of my business, come on, Mira, how could you almost get intimate with your husband's brother," she let out.

"Thank God you used the word almost," I voiced out.

"Come on, Angel I won't get intimate with my husband's brother, who do you think I am? A whore or what……." I mumbled to her as I strived to make her believe me, though I planned on telling her everything because I seriously needed someone to share my trouble with, to know my next move, to lessen this pain and burden but she seems strange at this moment. She looks hurt and mad which still baffles me because this is not a crucial reason to do this.

"I don't know who you are anymore," she answered back.

"Why are you like this?" I asked her confusingly.

Gradually raising her head as she fought back her tears, nodding her head, she focused her attention back on me "You are seriously asking me what's wrong with me? Really……

" Yes, Angel, I haven't seen you this worked up before," I calmly expressed.

"Fine, when you were inside his room, laying on his bed. Allowing him to touch, don't you remember all these questions," she lashes out with pain as resentment flickers in her eyes.

"DON'T YOU DARE!!....... I growl causing her to quickly tremble.

" Don't you dare talk to me in that manner, what I am doing in his room is none of your business," I snapped at her.

Cowering in fear, she glares at me "But you are married, how could you allow your husband's brother to touch you like that," The word slipped out of her life more like venom.

"ANGEL!!!......" I gape at her, I have never seen Angel this pained and furious. She has never talked to me in that manner or questioned my personality.

"How could you allow Derrick to touch you? You disgust…… I didn't allow her to finish before I slapped her.

" Haa!!!......." Holding her cheeks she stumbled back in utter disbelief.

"Angel look I am sorry, I never meant to, please," rushing towards her, I pleaded as I attempted to reason with her.

Squatting my hands away as they tried touching her face, "Leave me, alone…."

"Who are you?" She asked as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Don't make me look bad here, you caused this whole thing," I defend.

"How did I cause this whole thing? That I asked you a question," she inquired when rubbing the spot where I smacked her.

"Then Angel learns how to mind your business, I would love to explain to you what happened but………

I didn't get to finish before she jumps in interrupting me " I don't need your explanation, I saw everything. Everything with my own two eyes, so I don't need your explanation,"

Backing out I tried to calm myself and think positively about this condition before I might do what I will regret before I do what both of us might regret. I have slapped her and I don't want that to repeat itself.

"You know how I felt for Derrick but still you slide into his room and you want to call us sister," her words jerk me back, turning quickly and that's when it dawns on me. She has always liked Derrick but that's not my fault because I was also mated to him.

"Derrick….." The name escaped my lips.

"Yes, and don't pretend as if you have no idea," she latched at me.

"You can't have feelings for Derrick, he is already taken," I forced the word out of my lips as I clenched my fists not to snap her head out of her body. How can she have feelings for my mate? No!! Angel you can't cross your line, battling to stay calm here I murmured within me. I need to also calm my possessive wolf.

"Taken by who? You or what….. You already have Sir Nicholas, please leave Sir Derrick alone. Or do you want to bring problems to the two brothers? I thought you were good," she glanced at me as she sarcastically griped. Her words chanted deeply in my head. She was right. Do I plan on bringing problems to the twin brothers? Am I a good person or a bad person? As much as I hate to admit it, all her words were true but it wasn't my fault, I did nothing bad, I am not the moon goddess. Am I?

"And when did an omega start talking to her future Luna in that manner," shooting her deadly glare, I asked. This whole issue wasn't my fault but why is she making it look like I am at fault here.

"Luna indeed when you have an evil intention," she scoffs.

"Mind your language," with eyes shut I annoyedly mumbled, the warning and annoyance that was in my tone of voice were loud and clear.

"All I want to say is that Derrick is mine and mine alone," that one word that came out of her mouth was enough to get me at the edge. It was enough to outrage the demon within me, I allowed my wolf to take over as she luged towards her with a sudden speed before she could do anything and I pushed her towards the wall as she tightened my grip on her neck. She struggled for air as green veins were popping out of her head. The more she tries pushing me away, the harder it gets for her. I might have lost different tricks on how to fight off my opponents but there was never a time an omega could defeat a high-ranked member and talk more of overthrowing a Luna.

"I warned you…. Didn't I?" I glared murderously at her, she doesn't claim what belongs to me. For now, Derrick is mine till I reject them and cut ties with them. Will they now have him or his brother?

"Uhm…ple…." She stammered.

"Haa!!...." I pushed her harder to the wall as she cried out.

"Answer my question," I impatiently growl, she shrinks back in panic as her face turns pale. She looks like she was choking to death like life was draining out of her.

"Yea…." With a faint breath, she muttered tiredly.

"Good, now don't you ever question me again in your life. Do you hear!!" I lashed at her.

"Yes, yes, ple………" she pleaded as her eyes popped out of their socket. Releasing her I pushed her to the ground. Falling to the ground she holds her neck when trying to get enough air.

"Get out….." With my back on her, I grumbled.

"I said get out!!!!" I yelled, causing her to quickly scoot out of my room with force. Tears trail down my face as what happened, pang me deep in the heart, what just happened between Angel and me? If Angel could think like this, what will others think of me once they find out? My heart twists as I stare at my palms. How could I possibly want to choke Angel? I wasn't like this, we weren't enemies, what happened now. A sob escaped my lips as I lowered down with my face in my palm. I weep bitterly.

What have I gotten myself into?
