Chapter 54 Was Almost Exposed

"I want to call you Elder Sister!" John explained.

When Veronica Parker heard his explanation, her heart stopped. "I'm not your elder sister."

John was stupefied, then tears swirled in his eyes. He forcefully tolerated grievances and held back his emotion. "You don't like me. My elder brother doesn't like me, and my elder sister doesn't like me. I'll never mess with you again!"

John ran while crying. He ran a few more steps as he staggered, fell directly to the ground, and sat on the ground. He howled in pain and cried loudly.

The driver of John immediately picked him up, then ran so fast for he was scared by the atmosphere, and soon disappeared completely.

However, the atmosphere was still oppressive and breathless, and Nick said. "Who let him in? Get out."

Kay understood what he meant and nodded in agreement. "Yes." He answered.

With that, he went to deal with it.

When Veronica, who was still in a trance, turned around to where Nick is, her nerves remained tense. Usually, during ordinary days, his aura is so fierce. But then, right now he emitted a blank expression that scared Veronica more.

His sharp dark eyes looked at her. "How did you know him?"

"How do we know each other? I don't know. Before, the kid came to the company and saw me. That's why he called me that." Veronica Parker covered-up.

"Mr. Cage is fine, so I'll go back to work first." Seeing that Nick Cage had no instructions, Veronica Parker walked past him with her head down and left the office, and hurriedly went to the secretarial department.
