Chapter 438 Packing Up Isabella's Things
Chapter 438 Packing Up Isabella's Things
Veronica Parker walked out of the room, saw Bob, and walked over. "I'm going out for a minute."
"Where are you going? Can I help you? " Bob asked.
Bob knew the rules of identity and wouldn't ask about other people's whereabouts casually. When asked about her now, Veronica Parker knew that this is definitely what Nick Cage means.
"I need to go back to the apartment and pack up Isabella's things." Veronica Parker said. "Just take me there by car."
"Good." Bob sighed, "Don't be too sad. No one wants such an accident to happen. You must take care of yourself." Only in this way can he make Miss Isabella feel at ease.
"I know, thank you."
Veronica Parker sat in the Winter Villa's car, leaning against the window and looking at the back end view, her eyes were empty.
The cell phone in the bag rang.
Veronica Parker took out her cell phone and threw it away when she saw an incoming call, she left alone, juts ringing.
However, the mobile phone keeps ringing and ringing restlessly.
Veronica Parker simply pressed and canceled the call, but the person calling just keeps calling again and again.
Veronica Parker answered angrily, "What on earth are you going to do? I don't want to take your call, can't you see? What do I have to do for you to let me go! "
Tom Parker was yelled at and didn't get angry. "Veronica, I didn't mean anything, but I heard something happened to Isabella Hudson. Are you all right?"
"How did you know what happened to Isabella?" Veronica Parker suspected.
"Didn't you know I was questioned by the police?" Tom Parker asked.
Veronica Parker frowned; she didn't know.
"I met with Isabella before, so the police asked some questions."
"Why did you meet with Isabella? What do you want to do?" Veronica Parker was disgusted.
"I want her to persuade you to recognize me as a father."
Veronica Parker voice was very cold, "I do not need your concern, what I am going to do is just my own business, please do not bother me! And as for me, the last thing I need is a 'father'!"
With that, the phone hung up directly.
Anger made her breath unstable.
Why do the people she cared about leaves her, but the people she hates just lingers!
Why were you calling to pretend to be a good guy? What a hypocrite!
When they got into the apartment, Veronica Parker started looking for Isabella's necklace.
When Isabella moved to Winter Villa, she only took the clothes from the season, and the rest was still in the cupboard.
Everything was neat.
She rummaged through, Veronica Parker but didn't see Isabella's necklace.
It was strange. Where can Isabella put the necklace?
Usually, there is a fixed box for jewelry, and there is nothing in the box.
Veronica Parker stood in the living room, looking at the balcony, but dared not go over.
She was afraid to think about the fall of Isabella in her head, just like walking down the stairs of the unit and passing by the accident site, she was afraid to look at it.
She closed her eyes, sat down on the sofa, and held the pillow in her arms as if there would be a little sense of security.
The cell phone rang again.
The backpack was on the porch, and she got up to get her phone.
If it's Tom Parker, she'd just turn it off.
Turns out it was Nick Cage.
She answered, "What are you doing?"
"Where is it?"
"Some of Isabella's things are in the apartment.", Nick Caged said knowingly. How did he know?
The driver must have told him.
Veronica Parker walked to the sofa while making a phone call.
The pillow fell to the ground, but she didn't put it down there.
"What is it?" The low voice of Nick Cage came.
Veronica Parker froze, her left hand picking up the pillow, and looked stunned, as a memory flashed through her mind.
Nick Cage didn't hear any sound, detected something unusual, and twisted his eyebrow slightly. "Why don't you speak?"
Veronica Parker regained her awareness and said as normally as possible, "It's just Isabella's other clothes. I came to have a look. I'll be back later.
