Chapter 735 Together Again
Chapter 735 Together Again
She really wanted to smash the phone at that time, but if she does that, Nick Cage would appear.
If she does that, it would put an end to her communication with him.
She sat at the table for dinner when the door opened. It was Nick Cage!
He sat on the opposite side of the table and said, "I was just passing by."
"Did I just tell you I don't want to see you?" she said.
Veronica Parker knew he would not leave so she stopped eating, stood up, and went back to her room.
She was about to close the door when Nick Cage blocked it with his arms.
"Get out!" she angrily said.
He was not letting go. He grabbed her top and pulled her close to him.
"Still mad?" he said in a low voice.
He pulled her towards him and it made the door open. He hugged her tight.
Veronica Parker couldn't breathe. She was trying to resist but he was so strong.
"Let me go!" she said.
"Fight back or else I'll live here," he said.
"Don't you dare!" Veronica Parker stared at him with anger.
She knew Nick Cage would do as he says.
"Don't touch me!" she felt nervous.
"I can't do that."
She felt like he was treating her like a child.
"Why did you take off the watch?" he asked in a low voice.
Veronica Parker drew her wrist back. She forgot about the watch.
"I don't want it! I don't want the car, the watch, the bracelet, and even my job! I will give everything back to you!" she started crying, "I thought I would never get hurt if I stayed with you! You made me pregnant but you had it aborted! I am a person, too! I have the right to run away when I get hurt! I just don't want to have anything to do with you anymore!"
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again," he said in a low voice.
"Promise?" she said.
"Yes!"
Veronica Parker bit her lips and stared at him.
"There is only one chance," she said.
She thought she was an idiot! She believed him that it won't happen again.
Was that what she wanted?
He kissed her on the lips and said, "I can't let you go."
Veronica Parker struggled so he let her go. He doesn't want to hurt her anymore.
