"No, I want to rest but you are annoying that's why I can't sleep."

She can't keep up with him. When her gaze shifted to him, his eyes were warm and bright.

He turned over and brought her into his arms. "Sleep before I changed my mind."

"Oh, I'll sleep right away!" She closed her eyes and pressed her face against his sturdy chest. She can hear his strong heartbeat.

She was very surprised. He is unpredictable. She thought he brought her to his room to have sex with her but she was wrong. Nevertheless, she was happy that nothing happened.

She does not want to think of her situation anymore. She'll sleep now before he noticed that she is still awake. After a few minutes, her exhaustion caught up with her and she eventually fell asleep.

The sound of even breathing came and gently bounced on the skin of his chest.

He clasped her jaw and lifted it slightly.

He looked at her and tried to figure her out. It took every ounce of his willpower to keep from kissing her.

Veronica Parker slept soundly and woke up after dinner. She found herself sleeping more comfortable in Nick Cage's arms.

She was just too tired that's why she slept in his arms. She narrowly escaped during the day but she had nowhere to escape at night.

Knowing that she could not escaped, she stayed in the room of the six little ones.

Chloe Bowen is the only person that she could trust in this Winter Villa.

As soon as Nick Cage enters the room, "You should sleep. It's past your bedtime!"

Peter shouted, "I don't want to sleep yet!"

"Can we sleep with Daddy, Mom?" Cathy asked.

Lily said, "Don't be annoying Cathy! Daddy, Mom has to take a bath before she can sleep with us"

She looked at Lily with big, shocked eyes. Nick Cage looked at her. "You heard what she said."

"I won't take a bath! I'll just sleep right here! " She doesn't want to step out from the room because once she does, he will not allow her to return.

How can the six little ones do not see what she is going through?

"Mom said you need to take a bath before sleeping because dirty ones are not pretty or smart!" Lily said very seriously.

Veronica Parker wanted to cry but she cannot do that in front of her children. She did say that before, but she never thought they would use it on her.

"Ah!" She exclaimed when Nick Cage held her wrist. "Come on. Go and take a bath." He pulled her.

"I don't want to!" she rebelled. He did not let go of her and tried to drag her out of the room.

He is losing his patience from her stubbornness. "Ah! "Let go of me!"

She stretched her arms and tried grabbing anything to stop him from pulling her.

The only thing that she can grab is Daniel's short legs. But she can't really use Daniel's legs as an anchor.

Finally, Nick Cage pulled hard and Daniel's socks came off revealing his small feet. "Hmm?" Daniel giggled and looked at them cutely.

Veronica Parker held a sock in her hand and was finally pulled out from the room.

Lily is still happily shouting, "Mom, obey and have a good bath. We will wait for you!"

She was desperate. Didn't I teach them anything. They just watched their Daddy drag their Mom away.

When she entered his room, she clasped her hands against the door and said, "You! Let go of me! I'll go back to my room and wash there! "

He put his right arm around her waist and his left arm under her armpit. He tickled her until she let of the door. "Ah! Noooooo!"

He then dragged into his room and went straight to his bathroom.

She leaned against the wall under the shower. His face flushed red from all the pulling.
