Chapter 600 Mercy

She was stunned when her hand touched the scar on his shoulder. Her hand slowly slipped down and her resistance faded away.

Forget it. I can't get away from him anyway.

Nick Cage pressed her mouth and breathed gruffly, "No more resistance? Huh?"

"I don't have any choice. It is useless for me to resist. She closed her eyes and turned her face slightly to hide her flushed face.

"Shut up! Otherwise, I'll go out. She pushed him but he hugged her tightly.

Three days was more tiring for Veronica Parker than taking care of her six little ones. Not even when she worked over time.

He was true to his word. He didn't go to KING Group for three days. How awful!

It was not until late Sunday afternoon that Tracy Dora arrived. She was looking forward for her visit.

They were sitting at the open-air balcony sofa while waiting for Tracy Dora. She glared at Nick Cage who was sitting next to her. She wanted to sit up but the soreness of her body prevented her from moving.

Tracy Dora looked at Veronica Parker's face and found no signs swelling. If she really cared, she didn't have much strength to comment about it. She knows that something happened between them. She was not born yesterday.

Nick Cage's looked rather calm and collected. He looked the same as usual.

Veronica Parker frowned when the Doctor administered her injection. Nick Cage's black eyes stared at her. One might think that he loves her.

After her injection, Tracy Dora said, "It's all right. Open your mouth and let me look at your gums. "

She opened her mouth and she looked at her gums. "It's recovering well. You can't see the redness and swelling."

"It's mainly because you're a good doctor!" Veronica Parker said sweetly. "After your wisdom tooth grows out, do you want to pull it out?"

"If there is no infection then there is no need to have it removed." Tracy Dora nodded to Nick Cage and turned away.

Veronica Parker moved her body and changed her sitting position.

She doesn't want to have her tooth pulled out. It's scary even when she thinks about it.

"Afraid of pain?" Nick Cage asked. The injection did not hurt. "It's because of you."

He was silent and said after a moment, "I'll pay attention next time."

Veronica Parker was in a dazed and looked at him. Does it mean that she will suffer less in the future?

"Are you sure you that this won't happened again?" She was speechless.

"What do you think?" Nick Cage asked rhetorically.

She pursed her lips and thought that if this happens again, she might as well end up just like the roof of the car, torn to pieces.

Should she be grateful for his mercy? I must be daydreaming!

Bob came over with their food and put it on the table. "Miss Parker, this is the pastry that was just made and Fresh Juice. Try it."

She looked at Bob and said, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Bob went down.

She reached over the pastry and dug in. The milk tasted sweet but not greasy. It was made with good cream and tasted much better than the one bought outside.

In the middle of eating, Nick Cage's hand reached out and pinched her chin.

She was stunned for a moment and stared at him. What possessed him to do that. "You...."

Before she can continue speaking, he licked her at the corner of her mouth.

She froze. What just happened?!

"I got it." A hoarse voice drilled into her ears causing her heart to beat uncontrollably.

"You're blushing." Nick Cage closed his eyes and smirked.

Veronica Parker regained her and hurriedly stood up. Her hand was shaking badly that the mat and plate were all knocked over to the ground.

When he looked over, she turned and said, "I'll go and see if the six little ones are awake."
