Chapter 149 Breakfast
Chapter 149 Breakfast
Veronica Parker went to the TV station early in the morning. As soon as she entered the office area, she saw a delicious breakfast on her seat.
Breakfast again? She received it for many days already. She didn't know Suzanne Roland's cell phone number.
Recently, she was not in the TV station either, Veronica wanted to tell her not to bother her.
Breakfast would show up every day when people were away.
Veronica didn't understand. It was strange. Why was she so nice to her? Or was it someone else's doing?
In the afternoon, she recorded a program and didn't stop until 05:00 pm.
There was still a big difference between children and adults. Children sometimes did not know how to cooperate but they were very clever and lovely.
She had a meal and rested after 05:00. She had to record again in the evening and it meant that she had to work overtime in the evening.
As soon as she walked out of the recording hall, she heard the staff was saying that Suzanne was coming.
Veronica thought Suzanne was here? Then she was going to talk to her about breakfast.
She ran to the dressing room and sure enough, she saw the makeup artist putting makeup on Suzanne's face.
"Suzanne." Veronica knocked at the door.
"Veronica? Come on in!" Suzanne asked the makeup artist to leave and greeted her, "Sit down."
"Have you been busy lately?" Veronica walked in. "I didn't even see you."
"Yes! I'm exhausted." Suzanne rubbed her neck and asked, "Why, did you miss me?"
Veronica Parker was a little embarrassed, "Yes, I missed you." One more thing, Have you bought all my breakfast recently?"
"Yes, isn't it delicious?" Suzanne asked.
"No, it's delicious. It's just that I had breakfast at home already and I don't want to bother you. I'm sorry." Veronica said.
"Don't worry about such a thing. I just asked my assistant to buy it. I didn't buy it myself, so there's no need to be sorry. Besides, if you come here to eat, you can get more beauty sleep at home." Suzanne said that she didn't care at all.
Veronica thus was very determined that the breakfast was indeed bought by Suzanne.
Who else would buy it? Maybe because she felt that Toby Cage bought it for her for a moment in her heart.
But it was ridiculous.
Suzanne was Toby's girlfriend. She didn't have to buy breakfast for her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, did she? It didn't make sense.
It would only be more strange after she would know that she and Toby had a relationship.
"What's the problem?"
Veronica smiled. "You're not going to bring me breakfast, are you?"
"Why not?"
"Suzanne, why are you so nice to me?" Veronica asked.
"It's just breakfast, okay?"
Veronica nodded. "Well, good. At least except for my ex-boyfriend. No one is so kind to me."
"Do you have an ex-boyfriend? That's interesting." Suzanne looked at her with interest. "If he's so good, why did you break up?"
"He had another woman." Veronica paused and said.
"Then he really doesn't know how to cherish you."
Veronica has always been bitter about Toby's betrayal. She didn't know what she did wrong, so there is only one answer. Toby was lame.
"Did you have sex?"
"Hey?" Veronica was confused by the sudden question of Suzanne.
"Look, you're so pure. You're even blushing when I ask you. We're all adults. Don't be ashamed."
Veronica didn't want to say it if someone else asked but Suzanne was different, "No." After she answered she saw that Suzanne was confused.
"That's strange."
"What's so strange?"
Suzanne said, "If a man didn't get you yet, he won't break up with you. Especially the man who brought your breakfast."
