"You're just in the right height and position. It seems that you have been in deep thought and think through." The sinister and dangerous voice of Nick resonated on her ears.
Veronica's body trembled. Not only because of the pain she felt on her sore feet, but also because of rage. She was extremely close at Nick's waist to the point that she could see his belt buckle. It was black, almost hidden on his waistband. The expensive cloth seemed to iron her face against the scorching temperature.
Her face was as red as a tomato. It was as if she was going to burn.
"No!" Veronica Parker reached out to push Nick. His body staggered out of complete shock. Nick took a step back and released Veronica's jaw.
Just now, Veronica was stunned and her hands trembled a little.
'Why on earth did I push him just now?' As she reminisced the horrifying act that she did, Veronica felt the lingering touch in the palm of her hand.
Frightened, she hurriedly got up and stood defensively a meter away from what she thought was safe.
At that moment, Nick was like a terrible beast in the forest. His eyes glowed intensely, ready to pounce on his prey. His face etched a cold expression, dangerous and terrible.
Veronica was limping. She trembled and explained to him. "I didn't mean to, really! It was an accident."
"You think you can escape?" Nick approached Veronica, and his powerful aura frightened her to death that made her retreat.
"I have no intention of running away, Mr. Cage. Please believe me that it was really an accident. B-but, you forced me first!" Veronica panicked and stepped back to create a comfortable distance from Nick.
"You still dared to argue."
"No." Veronica Parker turned and attempted to run away.
But as soon as she turned towards the door, Nick's shadow flashed quickly and pushed her against the wall.
"Ah! Let go of me, let go of me, please! I won't argue with you anymore. I'm sorry. It's my fault. Give me a chance!" Veronica hurriedly explained as she shouted in horror.
"Shut up." Nick Cage frowned and kissed passionately her noisy mouth.
"Oh!" As soon as Veronica Parker breathed, her eyes trembled with horror. She regained her mind and stretched out her hands to push him away.
However, the strong muscles and overwhelming strength of Nick burst out. She was rewarded with endless unparalleled strength.
Nick pressed her hand directly on top of her head, locking Veronica with brute force. He just pinned her hands with his one hand and she could not move at all.
"Well." Veronica Parker felt that the oxygen in her lungs had been emptied and she was dizzy as she endured such a strong and intense kiss from Nick Cage.
The temperature in the office rose rapidly.
Veronica was weak and flushed, and all of her struggles were strongly suppressed by Nick. Her refusal was all futile.
His kiss seemed to swallow her up which made her hot all over.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. To be exact, it's not just a knock but a loud banging on the door.
John Cage's thunderous voice sounded outside. "Elder Brother! Elder Brother Nick!"
Nick Cage's raven black eyes suddenly darkened more and let go of Veronica Parker.
Veronica softened and fell on his chest, gasped for breath. She almost suffocated to death.
"Elder Brother! Is Veronica in there? Elder Brother!"
Veronica's dazed mind slightly became sober when she heard the sound outside.
Her body froze. 'John Cage? Why is he here again?'
John also readied to kick, but Kay rushed in time and pulled him away from the door. "This door cannot be kicked randomly."
John fiercely countered. "I am just looking for Veronica!"
Kay Tours was stunned. "What did you say, Veronica Parker?"
"That's her."
The office door opened and Nick Cage appeared coldly in front of him. The condescending air surrounded John, which made him turn cold in an instant.
As she stood in the back, Veronica Parker's head poked out slightly, and saw that John was really afraid of him.
'He kicked me out last time as I remember.
"I'm not looking for you elder brother, I'm looking for Veronica Parker!" John pointed to Veronica behind Nick Cage.
Veronica Parker's body tightened in an instant, her face was restless and she restrained her inner panic.
"What do you want from me? I don't know you very well." There was a smile on Veronica Parker's face.
