"I think men prefer mature women."
Private groups began to speculate about what kind of woman Nick Cage liked.
Veronica didn't know if such a buzz fell into Nick Cage's ear, but it must have fallen into Kay Tours' ear.
He called Veronica Parker to his office.
Veronica stood there. Kay looked at her for a few seconds and asked, "Do you know about the recent discussions around the company?"
"Yes."
"Did you really say them? I couldn't believe it when I heard of them. You should know that these words are passed on to Mr. Cage, but it is not easy to excuse them."
"I'm telling the truth. Besides, didn't Mr. Cage transfer me to the secretarial department in order to have something with me? In that case, is there anything wrong with me to mention marriage?"
Kay thought, 'How dare you mention it.'
"Mr. Cage promoted you because of your ability, or it could have been a punishment for what Martin Hutt did, but it can't be what you think it is," Kay said.
Veronica raised her eyebrows slightly. "Really? Then why do I think he likes me?"
"I think you should put this kind of self-confidence in your work."
"Actually, I said that on purpose in the secretarial department. I don't understand it. Am I forcing him to get married to me?"
Kay replied, "I guess I underestimated you."
"Tours special assistant, are you going to fire me then? You can't do that. I still want to be a Mrs. Cage!" Veronica said.

Around noon, Nick, surrounded by bodyguards, walked into the hall and saw Veronica whining and bragging at the front desk.
The sound could be heard several meters away.
"I can go to the secretarial department because Nick Cage dotes on me, and I don't know how good it is to me in private! Or do you think I'm smart enough to get into the secretarial department? If you think about it with your knees, you'll know what the hidden rules are!"

Before lunch, Kay came to inform her that she didn't have to come to the company.
Veronica shrunken her mouth, "Can't you wait until I finish eating the company's free lunch?"
