Chapter 736 Unexpected Visitors

Her heart was racing. She thought she would pass out.

She stepped back and looked at him, "You won't let me go no matter what happened, even if I die?"

"That's not possible!" he said.

"You should go. I want to be alone," she said.

She went to the bed and covered herself with the blanket. She doesn't want to talk to him anymore.

It was not long when he followed her to bed, grabbed her arms, and put the watch back.

Veronica Parker didn't say anything. She heard the door closed.

She lifted the blanket and saw Nick Cage was gone. She heard the front door closed.

She got up and went back to the living room. It was confirmed he's gone.

She then realized she was able to tell him what she felt. She hoped she could do that all the time.

She looked at her wrist and saw the watch on it.

Nick Cage was not really letting her go.

There are so many beautiful women. Why does it have to be her?

She was confused. Was she waiting until Nick Cage was the one who rejected her?

Veronica Parker was still stupefied with what happened when the door opened again.

She doesn't know who it was this time.

"Mom!"

Veronica Parker frowned when she saw the children. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Peter, don't do that!" Nick Cage said.

Peter was about to climb over her and was stopped by his father.

Veronica Parker asked him, "Why did you bring them here?"

She thought Nick Cage went home. She didn't expect he would bring the children here.

"You said you missed them," said Nick Cage.

Veronica Parker was stupefied for a moment. She told her she wanted to be alone.

She remembered she told him she misses the children when they were on the yacht.

The children were here, and she couldn't do anything.

"Mom, do you live here alone?" Cathy asked.

"Mom, daddy and I were here for you," Lily said.

"I'm going to have slept with mom tonight!" Peter said.

"Me, too!" Julie was happy.
