FLASHBACK
*
"What’s wrong? You’re back to the same Tee that you had become approx. a year ago." Michelle asked Tiara. "Got a breakup with your man again?" She carefully threw out another question.
"I don’t want to talk about it. It will be better if you mind your business, please." Tiara shut her down. Well, that was what she had been doing for the past month. She shut everyone down whenever people tried to ask about her life.
After that night, she wasn’t in Wylder’s touch, but there wasn’t a moment when she didn’t miss him. She cursed herself for ruining her friendship.
That night, she didn’t mean to end their friendship, just the thing that was going on between them, but it turned out the worst.
Wylder stopped talking to her or visiting her. They were still friends, right?
At the same time, she didn’t try to contact him because she was scared that he would end up asking for more and she wouldn’t be able to give it.
"I’m minding my own business, Tee. As your manager, I have to take care of your mental health as well. As I’m doing that, would you care to explain what’s wrong with you this time?"
"Nothing."
"You can share your problem with me, considering me a stranger. It’s not that I will judge you."
"I said, it’s nothing."
"Fine, if you don’t want to talk with me, then talk with your close friend about it instead of holding it inside yourself."
"I would have. But unfortunately, we are not on speaking terms right now." Tiara muttered, signing the contract for the advertisement of female perfume. Michelle had already read and understood all the terms and conditions.
"In that case, kill your ego; otherwise, it kills a friendship, Tee."
"I... uhh... he never contacted me after our argument." Tiara tried to justify
"Did you try to try to contact him?" Michelle questioned her. "I don’t know the full story, but you can’t blame your friend completely when you are doing the same. I don’t know what the topic of that argument was or who was right or wrong, but I do know that apologizing doesn’t always mean you’re wrong; it just means that you value your relationships more than your ego."
"You talk like my mom," Tiara muttered, rolling her eyes.
"Because I’m also a mom, and all moms in the world teach the same thing to their kids." Tiara nodded her head but didn’t say anything about that. Once she was done signing the contract, she thought over Michelle’s words.
That night, she never used the word end to end the friendship, but there could be a chance that he might have misunderstood her words.
"Dinner at my place at 9?" She sent him a text message. She sighed in relief when it was delivered. She waited for a moment for his response, but it didn’t come instantly. As much as she knew him, he didn’t have a habit of using his phone.
Well, werewolves didn’t need phones after all; they wouldn't mind being linked. So, it was obvious that he would reply to her once he was free.
At the same time, she wasn’t sure if he would come or not, but a part of her was positive that he would.
‘Tonight, I won’t make the same mistake. I’m not going to cook for him or anything, because he will think that I’ve started feeling something or anything for him.' She thought.

On the other side, Wylder read Tiara’s message again and again. He couldn’t understand this woman sometimes, even though he had spent one-third of his life with her.
‘I will suggest to you that you shouldn’t go.' Night growled in anger. ‘What does she think of herself that we don’t have any self-respect?’
‘Do you really want that?' Wylder asked him in a serious tone, and Night didn’t reply to his question. They had missed Tiara a lot if not less than she had missed him.
How did they know about it?
Well, they had kept an eye on her from a distance. Hell, Wylder had touched her multiple times in the form of air. So he wasn’t really away from her. It wasn’t just that she couldn’t see them.
Both Wylder and Night knew that she liked him, and this wasn’t the kind of thing that friends do to one another; this was the beginning of love, but Tiara wasn’t ready to accept that. She was holding on to her past so tightly that she didn’t want to move on.
‘We love her so much that even if we decide not to go there, our legs will take us there.' Wylder chuckled sadly.
'What do you think? Why is she calling us?'
