Chapter 65 Where These Children Came From
Chapter 65 Where These Children Came From
Alone? Veronica Parker was stupefied and went back to look after the babies. 'Hey, where are they?'
Veronica Parker's face was stunned.
Looking up not far away, she saw a small round body shaking in a candy store and hurriedly ran over.
When she came into the store, it was really the little kids, all six of them.
"I said don't run around!" Veronica's heart was almost stopped by them.
"Mom, I want a brain ax!" Peter pointed to the candy.
Veronica said, "Isn't that a cat?"
"Mom, I want to eat!" Cathy said at once.
"I want to eat Mom, too!" Julie added.
"Mom, I, I want to. " Josh said weakly as if he would cry if he didn't eat.
"Mom, I want to eat." Lily grabbed Veronica's trouser leg with her little hand and looked up at her.
Daniel did not speak, but his eyes were fixed on the sugar, and his yearning could not wrap it for him.
Veronica looked at the six little heads huddled together and looked at the candy, their mouths round open, almost drooling.
Candy was definitely their favorite!
The girl in the shop was so affected, "Wow, that's so cute."
"I really want to squeeze their fleshy faces. It must be very fun, isn't it?"
"Mm-hmm! I really want to pinch it."
Veronica smiled sheepishly. "Please give me six cat candies."
"All right."
Peter, who got the sugar, was ready to eat. "What do you think?" He looked up at Veronica and walked over. He raised his face and held the sugar high. "Mom, you taste it!"
The other five also held up the candy and let Veronica eat some.
With a warmed heart, Veronica laughed, "Mom will not eat those. You eat them!"
After paying the money, Veronica turned to see standing in the doorway looking at her and the six little ones were Chloe in disbelief.
Veronica could not help but panic, as she was so worried about the six small kids, that she unexpectedly forgot Chloe.
Peter only called her Mom just now. She just heard it.
"How... What's going on?" Chloe walked in and said, "Where did you get these kids?"
She asked this question in the store as if she got the children by dishonest means.
"We'll talk about it when we get back."
Chloe picked up John and got into the car, together with six small kids who had candy to eat, and one holding a lovely cat candy, which was very cute.
But not John.
John rarely sat there obediently, staring at the candy in their mouth, but his craving for food was too obvious.
Daniel looked at John, and then with the sugar in his hand, he reached out to John and said, "Oh!"
John's face was flushed, he wiggled, then he stuck out his tongue and licked it without hesitation. He tasted the sweetness and he was so happy.
Then he licked it, and the others lick theirs which became very messy.
Veronica saw the awkward situation of not stopping them well, not stopping them, and not treating them well.
And Chloe would have stopped them, but now her mind was on the six children who call Veronica their mother.
The more she looked, the worse she glanced back. If Veronica didn't have to go back, she couldn't have waited to ask.
She went back to the rented apartment of Veronica.
Two rooms and one living room. After the door opened, the little guys ran happily inside and immediately began to play.
When John came here for the first time, the children had a good time and didn't feel strange, and then they got together.
Veronica waited for Chloe to close the door when she looked at the house.
And then she went to get her some water.
"I'm not thirsty." Chloe turned around and asked her, "What's going on? Where did these children come from?"
"I, I was bored, so I adopted them," Veronica said.
"Adoption?" Chloe looked at one of the playing children and asked, "That kid is just like when you were a kid. And you're telling me you adopted her?"
