Chapter 164 Close Your Eyes
Chapter 164 Close Your Eyes
"I just won't say anything," Veronica said.
She was afraid that he could really do it.
Although her six little children were with Isabella, the longer Nick stayed here, the more likely he will come to discover.
No matter how eager he was, he didn't dare to mess with her now.
"Be good, huh?" Nick's voice was low and hoarse.
Veronica lowered his eyes and said, "I see. All right."
Seeing that she was obedient, Nick let her go and began to look at her room.
Veronica did not move or speak as the nerves in her body were tense, as if Nick could see what was hidden in the cupboard at any time.
When she was nervous, her eyes saw the nipple of the bottle protruding from the corner of the quilt.
She gasped. Which one of the six must have done it?
If Nick saw it, how would she explain it?
Just when Nick turned to look at the carpet, Veronica spoke out loud.
"Hey, Nick." Veronica exhaled bitterly, seeing Nick looking at her, and said, "My face was a little itchy just now. I scratched it and forgot that it was red and swollen."
Nick came over calmly and looked at her face, which really had a crimson line that came from scratching using her fingernails.
Veronica looked at Nick's gloomy eyes with a reluctant agitation she could not quite understand. She felt as though something bad was to happen. "This is the scratch I did on my face." She pointed at her scar.
Nick's thin lips pressed against her ear, his voice hoarse and attentive."Listen to me closely. Only I can hurt you, do you understand me clearly?"
Veronica was stunned by his threat. Her heart was beating unsteadily and replied, "I got it."
Nick directed his gaze on the side of Veronica's face which could not help but change to a reddish color obviously. His thin lips leaned closer and rubbed the delicate and sensitive skin of her ears.
Veronica's body trembled noticeably as her nerves tightened further.
"You are very sensitive, aren't you?"
Veronica refrained from moving, knowing that if she resisted, it would only stir up Nick's inner possessiveness which would completely go out of control.
Slightly beyond his line of sight was the milk bottle clearly exposed underneath the quilt. She wished that the bottle head disappeared in place.
She was in a dilemma. It was not good to resist, yet it was also dangerous if she did not resist.
In the end, she chose to let Nick press her against the door and do whatever he pleased with her.
He suddenly bit her sensitive ear.
"Well," Veronica shuddered with the feeling of cold mouth. She closed her eyes and tried resisting the natural reaction from her body.
This was beyond her own control unless she was a dead person without perception.
Nick kissed the outer part of her ear and whispered in a hoarse voice, "Come here."
Veronica did not understand what he said because of her twirling vision and fuzzy feeling. Veronica was forcefully thrown to the bed, followed by the tall shadow of Nick, aggressively towering over her.
Veronica looked unsteadily elsewhere because she knew the danger of staring at Nick.
Her heart was thumping with fear.
It was definitely easy for him to see the milk bottle in this direction.
Veronica took the initiative to put her arm around Nick's neck, put his arms around her body, and turned over their positions.
Nick fell on the position.
With this sudden movement, Veronica was above Nick.
"Do you like it up there? Huh?" Nick raised his eyebrows slightly, his tinted eyes as deep as the danger of an abyss as if Veronica could be swallowed up by it at any given time.
Veronica's eyes unwittingly glanced at the quilt next to her, and the bottle showed a little more. Her heart was about to jump out of her chest because of her nervousness.
She had to figure a way to hide it from Nick.
Out of the blue, Veronica came up with an idea. He stared at Nick's mouth, closed her eyes, leaned her face closer to his, and suddenly, both of their lips were tightly sewn together.
Nick reached out to hold the back of her head and deepened the kiss.
The long eyelashes of Veronica's eyelids trembled as she was running out of breath. It felt as if she were about to be swallowed whole by Nick.
A few seconds later, Veronica stealthily approached the quilt, grabbed a corner, and pulled it aside, covering the milk bottle underneath. She pushed the quilt a little further away, successfully concealing her secret.
