Chapter 106 My Mom's Name Is Mom
Chapter 106 My Mom's Name Is Mom
Veronica stared closely at the seven little ones on TV and did not notice the changes around her. When she reacted, she felt the turbulence in the air that was invaded by a powerful aura.
This feeling of danger is all too familiar.
Veronica turned around and saw Nick Cage's intimidating figure. With his deep temperament not far behind, it can make people around him afraid and nervous.
'Why is Nick in Winter Villa?? Isn't he in the KING Group right now?' It is unusual for him to stay here that is why Veronica was curious.
His pair of sharp black eyes fell on the TV that made Veronica suddenly feel uneasy. She does not want Nick to see anything related to her children.
She doesn't think so. Last time, Peter only went to Nick Cage's office and didn't find a problem.
"Are you so worried about him?" When Nick Cage spoke, his eyes were fixed on the TV as it glowed with coldness and sinister.
Of course, Veronica Parker knew that he was asking her, and she could tell that the "he" Nick meant was none other than John Cage.
The air around her became oppressed and dangerous because of his word.
In fact, it doesn't matter as long as Nick won't focus on the six little ones.
"I just wonder how the child got lost, it doesn't mean anything," Veronica explained.
Nick Cage stared at the TV coldly, looked at Veronica's face then approached her.
He reached on her waist, buckled the back of her neck, pressed his close at Veronica. His thick finger touched her belly. His dangerous techniques let suffocated Veronica for a moment.
Nick Cage's deep, cold black eyes looked down at her innocent face. "You don't have to be curious. Do you understand?" He dismissively told her.
"I understand." She responded.
"You have to remember that you have nothing to do with the Cage family in order to live longer. Alright?" Nick's warning was clear that she should cut ties with the Cage family, including her own mother Chloe Bowen.
Otherwise, he will be angry again, and she can already imagine what will happen next.
So, Veronica dared to listen and obey even if she was reluctant. "Yes, I see." She was very upset but remained compliant.
Although she and Chloe didn't get to know each other very deeply, they would still get in touch with each other occasionally.
If Chloe looked for her and she refused to see her as a stranger, would that be possible?
Would it be better if they tried not to see each other?
But without Chloe and John Cage, it seems that John often plays with Peter and the two of them have a good relationship. Otherwise, why else would they be on TV together?
The host on TV asked again. "What's the name of your mom?"
Veronica, who was embraced by Nick, her heart skipped a beat. The moment that Peter said their mom's name in front of Nick, it would expose her directly, wouldn't it?
Is the secret that has been hidden for so long will be known?
Although there are many people with the same name, with the depth and shrewdness of Nick, she was sure that he'll definitely find something!
She's certainly dead.
"I know!" Peter volunteered.
Veronica Parker panicked so much that her head started to lose oxygen and almost fainted.
The host walked up to Peter, bent over, and asked him. "What's her name?"
"My mom's name is Mom!"
"Veronica? Is that a nickname? " Asked the host.
Cathy immediately retorted, "No, Mom is called peach!"
Julie seconded. "Peach means Veronica!"
"Veronica." Josh followed.
Lily also answered. "Her name is a peach!"
Daniel thought of his Mom's name with a cuddly contemplation on his face.
John Cage said. "Veronica! That is the name of their Mom! "
Outsiders could not tell, but Veronica could interpret what John Cage said when Chloe called her 'Veronica'.
'So, did Nick sense something was wrong? I don't think so!' At best, they used a television program to 'Find Mom for Children', which may be the most effective way to find the mother of the missing children.
"Why do I think your Mom is the same person? When I think about it, it can't be sextuplets." The host smiled and said, she didn't take the children's words seriously.
