Chapter 83 Escape

"I will never see Toby Cage again, I promise."

"Do you want to have the next time? Huh?" Nick Cage trapped her between his body and the elevator. He held her chin, lifted her face, and asked dangerously.

"No, no, no! There will be no next time!" Veronica Parker hurriedly changed her tune.

"Remember, if you dare to resist, I will make your life a living hell!"

Veronica shuddered gently. "Yes."

The elevator door opened but Nick didn't go out. One of his hands clenched Veronica Parker's trouser waist. He pulled it hard and both of them heard a hiss of the fabric.

"Ah!" Veronica rebelled in panic, "No!"

"What did I just say? Did you forget so soon?" Nick asked dangerously.

"But this is the elevator." Veronica's eyes twinkled, she felt embarrassed and uneasy.

Nick held her neck with one hand and exerted a slight force.

"Ah, it hurts." Veronica Parker said as she kneeled directly in front of him. Her position was facing his waist and abdomen and it frightened her so much that she started to retreat.

Nick Cage clasped her face with one hand and looked down at her. "Do you like the feeling of being pressed on the head? Huh?"

Veronica Parker flushed with humiliation, "Why are you doing this to me? I told you, it's none of my business. I'm innocent! You are clearly venting your anger!"

"Vent out my anger? With that woman's blood running on your veins, I really can't see your innocence." Nick's voice carried an unfathomable danger.

"Is that something that I can choose? I've tried to avoid you. How did I know I'd run into you? It's too late for me to avoid you!" Veronica just wanted to discuss it with him and said, "I'll leave the capital and I'll leave tomorrow morning. No, no, if you will let me go now, I'll leave by train this night. Is that all right?"

Wasn't her sincerity enough? Why did she have to be involved in this mess with Nick? She was so unlucky!

"Do you want to go and escape? You're not going anywhere without my permission." This matter was non-negotiable for Nick.

Veronica felt that she was going to be crazy. This was not allowed, that was not possible, in the end, she wanted to question him what would be possible!

No way! She would not let Nick Cage invade her life.

In the eyes of Nick Cage, she was no longer just a woman who have had sex with him in a bar three years ago but the daughter of Chloe Bowen, whom he hated a lot.

She would be eaten alive by Nick Cage, he would torture her and she may not even have the strength to get out of bed.

If she wanted to get out of here, she had to find a way.

"Take the initiative, maybe I'll make you suffer less." She heard the dangerous sound of Nick's voice.

Veronica regained her wits and she tapped away the hand that was holding her face. She stepped back, stood up, and ran out of the elevator hurriedly.

She has not yet reached the elevator entrance when somebody grabbed her waist and held her tightly. The next second her feet were off the ground. Then, her body was pressed against the wall of the elevator again.

"Ah!" Veronica Parker shouted in horror.

She experienced shortness of breath and it was very difficult for her to breathe.

That scene was deja vu.

Nick looked at her gloomily, his face was completely shrouded in darkness.

"Save. Help me."

Nick breathed heavily and that seemed to suppress his fury.

"Where is medicine?" He asked coldly.

Veronica shook her head weakly. "No. No."

Nick took out his cell phone and called Tracy Dora with a cold expression. "Did you not give her medicine last time?"

Tracy Dora on the other line was a little confused but she understood what Nick meant after a few seconds, "Yes, a man came to get it for her. Did you do it again? Where is it?"
