Chapter 159 Nick Parker To The Rescue
Chapter 159 Nick Parker To The Rescue
She knew she was having an asthma attack.
Veronica Parker was so eager to see Nick Cage for the first time, but would he find her at the right time?
He could not keep an eye on the tracker all the time, could he?
Eden Cage put a towel on his wounded leg to stop the bleeding for a while. He then limped closer to Veronica Parker with a knife.
Veronica Parker was having an asthma attack. This was not good for her. She would not be able to resist or even retreat.
All her strength was spent on every breath, and even killing her with a knife could solve her pain.
When she saw the knife as it approached her, she shook.
Was she really going to die here today?
Nick Cage would not do anything to his own uncle even if she died, would he?
Then she would really die unjustly.
"Let's have a drink and go to hell!" Eden Cage picked up the knife and slammed it at Veronica Parker.
With a loud sound, the door was knocked open.
Eden Cage was surprised. He drove out all the servants in the house in order to deal with Veronica Parker. So, who came?
He suddenly turned his face and saw that the door had been knocked open, and when he saw the long black figure come in. The temperature in the air suddenly cooled down and he was filled with panic.
Nick Cage appeared in the room and watched the scene gloomily.
"Nick Cage? " Eden Cage didn't expect Nick Cage to come. Was he looking for Veronica Parker? How did he found this place?
Veronica Parker struggled to move her body against the wall.
She knew Nick Cage was coming, but she couldn't think too much. The attack of asthma made her miserable.
It was as if a hand had been holding her by the neck. She was unable to breathe, and she could even suffocate and die at any time and place.
Turning a blind eye to Eden Cage's panic, Nick Cage walked up to Veronica Parker. When he raised her chin, he saw her face was swollen. He stuffed the nozzle of the inhaler into her mouth and held Veronica Parker's hands tightly as if he had grabbed driftwood.
"Inhale." Nick Cage's voice was low and intimidating, and it was particularly clear in this room.
Veronica Parker took a puff with all her strength and then took three mouthfuls in succession. Asthma gradually relieved. Her body slacked and fell directly into Nick Cage's arms.
Eden Cage, who stood behind him, panicked and looked at the door which was now guarded by bodyguards dressed in black, all, looked vicious.
Nick Cage picked up Veronica Parker from the ground and turned to look at Eden Cage.
Eden Cage tried to defend himself, "Nick, you do know whose daughter she is. I'm doing this for the Cage family, and you! This girl is particularly good at seducing men and fascinating them."
"Are you talking about me?" Nick Cage said harshly.
"That's not what I meant."
"It's up to me to decide whether she lives or not. No one should act without permission."
"But this girl can't stay. She will be the second Chloe Bowen." Before Eden Cage could finish his words, one of the bodyguards came forward and slumped Eden Cage to the ground, the pain from his wounded leg made him scream.
In Nick Cage's arms, Veronica Parker looked at Eden Cage. The blood on his thigh spurted out and flowed down on the floor. She did not know if she hurt the vein.
The bodyguard kicked his shoes, which was worse than being stabbed by Veronica Parker.
Then, he heard Nick Cage's voice, "Who told you to do it? Don't you know he's my real uncle? "
"Yes." The bodyguard took a few steps back with his head down and stood still.
