Chapter 210 You Can't Keep A Secret Forever
Chapter 210 You Can't Keep A Secret Forever
Veronica Parker was still in pain and very nervous.
She asked Nick Cage to just remove his hand on her belly.
"Wouldn't that be better?" Nick Cage asked.
"No, not really." Even if Veronica Parker said that Nick Cage still kept his hand on her. He looked at her scar and gently massaged it.
Veronica Parker felt more uneasy.
"Tracy Dora should have a way to relieve this symptom." Nick Cage said.
Veronica Parker turned to look at him.
"You're taking me to the hospital?" She asked.
Nick Cage didn't answer Veronica Parker's question and didn't look at her either.
The car stopped slowly in front of the hospital building.
"Let's get out of the car." Nick Cage's long legs stepped out of the door and got out of the car.
How could Veronica Parker go to the hospital with him? Once Tracy Dora examines her, she would be exposed!
Nick Cage can't see what caused her scar, but Tracy Dora is a famous doctor with a great experience. As soon as she sees the scar, she would instantly figure it out and answer his questions.
And Tracy Dora on Nick Cage's side, so he won't hide anything from him.
So, when Nick Cage reached out to carry her, Veronica Parker's body went straight back and strongly refused, "I'm not going to the hospital to see that doctor."
"Don't be so childish and come here!" Nick Cage reprimanded.
"Will you leave me alone? This is my body, I know it! I'm not going to the hospital!" Before Veronica Parker could finish her statement, Nick Cage got into the car and pulled her out.
Holding her in his arms, he went straight to the hospital gate.
Then there she was, Tracy Dora was standing at the door waiting for them.
"You put me down! I'm not in pain anymore.! Nick Cage!" Veronica Parker struggled in Nick Cage's arms, which showed her eagerness to stay away from the hospital.
Veronica Parker was more than anxious. She couldn't breathe. She knew that once the doctor sees her scar, they would know that she had a baby before.
She thought so hard for reasons to convince him that she was feeling better already.
"They are just going to check it. Even though it's not painful anymore, still, that needs to be checked."Nick Cage was so persistent and so determined to know everything.
"Why do you have to do this? This is my body. I'm in charge. I can do whatever I want!" Veronica Parker argued with Nick Cage.
"You seemed to have forgotten what I said. Everything you have belongs to me!" Nick Cage firmly responded.
Veronica Parker kept quiet and became slightly frightened after hearing those words from Nick Cage.
In the end, she was taken to the hospital and Tracy Dora followed them as if she escape anytime. There's no escaping now. She was caught off guard.
After entering Tracy Dora's consultation room, Veronica Parker sat in a chair, sweating and turning pale.
But she just looked pale because she was frightened.
"Is it dysmenorrhea?" Tracy Dora asked Veronica Parker. She was still touching her belly as if she was still in severe pain., who covered his stomach with his eyes and hands.
Veronica Parker thought, might as well answer before she could ask further, "Yes, it's just dysmenorrhea. I used to experience this before when I was still younger. The pain would just wear off after a couple of days. Maybe I just need some time off to rest. There's no need to do any tests at all!"
"In the past, whenever you have dysmenorrhea, do you just rest? Did you take any medications?" The doctor inquired.
"If I'm in so much pain, I usually take some painkillers." Veronica Parker remembered the way she used to deal with dysmenorrhea and explained it to the doctor.
"You can't just take any painkillers. I understand that sometimes dysmenorrhea gets worse that you couldn't even go to work nor walk. I'll examine you first. Then if there's no problem, I can actually prescribe a better medicine for you to feel much better." The doctor instructed.
Veronica Parker knew that her dysmenorrhea was caused by taking a contraceptive, so she refused to be examined, "I just have dysmenorrhea, there is no other problem. Is it really necessary for you to examine me? I think prescription will do." As an accomplished doctor, Tracy Dora perfectly knew that there was no need to examine Veronica Parker. But since it was Mr. Nick Cage who brought her in, she's obliged to do all the necessary examinations and give out every detail to him.
