Chapter 12
Jason's ( P. O. V. )
Four hours later .
A four hour drive back to LA and I've never felt this tired in my entire life.
I regret not getting some rest.
I was busy rolling in the sheets with Maria instead of getting some well needed rest... But just remembering the moment Maria and I shared, causes all my fatigue to disappear, as my member twitches in my pants.
Just thinking about an intimate moment with Maria causes me to lose control...
Ah, I love her so much....
"Control yourself Peter just take deep breaths." I said to myself.
I turned to glance at Maria, she was sleeping peacefully, her hands under her head and I quickly averted my eyes before I cause another an accident like last time.
I'm driving towards my parents house.
They knew we'll be arriving today. We left Las Vegas at approximately 2pm and now it's 6pm.
I looked at the others in the rear view mirror, they were also sleeping peacefully, while I'm here awake, sleepy as fuck, driving them to my house.
I can't see how that can get any more unfair, but, Oh well I chose to be the driver, so I can't blame them.... or my sweet sweet Maria.
I'm so tired, that I didn't see the tree ahead, once I spotted it. I tried to turn, but it was too late.
"Ah, Jason!!" Maria screamed, the car hit the tree, but at least she didn't hit her head on the dashboard like last time.
"Jason, are you tryna' kill us like the last time or what." Maria questioned, her hand on her chest, I tried turning and successfully turned the car and parking near the pavement.
"I'm so sorry, I just didn't see the tree on time, and... I'm sorry guys, are you okay back there?" I apologised, glancing at the my friends.
"Yeah, we all okay Jason, but one question how the hell did you get your drivers license!" Lola remarked, running her hands through her hair.
"I-I'm really sorry." I replied ignoring her question and raked my hands through my hair.
I almost hurt Maria again....
I would never forgive myself if anything happened to her because of me....
"Maria, honey are you okay, are you hurt in anyway??" I asked, even though I don't see any injuries, I just wanted to make sure she's was okay.
"No I'm not..." She paused and then continued.
"Babe, I think you're tired, so why don't you step away from the wheel. I'll drive." Maria suggested.
"No, if I can't drive, you won't either." I retarded.
"What? why not... I have my licences?" Maria inquired.
"Ben can you please drive, we not that far from my parents house" I asked, turning to look at Ben.
"No problem, dude." Ben answered.
Ben and I got out of the car and I opened the door of the passenger sit where Maria is sitting.
"Come." I plainly responded, extending my hand towards here.
"I want you to sit at the back with me." I remarked and she smiled at me.
"Of course, honey." she replied and winked at me.
She intertwined our hands together and stood up from her sit.
"I guess I have to leave." Adam pointed out standing up from the back sit and sitting in front next to Ben.
Maria and I sat down at the back.
"Fancy seeing you two again." Maria remarked to Lola and Carla smirking.
They both laughed.
"Fancy seeing you too Camila." Lola responded, teasing Maria by using her second name.
"Not fair, Jason, they teasing me using my second name." Maria complained, looking at me with a sad expression.
I don't like seeing her sad...
"Lola stop it that's rude." I reprimanded her.
"Not fair you have Jason to fight for you and protect you, but I don't have anyone." Lola remarked, sadly.
"Don't worry Lola, I'll help you find your Prince Charming." Maria remarked and Lola smiled.
Maria has always had a wonderful way with words, she knows the right words to say to make you smile or make you forget everything that made you sad.
"And me?" Carla questioned, feeling left out.
"Oh, you too, Carla. I'll make sure you find your one and only...soon." Maria responded and they all hugged each other.
They sure are great friends....
I smiled has I watched them.
"Hey dude, we here but do you think, there's anyone here, the lights are off." Ben pointed out, pulling up at the front door of my parents house and the lights were indeed off.
"I think they just switched off the lights or something." I replied, secretly hoping that's true.
We all got out of the car, my body is so numb from driving and I stretched a bit.
We all took out our luggage from the truck and I knocked on the door but no one answered.
I opened the door and realized that it was unlocked.
"The door is unlocked." I said, looking at the others.
We all entered the house and I looked for the switch to turn the lights on and I finally found it.
"Jason did you find the light switch it's really dark in here?" Maria asked, her hands around my arm and I smiled.
She's so terrified of the dark...
"I found it." I announced and switch the lights on.
The room immediately erupted.
"Welcome back!!!" Everyone shouted and all of us gasped.
"So that's why the lights were off, well done y'all surprised us, alright." Adam remarked, he walked over to his parents and hugged them.
"Mama." Maria exclaimed, going over to her mom.
I walked towards my parents.
"Did you organise this?" I asked them, amazed at the decor.
They nodded and smiled at me.
"I missed you son." my mom responded, leaning in and hugged me.
"Missed you too mom." I replied.
I really did miss them, they are the most loving parents ever...
I hugged my dad also.
"Maria come over here honey?" my mom called out to Maria, who was talking to her parents.
She came over to us and hugged my mom and dad.
"We missed you princess." my Mom remarked.
Maria smiled.
"Same here, I can't believe you organized this "Welcome back Party" for us." Maria smiled, looking around at the decorations.
My parents and Maria have always been very close, sometimes I used to feel jealous that they favoured her over me, but now, I'm just thankful that they get along so well.
"Everyone, may I please get your attention, I have an announcement to make." My dad ordered.
I wonder what his announcement will be....
"Maria, Jason, come here please?" My dad asked, Maria and I looked at each other totally confused.
We both walked over to him, he took both our hands intertwining them together.
"Everyone I introduce you to my daughter-in-law Maria." My dad professed, with a big smile on his face.
Maria and I looked at each other in shock.
How did he find out we are dating?
I didn't tell him and I'm sure Maria didn't either...
What the heck is going on here??
Everyone clapped they hands in happiness.
"Dad -" My dad cut me off.
"I know they just dating, but I hope one day, this Beautiful young lady will be my daughter-In-law." my dad proclaimed smiling at Maria. Maria hugged my dad tears welling up in her eyes.
The clapping died down.
"Everyone continue enjoying the party." my dad responded, dismissively.
Once everyone turned to continue what they were doing before, I turned to my dad.
"Dad how did you know that we were dating, I don't remember telling you?" I questioned him and he smirked.
"Son, I have my connections." he plainly replied, acting like he was the President or something.
"Dad you went through my social media accounts right?" I questioned.
I posted pictures of Maria and I cuddling on my Instagram account and I wrote I had a girlfriend on my Facebook account.
He nodded pouting.
"Don't worry dad I'm not mad at you at all." I replied.
I'm really not mad at him....
"As long as you don't do it frequently." I stated, in a serious tone..
"Scouts honor." my dad responded, laying a hand on his chest while holding his another hand up.
I smiled.
"Mr Mendez -" my dad cut Maria off.
"Dad, I want you to call me dad, you my son's girlfriend, I don't want you to speak to me formally." my dad requested, laying a hand on Maria's shoulder.
Maria smiled.
"Dad I'm so happy that you expect our relationship, I was a little nervous about telling you." Maria responded.
"Nonsense, why would I not agree to such a beautiful union, I've always wanted you and my son to be together, since the moment I saw you when you were a little 8 year old girl." my dad remarked.
"Maria honey." I turned to see Maria's parents approaching us.
Maria's eyes widened, we didn't tell them that we dating.
"Maria babe, don't worry I got this." I whispered in her ear.
Her parents came over to us.
"Maria, why didn't you tell us that Jason and you are dating?" Maria's dad questioned.
"Mr Xavier, I totally understand why you upset but I asked Maria to be my girlfriend in Las Vegas, everything happened so fast that we didn't have time to inform anyone, I sincerely apologize." I replied to Maria's dad.
"Daddy, Mom, I'm sincerely sorry, you can punish me if you want to." Maria responded.
I love how much she respects her parents... she'll be such a good Mom to our future kids..
Jason what are you saying...
Oh she's driving me crazy...
"Don't worry honey, we not mad at you we were just surprised." Maria's Mom stated, Maria walked over to hug her Mom.
"I'm so glad you not mad." Maria replied and her dad.
"Don't I get a hug too." I turned to see my Mom's hands wide open.
Maria walked over to her and hugged her.
"I'm so glad y'all expect our relationship." I pointed out.
They all smiled, Maria pulled away from they hug, she came over to me wrapping her arm around my waist.
"I hope y'all too used protection when you were at that trip, that's all I'm worried about." Maria's dad remarked.
We all laughed, Maria and I looked at each other.
I don't remember Maria and I using a condom or her taking a pill....
Well it wouldn't be a bad thing if she got pregnant...
I kissed her lips, everyone around us clapped, I can't wait to experience more things with Maria, just the thought of us living together being together all the time is so exciting.
