Chapter 482 Discussion About The Other Woman
Chapter 482 Discussion About The Other Woman
"Elton, no! I was just confused at that time." Tom Parker explained.
Without waiting for Tom Parker to finish, the sarcastic Elton Parker turned and left.
Tom Parker sat down with an ugly face then uttered. "We should be dealing with the problem as a family. We should put up with our family's flaws." Veronica Parker sneered inside. If it wasn't for power and money, who would put up with him? They knew all along that something wasn't right.
Veronica Parker figured that Tom Parker was also having a hard time. She finally understood why he was so eager to get the developmental rights in the southwest.
Tom Parker had several tricks up his sleeves and appeared mighty and powerful. He didn't even consider the feeling of his family.
He could easily decide on his own.
Tom Parker could do everything, yet people wouldn't say anything about it. But he made a mistake when he touched Isabella. Of all people, why her? "What's the deal with your other woman?" She asked.
"Sarah found out." Tom Parker responded "Well that woman was so greedy. If it wasn't because of her attitude, Sarah wouldn't find out about it." "Sarah cares for you. She's your wife." Veronica Parker said. "I just couldn't understand how you could do such a thing? Why her? When in fact, you have so many choices outside this house of yours."
"To tell you the truth, I don't know. I wasn't even thinking when I did that. That's why I want the development right in the southwest. Although I run the company now, what's the difference between me and the manager? Veronica, you have to help Dad." He pleaded.
"I'll ask Nick Cage later." Veronica Parker responded.
"I'm counting on you, my dear." He said.
"I'm going to set up a branch in the city. I will assign you there." He added.
"I see." Veronica Parker plainly answered.
Then Veronica Parker's cell phone rang. She took it out from her pocket to check who the caller was. She was surprised to see the name and number of Kay Tours. She started to wonder why he would call her at that time.
Veronica Parker noticed Tom Parker peeking. So she stuffed her phone into her pocket and continued to eat breakfast.
"Don't you have to answer it?" Tom Parker curiously asked.
"Why should I answer it? I made a phone call last night and I called again today. I already reported everything to them and did my job" Veronica Parker said in a bad mood.
With that, Tom Parker immediately knew who the caller was.
"It shows that he cares about you!" Tom Parker teased.
"Why do you say so?" Veronica Parker asked.
"I believe he's just worried, especially about the Chloe Bowen thing. Didn't you say you're not Chloe Bowen's biological daughter?"
"Just because I'm not Chloe Bowen's daughter, he should worry about me all the time. Well, I was still raised by Chloe Bowen. Now my head hurts. There's too much to worry including the mansion of Nick Cage. My hands are full and we still have to discuss that baby thing." Veronica Parker explained.
"Don't lose hope. If you can have a baby with Nick Cage, it will give you a chance. No one else had the chance to pop up and say that they gave birth to Nick Cage's baby! If you marry him, you'll be a match made in heaven." Tom Parker said.
"I hope so!" Veronica Parker exclaimed.
"Of course he will get what he wants. He always does. And he promised to consider the development rights of the southwest district. If you convince him a little more, it will be a lot easier. He called, so maybe that's what he wants to discuss with you. It's not good if you don't answer it. Go!" Tom Parker was more excited than Veronica Parker.
Veronica Parker hesitated at first but decided to put down her spoon and fork and said, "OK, I'll get it."
She stood up and left the living room.
Outside, Veronica Parker returned the call and waited for Kay Tours to answer the phone.
Kay Tours answered the phone and asked, "Did I bother you?"
