Chapter 734 No One Ever Wanted Her
Chapter 734 No One Ever Wanted Her
"You know what," she said with a cold-hearted face, "I was glad that you were not my father. You are the person who doesn't understand the true meaning of life. You don't deserve the life you have right now."
Tom Parker looked at her fiercely and it didn't scare her a bit.
She only has herself and she has to fight for herself until the end.
Tom Parker suddenly laughed, "Why aren't you wearing your watch and bracelet? Did he abandon you, too? He just sent people to take care of your needs? I'm telling you, he's not marrying you and the day will come you will be just a piece of junk!"
Tom Parker walked towards the door and left the apartment.
Veronica hated when people thought she was just a toy for Nick Cage. The words of Tom Parker were like a knife that cut her chest open.
She grabbed the cup of coffee and wanted to crash it.
She breathed deeply and thought everything in the apartment, including that cup, belongs to Isabella.
She was about to calm down when her phone rang. She took the phone and her eyes dilated upon seeing the caller's name on the screen.
She clearly told him to stop bugging her. She tossed her phone into the glass of water. It sank to the bottom but it was still ringing.
She stood, went back to her room, and slammed the door.
She threw herself on the bed and stared at the window.
She felt like no one really cared for her. No one ever wanted her.
Tears were rolling down her cheeks.
Her biological parents abandoned her because they wanted to have a son. It was not her fault if she was born a girl. She was also a human who deserved to be loved.
She really wanted to find the people who abandoned her. She wanted to know what kind of people they are, but she doesn't have the courage to do it.
It could be awkward when they meet.
She knew Tom Parker was not telling the truth. When she talked to him earlier, she was waiting for him to fix his glasses but he didn't!
Helping him would be impossible. If she agrees with Tom Parker, she has to go back to Nick Cage and commit herself again.
But even if she didn't break up with Nick Cage, she won't still help him.
She wanted to forget everything about Tom Parker or maybe forgive him, but he doesn't deserve it! He had killed many people and broke her grandmother's heart. He never felt grateful to the person who raised him.
Maybe that was the reason why her grandma didn't mention his name when she was dying. He caused her too much pain and disappointment.
Tom Parker will go to hell! She was sure the capital side would not give him benefits and it won't take long for his company to go downhill.
She finally went out of the room. She saw the cellphone was still in the glass of water and felt guilty about it.
She took the phone out of the water and wiped it dry. It was still working!
