Chapter 17
Mofadesewa retired to her room just as she felt sleepy. She fell down flat on the bed with tiredness, today has been a really hectic one. Her date with Lanre was a nice memory, one she'd cherish for life.
Instead of going to a fancy restaurant or a classy environment, they went to a local bar, having drinks and cat fish pepper soup.
It felt so nice having to live the way she was living now and she didn't want it to come to an end. The door to her room opened, with tiredness she turned to look at the door.
"You are sleeping here?" Lanre asked her.
"Yes, isn't this my room?" She retorted.
What Lanre meant to ask was different from what he asked. He wanted to tell her to come sleep in his room but he didn't know how to go about it considering he told her this was her room.
"Hello!" Sewa called Lanre to get his attention. "Is something wrong?" She asked him.
"Uhm..nothing ...just you are sleeping here..." He trailed off. He was stuttering too much, something he wasn't used to.
"You want me to sleep on the couch like last night?" She asked him.
"No, not that. I meant aren't you worried about the voices you heard last night?" He asked her.
Sewa chuckled, she lied about the voices, she didn't expect him to believe and take the joke this serious. "There were no voices, I was just teasing," She said to him.
"I know but..." He took a deep breath. This should be hard, should it? He asked himself.
"You should sleep in the room where I sleep, that's what I meant," he finally spoke.
Sewa looked at him with a blank expression. She knew what he was talking about and she promised to punish him for it. He told her he'd give her privacy right, how about he gave it to her now? She thought to herself.
She gave him a lopsided grin, "This is my room and that is your room, You remember?' she asked him. "And if I remember correctly, you were giving me my privacy, weren't you?" She asked him. She was holding herself from erupting into a fit of laughter.
The expression on Lanre's face made her night and suddenly she wasn't feeling sleepy anymore. "That was different you know. Just forget it!" He said retreating from the room.
Once he was out of sight, Sewa erupted into a fit of laughter. That sure made her day. She brought out her phone, checking her WhatsApp messages.
She had 23 messages from 23 people but one was more appealing to her.
Denny ❤️: Priscilla said something and from the looks of it, Madam sandra awaits you.
Sewa knew this would happen and she was ready for it, she was ready for the step and she didn't mind the consequences attached to it.
Mofadesewa: I know. But first I need your help. There is a video of me and the senator son having sex and I want that video down!
In less than two minutes, she got a reply back from Denny.
Denny ❤️: You haven't taken that down yet! How could you lose your guard Sewa?! Don't worry about it, I'd work on that.
Sewa felt relieved, having someone like Denny was really a gift. Denny was definitely going to help her through. She was about to reply to Denny when she felt her bed dip. The cologne was Lanre. His arms wrapped around her from behind and she dropped her phone before she could reply.
"What are you doing here?" She asked him.
"If mountain doesn't come to Mohammed, Mohammed would go to the mountain, I'd sleep here tonight, right with you by myself and then I'd be at ease," He whispered. His long eyelashes were so attractive she wished they were hers.
She smiled, "I'm coming, let me quickly get this outfit off me," She said to him getting up from the bed.
Just as she was about to pull her dress off, she noticed Lanre's eyes were on her, she smirked when she remembered her second revenge. "Kindly turn around, i want to change," She said to him biting her lips from smiling.
"What? Go on and change, I'm not holding you," he replied.
Sewa coughed lightly, "You shouldn't be looking at me, you know last night you didn't and you turned around when I was taking off my dress. So do that once again," She said to him. She felt the urge to laugh but held it because she knew it wasn't necessary now.
So now they were in good terms, he suddenly wants to look at her and hold her; but when they weren't speaking to one another, she was suddenly unattractive. He was going to have a taste of how she felt last night.
"Are you seriously bringing last night words to today's activities?" He asked her.
"Of course. When you were mad at me, I was unattractive and now we are on good terms, you suddenly find me appealing?" She scoffed. "That means I am only attractive to you when we speak but when we don't, I'm not!" She said. She was intentionally getting on his nerves.
She just loves how his facial expression changes depending on what she said to him and somehow she was impressed. Everything he does no matter how he does it is amazing.
Lanre heaved a sigh, now he wished he hadn't controlled himself last night and just did what he wanted to do. In as much as he was angry last night, he was turned on and he wanted to hold unto her but knew it wasn't necessary.
"Can you please forget all that, I already bribed you, didn't I?" He said to her with a pleading tone. His voice sent warmth to Sewa's heart. She didn't hold any grudge against him but instead she wanted to see his facial expressions.
"I forgive you, okay! I was just kidding! You should have seen your face!" She chuckled. She gently pulled her dressed in a very slow motion, making sure to be seducing at the same time.
She bent down in a seductive way, making sounds all by herself intentionally to rile Lanre up. Once she was done, she turned to face him, intentionally pulling her bra, biting her lips in front of him.
Once her bra was taken off and her smooth protruding breast was in display for him to see, she smirked. She immediately turned on her back with a smile on her face.
"Don't think of doing anything funny because I am definitely not in the mood. You have work tomorrow, you should sleep early you know," Sewa said, looking for her nightie.
"Did I tell you I have a sleeping problem?" He asked her.
"Do you have sleeping problems?" She asked him back.
"Yes, I do. But according to the doctor, the name of my sickness is somniphobia!" He said.
Sewa chuckled, "Fear of what?" She asked him.
"The fear of going to bed. But the cure is..." He trailed off making Sewa curious.
"The cure is you. As long as I have you by my side, nothing matters," He said to her.
"Really?" Sewa asked, putting on her nightie. "That's good then, I'm glad I am your cure," She said to him laying down close to him on the bed.
She placed her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat.
"Why isn't it beating fast?" She asked him.
"What?" He retorted.
"Your heart should be beating faster around me but it isn't," She said to him. She was lying, she knew it was beating so fast but she wanted to tease him.
He claimed her lips, "You are starting to talk too much lately." Were his simple words.
