Chapter 160 Anything For Veronica Parker

If it wasn't for her, the bodyguard would take matters into his own hands. She did not believe it.

"I don't want such a thing to happen again, otherwise, I'm really going to do it." Nick Cage firmly hugged Veronica Parker. His voice was steady, but it made people shudder.

Eden Cage suffered a leg injury. His breath was wheezing and cold sweat ran down his forehead.

"You. If you do this, you'll regret it!"

"Don't bother." Nick Cage said and left with Veronica Parker in his arms.

When he went downstairs, Nick Cage got into the car with Veronica Parker in his arms. The bodyguards got in next, and the car left mightily.

As soon as he pulled out of the gate, a Ferrari drove in.

Toby Cage looked through the window.

Both cars have black windows. They could see the outside but not the interior of the car.

Toby Cage's car drove into the yard and stopped there. He got out of the car and went inside the house.

When he did not saw the servant, he went upstairs but stopped at the door of the room around the corner when he heard something inside.

Toby Cage looked inside.

Eden Cage sat on the ground, one leg bleeding. He groaned while bandaging it with a towel, looking so injured that he could not move his leg. He felt embarrassed and looked pitiful.

Toby Cage walked in.

As soon as Eden Cage saw Toby Cage, he immediately called for help. "Take me to the hospital. My leg has been bleeding. I'm afraid I've hurt my meridian."

"Did you hurt her?" Toby Cage looked down at him and asked coldly, "Didn't you promise not to hurt her again?"

"But it's different now. She's still haunting us! Besides, I didn't hurt her, she stabbed me! Unexpectedly, she has a lot of guts! If Nick Cage hadn't come, how could she have left safe and sound? " Eden Cage seems unconvinced. With that, he gasped for breath and relieved the pain caused by the leg injury. "Toby, take me to the hospital."

It was only after Toby Cage heard that Veronica Parker was safe and sound that his taut body returned to normal.

Toby Cage just glanced at his leg faintly. "Don't you have a cell phone?"

After he said that, he turned around and walked away.

Eden Cage couldn't believe his eyes. "You will do this to me for a woman?"

"You should be glad you are still alive." With that, Toby Cage disappeared.

Eden Cage broke out in a cold sweat.

What did he mean? Who would want him dead? Was it Toby Cage or Nick Cage?

Veronica Parker, while still in the Rolls-Royce, had returned to her normal self and Nick Cage sat by the door and looked out of the window.

She was not surprised by the appearance of Nick Cage, but she was surprised by how quickly he came.

It was like Nick Cage was watching her all the time, wherever she may be.

However, even if she knew the whole story, she should be asking things like "Why is Mr. Cage here? How did you know I was here?"

But she was really not in the mood to ask.

Being kidnapped by Eden Cage and after learning some of the truth, her whole persona seemed to be lost; it seemed that everything in the outside world made her sensitive.

When her face was touched suddenly, she became aware of her surroundings and retreated. Her clear eyes looked at Nick Cage defensively. In the face of that pair of deep black eyes, she saw safety but she was also nervous at the same time.

However, her jaw was still held by the powerful Nick Cage, forcing her to face him.

"Well." Veronica Parker's beautiful brow frowned slightly.

Half of the face was swollen and red.

"Are you still in pain?" Nick Cage asked.

Veronica Parker didn't expect him to ask her how she felt. "It's hot."

"It seems that I should cut off his hand." Nick Cage calmly uttered the cruelest words.

Veronica Parker paused and said, "He's learned his lesson. He probably won't do it next time." She did not want Nick Cage to do anything for her.
